Booked for passionate romance game , Landed in family drama

๐ŸŽฅ First Impressions

I clicked on this drama mainly because of Cheng Cheng. And honestly, the very first scene and its description were enough to hook me. It starts with an intimate moment and immediately reveals that the female lead is sleeping with her boyfriendโ€™s twin brother. That twist alone raises so many questions why is she doing this, and how did it happen? Definitely an attention-grabber from the start.

๐Ÿ“– What to Expect

If you're into passionate romance, this drama offers good kissing scenes and an intense love game dynamic. The early episodes are bold, emotionally charged, and full of tension between the characters.

๐ŸŽญ Characters & Acting

The male lead delivered a strong and convincing performance you can clearly feel his emotions. The female lead, on the other hand, felt a bit lacking in some scenes. However, their chemistry together was still enjoyable and believable, especially in the romantic moments.

โค๏ธ What I Loved

I especially loved the male leadโ€™s performance and the bold, well-done kissing scenes. He carried many of the emotional moments, and his expressions were on point. The romantic tension was one of the showโ€™s strongest elements.

๐Ÿ˜ What Didnโ€™t Work for Me

The biggest letdown was the shift in the storyline. It started with a thrilling love game between the two twin brothers and the female lead but halfway through, the plot suddenly changed to a completely different angle involving family rivalry and a lost daughter. That shift felt disconnected. Also, the scumbag twin didnโ€™t face any real consequences or even show guilt in right amount , which made the something incomplete.

โœ… Final Verdict

Overall, itโ€™s a good drama at least in the first half, when it sticks to its original theme. The love triangle and bold romantic tension were gripping, but the sudden plot change in the second half took away some of its impact. Still, worth watching for the performances and emotional drama.

Ah, my love, salute to your first glance.

The story has a slow pace, starting with the fresh, new feeling of love โ€“ the innocence, the hesitation, the longing to be with the person you love. It delicately handles the fear of the relationship breaking apart, understanding one's own feelings, and then waiting for the other person to understand. When the feelings are not reciprocated, itโ€™s about gracefully letting go of your love. These innocent emotions are portrayed in the drama, showing how two people cultivate their relationship.

Parents : Guardians of Guilt and Extend of Love

Movie Summary: IN FEW POINTS

1. Perspective on Justice: As long as wrongdoings affect others, they often go unnoticed. However, when the tables turn, it suddenly feels like a grave injustice.

2. Karma's Play: The movie emphasizes that you will inevitably reap what you sow.

3. Unconditional Parental Love: Parents' love for their children knows no bounds, even when those children have strayed down dark paths.

4. The Power of Influence: The film illustrates how bad company can lead even a good person astray.

5. Cost of Meddling: Never interfere in others' affairs, or you may end up facing the consequences.

6. Unexpected Twists: The story unfolds in a straightforward manner, but two pivotal twists elevate it to another level: one involving a parentโ€™s encounter with a store lady and the other being the twist at the end. These moments transform the movie into something truly memorable.

7. A Critique of Professional Portrayals: One lingering complaint is the film's portrayal of professions or organizations, which often disregards the actual rules and regulations tied to them.

Overall, this is a compelling movie that everyone should watch.

The Fine Line Between Laughter and Tears

In this movie, two aspects stood out as less appealing. Firstly, the transitions between flashbacks and the present storyline were challenging to follow. It felt as though the editing or execution wasn't as seamless as it could have been, making it difficult to fully grasp the timeline at first. Secondly, a key character who tampered with evidence or ignored a critical situation was not held accountable. This lack of justice left a loose end that was hard to overlook.

Despite these issues, the film was a blend of humor and deep emotion, successfully tugging at the heartstrings. It made you laugh, cry, and genuinely connect with the characters' journeys. The movie's ability to evoke such a wide range of emotions is a testament to its overall impact, even if certain elements fell short.

