A kid is not someone who is automatically manipulated. I said she is 'like a kid' as in someone who is eager to please. I didn't mean 'like a kid' as in someone who has a mind of a five year old.

I think more than not being strong minded, I saw a difference in how she treats him vs. her friends, her brother etc. She's very... respectful. I keep waiting for that closeness to appear between them and it hasn't yet. She's very polite to him. She wasn't at the beginning. She said polite words, but her actions were her own. She kept him in check. Since they started having feeling for each other, I see a distance between them that doesn't seem normal. Respectful, polite, distance.

100% agree. He doesn't take advantage at all. He's a proper gentleman and I love him as a character. I just wish he wasn't her professor, that's all. It doesn't serve any purpose for me.

Well, people in those kinds of relationships rarely finds that aspect bothersome. If they did, they wouldn't be in that relationship in the first place. - I just don't see the point of why he's still her professor. He defeated the evil. They're dating now. He's rich. He has a job. There is NO reason for him to stay as her Professor.

I am being obtuse because I am being attacked for saying I feel myself 'LEANING' towards the SML because of the power imbalance between two characters you ship. Honestly, I shipped her with Woo Yeo until they started dating because how she was pre-dating him was a different personality altogether. That's it. Now I don't ship her with either because she's dating a person she can't call by name. I expected them to be more casual when they started dating, but that's not the case. They are still formal with each other in the modern era. And like I said... It doesn't matter if you're an adult, there is a power imbalance inbuilt in boss/employee, Teacher/Student relationships. It's there. No point denying it.
She should be with 2ML who is forcing her to be with him...No matter how many times she says he keeps forcing…
Oh yeah. 100%. I always ship it when one person is forced into a relationship with another. Always give me the toxic, abusive relationship over the healthy relationship with the open communication. I mean, who would want a healthy relationship? Unhealthy relationships are the BEST. We should ALL be in unhealthy relationships.
Yea let's make her pair with sml who is completely toxic sorry but he lost the moment he put a bet he could win…
LMAO. I don't ship them. So many people jumping down my throat because I see a power imbalance between the main leads. You ship who you want to ship ya'll. I don't police people.

I know that. But their age difference is super evident because of how she acts. She's like a little kid trying hard to please her Uncle, and add to that the inappropriate relationship of a Professor/Student... It doesn't help. She's such a strong minded person with everyone else in her life except him. I'm disappointed that there is such a huge power difference between them now that they have started dating. Even though Woo Yeo is very considerate... It doesn't seem like a relationship of equals. And...he has no reason to stay on as her Professor...?
I tried really hard shipping the main leads but I can't , I mean they acted way too well that I literally feel…
Same here. At the beginning, I couldn't see the age difference, but now that they are dating I really feel the age gap. It has a bit of a creepy undertone to it. I think it has to do a lot with the power imbalance between them. Lee Dam feels like the little kid trying SO hard to please an Uncle.
I've been thinking bout FL character for some time and I finally could understand her better in the last couple…
Her character is a great narrative to show how society is quick to blame the woman over the man in any given situation. The wife, her colleagues, and her own mother... This show is showing us how women blame the woman first, and how they give the man the benefit of the doubt. Women don't need proof to blame a woman, but they do need proof to blame a man.
I'm glad they are tackling victim blaming in this show.
Almost everyone hating on Coach Yoon in ep 4. I really understand why, it's such an irresponsible move as a coach.…
I understand what they are going for... But the fact that he has one job and he doesn't do it well, and wants to get paid for doing nothing... He shouldn't be a coach. At all. Honestly, this is the kind of thing that gets teams to strike/petition to get the coach replaced/fired. There's nothing worse for a competing team than to have such bad leadership leading by bad example.
I'm glad they are tackling victim blaming in this show.
