A Standout Crime Investigation Drama in the Short Series Category
My review contains : 1. Episodes Reviews 2. Overall Review 3. Case TimelineFirst Impressions of Episode 1 – A Promising Crime Show with Room for Improvement
It's good to see a short series exploring different genres, especially crime. The attempt is impressive, and the concept has potential. However, both the lead characters come across as overacting or trying too hard to appear like they know everything. It feels more like they’re in a competition to outsmart each other rather than working together. Their behavior seems exaggerated, as if they’re not making assumptions based on evidence but just to prove they're one step ahead of the other.
The introduction of the leads and their first interaction didn’t feel natural at all, it was quite obvious that they were acting.
That said, once the story settles in after the first interaction, the show picks up and starts to flow better. The crime elements are engaging, and the pacing works well for a short series. With a bit more natural chemistry between the leads, it could really shine.
Episode 2 : Finding Its Natural Rhythm
Now it finally feels like natural acting. Every character’s performance is coming across authentically. From the very first episode, the show has been executing the crime investigation genre the way it should be. The direction, writing, and production were already impressive and now the acting has caught up too.
The leads, who felt slightly off in the first episode, have truly settled into their roles. The production quality, set design, direction, and especially the script are all commendable. This is shaping up to be a well-crafted and engaging crime series.
Episode 3 : Gripping, Smart, and Seamlessly Executed
Direction, screenplay, acting, casting, production, and set design , everything works together to keep you fully engaged. This is an intriguing, thrilling, and well-paced investigative crime drama with strong elements of forensic and medical analysis.
It feels like the first short series I've seen that genuinely explores this theme with such polish or at least, the first one that’s executed it so effectively. The dynamic between the teammates and friends solving complex cases together adds heart and depth to the narrative. A truly compelling watch so far.
Episode 4 : A Relationship Rooted in Understanding
One of the highlights of this episode is the beautifully portrayed relationship between the male lead and his girlfriend. Their bond feels mature and grounded, built on mutual respect and understanding. It's refreshing to see a couple dynamic that complements the intensity of the crime narrative without overshadowing it. A well-balanced touch of emotion amidst the investigation.
Episode 5 : Unskippable, Intriguing, and Impressively Detailed
You won’t skip a single second , it’s that intriguing and detailed. As an investigative show, it captures your attention completely, with every moment adding value. The cast delivers strong performances, and not once do you feel bored or frustrated.
The drama team has clearly worked on every detail to make this short series stand out. They haven’t compromised in quality and quantity . precise giving things to taste good.
Episode 6 : A Twist That Feels Too Familiar?
At this point, I couldn't help but feel that the masked painter girl might be a duplicate of or somehow related to the male lead’s girlfriend. And if that’s really the case, the thrill of the mystery seems to lose its edge a bit.
What started as a deeply layered and intriguing narrative now risks feeling a bit predictable if it turns into a simple “lookalike” plot. Hopefully, there's more beneath the surface, because up until now, the series has kept its mystery sharp and engaging.
Episode 7 : Suspense , with Perfect Background Score
The background music in this drama truly stands out it beautifully matches the tone and theme of the drama, enhancing the overall atmosphere.
I'm glad my earlier assumption turned out to be wrong, because it means the suspense is still alive and well. The show continues to keep us guessing, making it feel like a true psychological and investigative puzzle. At this point, it’s really hard to tell who the real culprit is and that’s exactly what makes it so engaging.
Episode 8 : Confusion and the Psychological Crime Drama
At this point, I’m confused, but in the next moment, I realize this is a psychological crime drama where people are not simply judged as right or wrong because they have psychological problems.
Episode 9 : A Perfectly Balanced Emotional Depth
I really loved the emotional scenes in this drama they have a good, steady pace. The emotions aren’t exaggerated, nor are they rushed; everything is executed just right. A genuine amount of feeling is conveyed.
The backstories of both leads are explored with flashbacks revealing their past sad moments. This adds a deep emotional touch, bringing feelings of encouragement and loss. It enriches the narrative beautifully.