##############straightforward to the point

i don't find any chemistry in main lead all the time ML seems burden in relation his 1st love is not love , its pity case and for 2nd love its guilt case all the time i think what he is doing in name of love ? charity !!!!

a love story with supernatural concept what is come out of that ???? nothing !!!!!! its big blunder

comedy 10/10
steamy kisses 10/10
(when lead kisses that time only i see chemistry between them only that time ML eyes filled with love other than he was feared or guilty all the time )

park soo kyung character 10/10

this was the 1st show where mike aum make pair and their chemistry, pair, loved by all over the world. cause of that they again paired for "kiss me". which is also a tremendous work of them, people often went to "kiss me" after watching "full house". as sources declare "full house & kiss me " both are highest watching show

but i came here after watching "kiss me" which is them after project of "full house". after watching "kiss me" i became fan of mike and aum i really loved them even one sec of the scene of " kiss me " drama i can't criticize the team of "kiss me "

so my expectation is very high but i'm disappointed here. i confessed haven't watch "full house " Korean. so i'm not judging/comparing it to Korean version . what i expected is their chemistry which is there , but what i expected which is not there is great script writing. confusing writing , logically not acceptable.

first two episodes are not eye locking if I've n't watched "kiss me" i wouldn't taken the risk to watch further episodes but it not disappointed me in certain things . and i went through 15 episodes which are really great. but what after it i get silly/logic-less/confusing script writing . until the 15 episode i really want to give it 10/10 but further episodes change my mind and i given it 6/10

-> if you have given promise to stand beside her always in any situation that doesn't mean you should be her hubby there are many ways(friend/brother) to be with her(is he insane)
->no matter how way you confessed your love she need a proper confession (is she dumb)
-> last two -three episodes flash backs irritate me

as a fan of aum and mike i still want to give it 10/10 but then it'll be unfair review

ACTING-----
Aum 8/10
Mike 10/10

after this may be i'm hated by many people who really admire aum/ mike/ full house but love you all

i really want to give it 10/10 but i'm not that person who like simple going story i love to watch great surprising shocking shows which make me to say " wow ! that's great" thing i watched

RECOMMENDATION : yes i really want to recommend its good shows watch it for once

Grace in Duty, Gap in Thrill, Beauty in Emotion

I like military-themed dramas especially when they involve love stories centered around military personnel. That alone was a simple yet strong enough reason for me to give this one a try.

I absolutely love military dramas, and this one included several of my favorite elements:

โŸก๐Ÿช– Military life and training
โŸก๐Ÿ… Military competitions
โŸก๐Ÿค Bonds of friendship among soldiers
โŸก๐Ÿ˜„ Light-hearted teasing and camaraderie
โŸก๐Ÿ’˜ Romantic relationships involving military personnel
โŸก ๐Ÿง‘โ€โœˆ๏ธ Senior-junior dynamics
โŸก๐Ÿ“ Military discipline, hierarchy, and lifestyle
โŸก๐Ÿ‘ฌ Not only are military personnel and their teams like a family, but their actual families also share the same deep bond. Just as soldiers support one another, their families, too, stand by and support each other like one united family.
๐“‚ƒ I appreciate when a profession is portrayed with realism and dignity not only the professional aspects, but their emotional and personal lives too.
๐“‚ƒ The story was engaging at the beginning the characters were well-woven, and their arcs thoughtfully developed.

While the drama began with promise, there were several things that disappointed me:

๐Ÿ“‰ After the pirates hostage situation:

๐Ÿ•ณ๏ธThe story began to lose momentum.
๐Ÿ•ณ๏ธ The pacing and direction shifted, weakening the original intensity.

โŒ The character "Han Yu Hang" :

โจฏ Felt completely unnecessary and overly frustrating.
โจฏ ๐Ÿšซ FL (Female Lead) had already made it clear that she wasnโ€™t interested, yet he kept following her and interfering in her life.
โจฏHeโ€™s not her brother, cousin, ex, friend, family, or enemy. In short, he has no role in her life or in the main story.
โจฏHis screen time felt like a total waste. I honestly wondered, what was the writer even thinking?
โจฏ His presence doesn't even qualify as that of a typical "extra" he was just there, adding nothing.

โจฏAnd whatโ€™s wrong with Han Yu Hang? Has he completely lost his sense of reality? Heโ€™s asking FL, โ€œYou know Iโ€™ve been pursuing you, right? You only come to me when you need something. What do I even mean to you?โ€

โจฏSeriously? She has clearly told you there's nothing possible between you two. You're the one forcing yourself into her life, offering help she never asked for. You're the one pushing this so-called friendship or "convenient relationship" not her.

โจฏShe never initiated it, so what right or logic do you have to ask her such questions now?

โจฏ๐Ÿคกโœ๏ธBravo, writer. What a bafflingly tone-deaf character youโ€™ve written.

๐Ÿ’ฆ The "FL jumps into the water" scene:

๐Ÿงป๐Ÿ’ง Practically and logically, it made no sense.
๐Ÿงป๐Ÿ’งWomen are generally not as physically strong , here to compare to trained male soldiers that even more impossible . If you put a weak link between two strong ones in a chain, the chain will still break.
๐Ÿงป๐Ÿ’งSoldiers were forming a human chain to stop the water. There was no need for FL to jump in the middle.
๐Ÿงป๐Ÿ’งWas she trying to prove she was stronger than the soldiers?
๐Ÿงป๐Ÿ’ง It didnโ€™t feel empowering it felt reckless.
๐Ÿ‘‰ It looked like the writer just wanted to force importance on the FL through an illogical and unrealistic act.
๐Ÿ‘‰ As a viewer, I already knew she was the main lead there was no need to add a foolish scene to emphasize it.
๐Ÿ’ญ Honestly, that scene just made both the FL and the writer look silly.

โš ๏ธ Irresponsible Writing at Its Peak:

๐Ÿฉบโš ๏ธ2ML should not be allowed near 2FL until a doctor has given full clearance.

๐Ÿฉบโš ๏ธIf someone had told me there was even a possibility of HIV, I would have locked myself in a room for the safety of others. No matter how educated you are, whether you're a soldier or a doctor, you cannot prevent every accident.

๐Ÿฉบโš ๏ธIt doesnโ€™t take much for HIV to spread even a small cut or exposure to blood can be enough. In daily life, people get cuts in the kitchen all the time. And no one is fully alert every second of the day.

๐Ÿฉบโš ๏ธWhat was the writer even thinking while writing something so careless and foolish? ๐Ÿคกโœ๏ธ

๐Ÿ•ต๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ Failed Thrilling Track:

The story started with a suspenseful tone a mysterious informer emailing a reporter, and the reporter beginning an investigation. That part felt exciting and promising.

Butโ€ฆ

๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ˜žThe informer was kidnapped too easily.
๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ˜žSuddenly he wanted to cooperate with the police then why involve the reporter in the first place?
๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ˜ž That whole storyline was dismissed with a simple, lazy excuse:
โ€œReporter FL should stay away; itโ€™s dangerous.โ€
๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ˜žโš ๏ธ All the thrill, danger, and suspense justโ€ฆ vanished.

๐Ÿงโ€โ™‚๏ธ Underwhelming Villain:

๐Ÿ’ฃ๐Ÿ‘ŽThe so-called โ€œvillainโ€ a businessman and his team didnโ€™t seem like villains at all.
๐Ÿ’ฃ๐Ÿ‘ŽThey lacked presence, threat, or impact.
๐Ÿ’ฃ๐Ÿ‘ŽThey felt more like extras with random dialogue than actual antagonists.
๐Ÿ’ฃ๐Ÿ‘ŽPoorly written and ineffective in adding any thrill or tension.

Despite its flaws, I still consider this a good drama. Maybe it's because Iโ€™m a little biased toward this theme but I genuinely enjoyed the military setting and emotional undertones.

Yes, it lost its direction midway, but the early episodes, the characters, and the military lifestyle won me over.