Episode 10 : Steady Flow and Subtle Depth
The drama continues to maintain a smooth and engaging flow, progressing at a well-balanced pace. One of its strengths is how the lead characters’ pasts are revealed thoughtfully, without slipping into overdramatization.
Despite their emotional struggles, the leads stay committed to their responsibilities, never letting personal pain affect their professional integrity. It’s a subtle yet powerful portrayal of strength and focus under pressure.
Episode 11 : Precision in Performance and Production
The characters consistently showcase sharp, professional analysis, staying true to their roles as investigators. Their approach feels authentic and well-researched, adding credibility to the story.
Behind the scenes, the drama team has done an outstanding job. The setting, camera work, direction, and screenplay all come together seamlessly. The editing is equally impressive, enhancing the overall flow and polish of the series. Every element contributes to the high production quality that continues to shine through.
Episode 12 : A Missed Detail, But Natural Charm Shines Through
I noticed something a bit late the characters are forensic doctors, yet none of them wear masks in the lab. Wearing a mask is a basic protocol whenever a doctor enters a lab, especially to prevent contamination or unpleasant odors.
But then again how would they show their beautiful faces to the audience if they wore masks, right? This is a common oversight in dramaland. Still, it’s something that stands out once you think about it.
That said, the light-hearted jokes sprinkled throughout this drama are really well done. They help keep the atmosphere balanced and feel natural rather than forced. It also reflects the good rapport between the characters they’re comfortable around each other, and it shows in the way they connect and open up. A small touch, but an important one.
Episode 13 : Slips in Detail, But the Drama Still Holds Strong
Some details in this drama stood out and not in a good way. For instance, how can a doctor touch his mouth with the same gloves he just used in the lab? That’s a serious contamination risk, especially when dealing with unknown substances. It's a clear oversight in terms of accuracy.
Even more surprising, the doctor has a cough but isn’t using a mask or even a handkerchief. For a medical professional, that feels unrealistic and careless.
On the character side, the couple continues to show a strong bond and understanding. But of course, no moment is safe from an untimely interruption just when things feel special, a friend shows up like a classic scene-stealer.
Another detail that felt off: they head to a crime scene without wearing proper protective gear like shoe covers or gloves, which could easily compromise the evidence with their own prints.
Despite these inconsistencies, I’ve chosen to overlook them because as a short series, this drama has truly delivered. It’s a standout in its category, with enough strength in story, emotion, and execution to make up for the small missteps.
Episode 14 : A Brilliantly Cast Ensemble
To be honest, I’m really enjoying every single cast member in this drama whether it’s the villains, supporting roles, extras, or the leads. Each one feels perfectly cast and delivers a convincing performance.
The writer has done a fantastic job crafting distinct, memorable characters, and the actors have truly brought them to life. It’s rare to see such consistency across the entire cast, and it’s one of the key reasons the drama feels so immersive and well-rounded.
Episode 15 : Rushed Confession and Underwhelming Action
The confession scene felt a bit too easy almost like a piece of cake. But considering this is a short series with limited time, it’s somewhat understandable and fair within that constraint.
However, the hostage exchange came across as surprisingly smooth. In a situation that should have been tense and chaotic, it lacked the fear, urgency, or unpredictability you'd expect. The action sequence didn’t feel fully prepared; it played out more like a rehearsal than a real high-stakes moment.
Even the camera work in this scene seemed off, missing the intensity such a scene demands. While the story is still strong overall, this episode fell short in delivering the emotional and visual impact the situation called for.
Episode 16 : Smart Storytelling That Keeps You Hooked
One of the best things about this drama is how each case is revisited and explained in detail after it’s solved. This is especially helpful for viewers who might not have caught everything during the fragmented storytelling of the investigation itself.
Showing these fragments during the investigation phase is a smart approach it mirrors the real process of piecing clues together. But wrapping it up with a clear summary at the end helps the audience fully understand what happened.
It’s a clever technique for a crime drama, one that keeps viewers engaged and encourages them to think like detectives. This storytelling style not only deepens the mystery but also keeps the audience connected to the narrative from start to finish.
Episode 17 : The Beginning of the End
The story is now entering its final phase the beginning of the end. We’re approaching the point where long-held questions, especially those tied to the lead character, are finally going to be answered.
What makes this drama unique is that love is not the central theme, yet it's woven in thoughtfully to give emotional strength to the characters. The romantic elements add depth and a touch of warmth, enriching the story without overshadowing the plot or character arcs.
The revelations from the past have begun to unfold,
Episode 18 : A Step to the Truth
Episode 19 : Predictable Path, Hidden Truth
From this point on, the story is becoming somewhat predictable the direction feels clear. However, what still keeps the suspense alive is the one lingering question: what is the secret behind it all?
Episode 20 : Slipping Interest and a Common Dramaland Oversight
As the story progresses, it’s starting to feel more and more predictable. The suspense is fading, and my interest is slowly declining.
One question that came to mind while watching: in reality, an investigation police officer and a forensic police officer have different roles and responsibilities. Forensic officers don’t accompany the team everywhere they typically arrive after a crime has occurred, not during every field operation.
This is yet another common dramatization error often seen in crime dramas, and though I’ve chosen to overlook it, it still stands out to anyone familiar with real-life procedures.
Episode 21 : The Puzzle of Unknown Paths
Interest sparked once again. The mystery grips you anew. It’s like that puzzle where you know the beginning and the end but between them lie countless paths. Which one will lead you to the destination? That remains unknown. And yet, a few revelations have begun to surface, hinting at how the journey unfolds.
Episode 22: The Mystery Deepens
The mystery continues to unfold. Fragments of the past emotional, long-buried moments are now beginning to reveal the layers of the present. As memories resurface, they start unlocking truths that were hidden in plain sight.
Episode 23: A Disappointing Turn
It feels like he's playing the game but in reality, someone else is moving the pieces. The writer has scripted yet another foolish move for the main lead. When you know exactly what you're looking for, you could simply buy it from the market, instead of walking straight into a trap. Here, the villain’s intelligence clearly outshines the main lead’s and it's not even about high IQ, it’s just basic common sense.
Episode 24: We reach the end, Touched by the Journey
Say what you will but I was genuinely touched by the emotional moments in this drama. After all the struggles and revelations, despite the twists and flaws, we’ve finally reached the end. And somewhere along the way, the emotions left their mark.
Overall Review: A Short Series That Truly Stands Out
I started watching this drama because I recognized the male lead from his work in vertical series that's how I was familiar with him. But the moment I began watching, I found myself genuinely impressed by the drama itself, far beyond just the cast.
As a short series, this one truly stands out. It offers a complete package: strong acting, excellent casting, solid direction, high-quality production, a well-written screenplay, immersive setup, engaging narration, and compelling storytelling. Everything comes together seamlessly to create a thoroughly engaging experience that's definitely worth watching.
To be clear, my praise is based on this drama’s merit "within the short series category". I'm not comparing it to full-length standard format dramas or vertical . Of course, there are certain elements where I do have complaints but I’m willing to overlook them because, for the most part, the drama impressed me with its overall quality and execution.
This is the "second short series" that has left a lasting impression on me, and the "first in the crime investigation genre" within this format to do so. The first short series that truly impressed me was "A Familiar Stranger."
For that reason, I genuinely believe this effort deserves recognition and appreciation.