๐Ÿ’ญ If you enjoy military romance and donโ€™t mind a few bumps along the way, this drama is still worth watching.

lacking in performance

I found the kissing and intimate scenes quite clumsy, as if it was the actors' first project involving such scenes, or as if they werenโ€™t comfortable with each other. If both actors have no issues with intimacy, then the intimacy director definitely needs to take some coaching classes, because the output just wasnโ€™t convincing. The couple has been heavily praised for their chemistry,
but honestly, I didnโ€™t feel any chemistry at all. When the actors' discomfort starts showing on screen, any sense of chemistry goes completely out the window. Even leaving the intimate scenes aside, I still felt there was a lack in the actors' overall performance. It didnโ€™t feel exciting or heart-fluttering , it felt more like two kids pretending to be husband and wife.

i'll give you as short as i can and if you looking for detailed review look for other :)

Part of the 3/4 (12 ep) episodes went on to describe the character of Cha Moon Shook as powerful and brilliant minded so that our main couple seemed did not emerge in the series, that they are co-star/supporting actor of the main lead Cha Moon Shook .

i really want to drop it but only for "lee joon gi " i finished it and of course for his fight/action scenes which hook me till the last

" i'm disappointed " Apart from this, I did not have anything else to say. :(

i never saw such rubbish ridiculous fake acting deliver by actors even scenes are not perfectly directed by directors whether it is romance or action what are rush about they so not cared about quality and quantity in drama how much effort a thing needed and not needed it should be measured to come out a perfect product ( for ex if dish have no salt it taste bland, if more it become waste so perfection is important in anything) their is no perfection only wasted producer fund

for me acting is kind of art which take people to another world (imagination ) where they can't analysis what they are seeing is not real and mesmerizes you that you can't blink for one sec you connect with them as genuine they perform

but here all actors perform like newbie don't know how to act or doing fake acting just reading script without feeling

i really don't suggest it if it could perfectly written has ended by may be 16-18 epi yes i have not completed it yet but i can say it cause they dragged the episodes with unnecessary things

this drama could have great scope but unfortunately team destroyed it

i really like thing about Korean drama they are precise well written and executed don't rush and drag like other countries

now come to the drama i'm wondering after watching it why its titled " WHAT's WRONG WITH SECRETARY KIM" it should be titled " WHAT's WRONG WITH VICE PRESIDENT LEE " cause after hearing miss kim - she is quiting job mr. lee is no longer as usual lol :)

i must say actors are well deserve to be their they enact things greatly that make me sense writer/screenplay whomever done that have beautiful creator mind and magician to written/convey it

we all know there is nothing new in any drama all have same things romance bromance enemy action melodrama but what make any drama different/special is how you are presenting it

the show tell story about three person who went through trauma and how they overcame things and endure/control their emotion its old saying " when people face hard time either that person broke or became more stronger"

i used to go deeply in emotion how people convey their feelings so i've used serious words here so don't judge this drama is serious the thing i above mentioned it conveyed in very beautiful/light way its only some part of drama the whole drama is about confused heart of mr. lee and his stupidity cute romance as a same time passionate

recommendation 10/10

complete story :