Case Timeline :
The series revolves around three main cases:
Case 1 is resolved by Episode 8
Case 2 concludes by Episode 16
Case 3, which is deeply connected to the male lead’s father, wraps up in Episode 24

Foolish Yet Fun – Still Watchable
My Take:It was a really good, light-hearted, and fun romantic drama. The chemistry between the leads and the emotional push-and-pull made it engaging and enjoyable. However, one thing that didn’t sit right with me was how the female lead (FL) was repeatedly bullied that part was genuinely frustrating. Given that the male lead (ML) is portrayed as a powerful and wealthy man, he should have been more protective and cautious when it came to FL’s well-being. For someone of his status, ensuring her safety and dignity shouldn’t have been a big deal. That late of action felt instupidity with his deep love and obsession for her.synopsis : Dressed seductively and slightly intoxicated, the female lead (FL) waits for her fiancé. She plans to spend the night with him, hoping to conceive a child because bearing an heir is the only condition set by her family to claim the inheritance. But when the door opens, it isn’t her fiancé it’s the male lead (ML), a stranger to her. They end up spending the night together. In the next scene, FL wakes up in a moving car, thinking everything was just a dream. The driver informs her that her fiancé sent the car to bring her to a special location. However, upon arriving, she catches her fiancé in an intimate moment with her stepsister. Heartbroken and humiliated, she breaks off the engagement on the spot.Just then, a stranger offers her an escape from the scene. Desperate and devastated, she leaves with him unaware that he is the same man from the night before, and that he is, in fact, the ML.Soon after, FL and ML marry. As the story unfolds, it's revealed that the night they spent together was not a dream it actually happened. In fact, it was either an accidental or secretly planned encounter orchestrated by ML. Back in school, FL had once saved ML during a dark period of his life, becoming his only light and hope. He has loved her ever since. The car, too, was part of ML’s plan he wanted to reveal the true face of her fiancé so she could be free to choose a better path.ML, now an ultra-rich and powerful yet emotionally guarded man, hides his real identity from FL. He pretends to be a kind, humble, and possibly a doctor matching the qualities FL once described as her “ideal man” during their school days.Despite being married, ML avoids physical intimacy, afraid that once FL has a child and secures her family inheritance, she might leave him. He’s terrified of losing her, so he keeps delaying the consummation of their marriage. What follows is a complex, emotional game of hide and seek: FL tries to seduce her husband, unaware of his true identity and hidden fears, while ML desperately tries to hold on to her without revealing the truth that might shatter everything.

Love yourself, and people will naturally love you.
Chen Yu An and Quan Rui |concept : two sister exchange their husbands after rebirth | my take : The couple shares a great rapport, and the male lead (ML) is not blinded by the supposed "saving grace" of the second female lead (2FL); he takes action against her when necessary. The mother-in-law is portrayed as a good and supportive character. Both the ML and female lead (FL) have personalities that reflect kindness towards the good and firmness towards the bad, with a strong sense of guiding those who are lost back to the right path. There’s no toxicity in the story, making it a drama truly worth watching.| https://youtu.be/lx1YIGr-oe0 |Was this review helpful to you?

i watched it only for slap kiss genre i like the scenes between main leads , the twist ML became prince, and most disgust evil FL character that support whole story if this three factors are not there the drama is already rubbish i really like slap kiss rape genre so i watched many Thai dramas only the thing i don't understand is Thai drama have not great story line to create slap kiss rape genre they do rubbish concept if story line is exist execution is not good enough execution in the sense script writing and camera angles in this even though main lead really kissed but stupid camera man not used that opportunity to utilize it perfectly some artist hesitate to physical contact what the use of artist effort to create passionate love but angles makes it fake kiss.
so i ignore the story and only watch the scenes that make my day it would be great if all things done perfectly so its between 4-6 rate according me
EPISODES 1-10
hate love force slap kiss romance you can see
EPISODES 10-17
main target is FL by evil FL and happy ending
RECOMMENDATION
YES : 1- 8 episodes only who love slap kiss for them after that its their choice if they want to continue or skip till the end to know whole story for me further it is logic less cause there are many loopholes
***** ML reject his wife to marry evil FL at the end he is saying that i already know your are not that woman i love then he must immediate leave her when he realize it if after realizing it he continue with her that mean you are in love with her if so there is not needed to make reenter evil FL in their life but he does such a stupid/ rubbish/confusing concept *****when each and every one know that FL have identical twins so there is possibility if she is denying on some act so they should point out evil FL but they have no brain think of it
NO: for them who don't like average or imperfect dramas

ML rescue mission, save brainless and powerless FL never ends.
The FL’s problems just never end, and every single time, it’s the ML who comes to her rescue. She seems to have no identity or brain of her own always dependent on the ML. And after being saved so many times, she doesn’t even question how one delivery guy has such deep connections with powerful people. This FL is either truly dumb or just pretending to be, because she’s clearly getting what she wants from the ML, so it doesn’t matter to her who he is.And the ML? He never goes to his office or does any actual work. What kind of CEO has the writer created here? I seriously don’t understand what the ML saw in the FL that made him fall in love with her after just a one-night stand. She can’t manage her own company, can’t deal with evil people, has no dignity, and no brains. On top of that, the writer has turned almost every character into her enemy, constantly troubling her, just to make the ML look like her savior. It’s fine once or twice, but when it happens again and again, the same rescue drama becomes annoying and frustrating.
That’s why I’m dropping this. There are more frustrating moments than good ones, and honestly, it’s just not worth continuing anymore.

Something Feels Missing
"Checkmate by Chaos, When the Writer/Director Becomes the Dumbest Player"[after 16 eps ] I neither see love nor hate in this , there’s no glimpse of a love-hate story. There’s absolutely no chemistry between the couple; they come across more like strangers, co-passengers just traveling, or colleagues working together.
The story is decent, and no doubt the actors are talented , I’ve seen and appreciated their work before. But here, they’re unable to bring that emotional depth into the narrative. Something feels off, which is why I can't really connect with it. It feels more like they’re just going through the motions, as if there’s no real spark. Makes me wonder if there’s some off-screen issue that’s affecting their on-screen performance.
Also, once the real identities are revealed, all the characters suddenly go through a 180-degree change, which doesn’t feel organic or in sync with the story’s flow. It seems like the makers are playing it safe , like romantic comedies (light hearted ) are often considered a "safe zone" genre.
Overall, it’s an okay-ish drama. There’s nothing particularly exciting or intriguing to keep you hooked or on the edge of your seat. I’m watching it mainly because there’s nothing else to watch , not because it’s genuinely compelling. That said, it doesn’t frustrate or annoy me either, which in itself is a plus point.
Other dramas not only fall short, but they’re also frustrating to watch. This one, despite its flaws, doesn't frustrate , like I said, it feels like a safe play.
overall okay-ish drama watch if you have nothing.
[after 28 eps ] Dragged by Fillers: There are more fillers than actual meaningful content, and the pacing is extremely slow. This story could have easily been wrapped up in 10–20 episodes.
Equality Claimed, Not Shown : If the female lead (FL) is supposed to be equal to the male lead (ML), then why doesn’t she have her own kingdom, palace, army, or loyal subordinates? Why did she have to make a mortal sect her follower? I mean, she can do that, but shouldn’t she already have her own people, especially if she holds equal status to the ML?
Also, they keep saying FL and ML are equally powerful, but FL isn’t even able to leave a scratch on ML. It’s only because of ML’s deep feelings for her that he allows himself to get hurt , he’s holding back. That’s not equality in strength; it’s just ML’s emotional restraint.
No Heart, No Hook : All the characters and the story feel lifeless. There's no depth, no backstory , nothing that helps develop the plot or the people in it. The way it has been executed makes it seem like the creators didn’t even try to give the characters any individuality. Everyone feels like background extras just standing around, rather than real people with real emotions or purposes.
I can't connect with this drama because it evokes absolutely nothing in me , no love, no hate, no sympathy, no empathy, not even sadness or happiness. And when a viewer feels that way, it’s a clear sign that the drama has failed to reach their heart. For me, this drama is a complete failure.
[after 32 eps ] From start to finish, this story is filled with foolish decisions and a complete lack of purpose. Not a single character can be called wise, nor did anyone truly demonstrate strength in the real sense. Every character kept making irrational, senseless choices. Even after achieving something as significant as immortality, they still came across as weak and directionless.