Lin Xiao Shao (played by Guo Yu Xin) is a simple, obedient young woman who has never truly known love or belonging. Orphaned at a young age, she was adopted into a family that only saw her as an asset to be used. Unlike her brother, she was never treated with warmth or respect. Instead, she was groomed to be sold off in the marriage market to the highest bidder. Her marriage to Fu Yuchuan (played by Wang Kai Mu) is nothing more than a business transaction orchestrated by her adoptive family. Fu Yuchuan, on the other hand, is the illegitimate child of a powerful business family. Despite the odds, he has carved a name for himself in the business world through sheer talent and hard work. His success, however, has only made him the target of envy and hatred from his own family.Unable to harm Fu Yuchuan directly, his family turns their frustration toward Lin Xiao Shao, subjecting her to cruel treatment under the guise of family rules and traditions. Yuchuan, unaware of their actions, wrongly assumes that Xiao Shao was planted by his family to spy on him. This misunderstanding causes him to stay emotionally distant and indifferent toward her.Xiao Shao, caught between a loveless family, hostile in-laws, and a cold husband, leads a life devoid of affection and happiness. Her world turns upside down when she is diagnosed with a terminal illness. This revelation becomes a turning point for her. She undergoes a complete transformation no longer the submissive girl everyone could push around, she begins to live for herself. Her newfound strength and cold detachment unexpectedly attract Yuchuanโ€™s attention. As she begins to assert herself and withdraw from everyone, including him, he starts to see her in a new light. Slowly, the distance between them shortens, and their relationship begins to evolve. Despite the improvement, Xiao Shao chooses to divorce Yuchuan, not wanting to burden him or be dragged along in a loveless bond. Itโ€™s only after this that Yuchuan discovers the truth about her illness. Heartbroken and desperate, he secretly donates bone marrow to her, never revealing his identity as the donor.Eventually, it is Yuchuanโ€™s close friend who reveals the truth to Xiao Shao, making her realize the depth of Yuchuanโ€™s love and sacrifice. Moved and overwhelmed, she returns to him. In the end, the two find their way back to each other not as strangers in a business deal, but as soulmates who have endured pain, misunderstanding, and transformation.

My Take:

The tone of the drama seems to evolve in three distinct phases-first/ third, everything feels cold and emotionally distant. second /third, characters begin to soften. final /third, everyone has completely melted emotionally. This shift in tone was evident, but I found the transitions between these phases a bit jarring. The tonal changes didnโ€™t flow smoothly, making it feel like the drama was divided into disconnected chunks. If you watch each part separately, theyโ€™re good in their own right. But if you watch it all at once, something feels off as if the parts donโ€™t blend into a cohesive whole. For example, the drama begins on a strong note where the female lead decides she won't care about anyone anymore and will live the rest of her life for herself. However, this idea quickly becomes contradictory. Despite being ignored by her husband for years, she suddenly becomes soft toward him just because of a single gesture. That shift didnโ€™t sit well with me. It wouldโ€™ve made more sense if the FL had taken more time to accept the ML emotionally. As they say, "They plan was to go to London, but somehow we ended up in Indonesia." Thatโ€™s how the drama felt starting with one direction but taking an entirely different route. Some aspects felt missing or left unexplained .

What I did like about the drama:

1. Even though the ML ignored the FL, he was never cruel to her.
2. I cried a lot from the moment the FL divorced the ML and left, right up until the end it was emotionally impactful.
3. Although the story didnโ€™t maintain the tone it began with, the couple's moments were touching and beautiful.

Overall, itโ€™s a good drama if you can overlook the abrupt rhythm and enjoy it for its emotional beats and character moments.

from the first episode everything is predictable for me what is fun to watch this is that female protagonist character , child artist, and the supporting character KIS/neighbors/society who are fun loving , aware of their surrounding , and more active than NIS agents to solve anything .

this show remind me INDIAN show " KABHI BIWI KABHI JASOOS"

from the first episode i knew it who is villian and where the story going it so i can't say story/concept is great it have some loopholes even a child can pick out .

its OK OK drama :)

nothing new to say about as tagged it "slap and kiss" you get it from it lot of moments. what i want to mention is i never saw such revenge drama where revenge is taken from each and every one belongs to enemy messing/ruining with each one life/head. i watched other revenge drama where only one to endure things for wrong doing.

different people have different definition of strong FL but for my definition is " if a FL is physically strong to tackle physical fight, emotionally strong to over come their obstacle to not plead anyone, mentally strong to manipulate things and messing with people heads"

yes there is strong FL who fits with almost my definition emotionally strong and mentally strong, many times you get to know her strong side just because its a romantic and slap kiss drama the strong FL definition is manipulated sometimes we know if there is no need of each other in lead pair how story will go

should i need to tell you ML is charming handsome who play cruel and involve with all life but only in their heart FL stay