It felt like all the characters were pawns on a chessboard, and the writer was just randomly moving them around without any strategy. The writer was pulling the strings, but instead of crafting a clever game, he made every wrong move. The pawns-these characters, were being killed off at random, and for what? If this was a chess match, let me tell you, Mr. Writer, you’ve already lost.
Honestly, the biggest fool in this entire drama is the one writing it. And in the end, what does the female lead even achieve? Living in an illusion? Changing the past that doesn’t even affect the future? This is one of the most baseless and illogical endings I’ve ever seen in any drama.
Usually, I don’t care whether a character lives or dies at the end, what matters to me is the emotional closure, the meaningful farewell or message that most stories offer. But here? Nothing. No impact. It's as if the script was written under the influence of something, like the writer was high while drafting it.
I initially gave this drama a 5-star rating, but I’m changing that now. Even that rating feels undeserved.
Since giving a rating is mandatory while submitting a review, my rating will appear on this drama’s profile. But honestly, I didn’t even want to touch the rating section , I would’ve preferred to leave it completely blank. Thankfully, it’s not compulsory on the user profile, so it won’t show up in my actual list. Why should I even bother struggling to decide what rating to give something that doesn’t feel worth rating at all?
❌spoiler minor❌
A blunder worth mentioning: The villain says that he found out the female lead (FL) is the male lead’s (ML) weakness when they were imprisoned together for 10 years. But this makes no sense. If the villain was imprisoned for those 10 years, and during that same period the FL was being tortured in the mortal world, how could the villain have orchestrated or even been involved in manipulating her pain?
Isn’t that a clear contradiction?
Yes, if there had been some magical element or explanation allowing him to influence things from prison, that would be different. But nothing like that was mentioned or shown. So this stands out as a major writing flaw , a clear plot hole on the writer's part.

Didn’t Sit Right With Me
I've already watched a lot of vertical and short series, so I didn’t have many expectations from the story itself. What I was really hoping for was strong performances from the actors and they did deliver on that front. The cast is talented, and they portrayed their characters well. However, when it came to execution, I had certain expectations, and that’s where things fell short. Sometimes the writing felt plain stupid, making me question if the drama was even worth continuing.
For example, why was the female lead shown sympathizing with the evil female lead who had wronged her? That didn’t sit right with me. Also, when the female lead suddenly revealed her secret to the male lead, it didn’t feel natural it came out of nowhere and lacked flow.
The male lead’s sudden attraction to the female lead also felt rushed, probably a result of limited time. But it didn’t feel organic.
some places i felt FL was lacked in performance.
Even the kiss scene felt forced, like the actors were trying hard not to touch each other and just doing it because the director told them to not because it made sense for the characters.
All in all, I’m dropping this one. It just didn’t work for me.

Playing It Safe Won’t Always Save K-Dramas
K-Drama by the BookAfter Episode 1, it’s clear: this is your typical South Korean rom-com meets ghost story a familiar and safe blend. As usual, Korea plays it by the book. Nothing here will frustrate you, but it won’t excite you either. It’s just another average, run-of-the-mill drama. The ingredients and packaging may look new, but the flavor? Same old.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Dragging Buildup
By Episode 3, I can confidently say this drama is headed toward being boring. Episodes are unnecessarily stretched each one lasting around 70 minutes over a 12-episode format, likely to mimic the runtime of the classic 16-episode, 40–45 minute structure. But instead of being engaging, it feels slow and dragging. It takes too long to get to the point.
Honestly, this drama could’ve easily been wrapped up in 6 to 8 hours. If all this buildup doesn’t lead to a major twist or substantial plot development in the upcoming episodes, it’s going to fall flat boring, frustrating, and ultimately a waste of time.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Survive 5 Episodes ,Episode 6 Will Hook You
After watching the 8th episode, I can now say that the first three episodes mainly served as the foundation or buildup of the story laying down the threads, building the world, and introducing the characters. Because of this, they didn’t feel particularly interesting or engaging. There wasn’t a strong hook to push me forward or make me eager to continue.
In my opinion, the story starts unfolding from episode 4, and that’s when the actual engaging moments begin. From here on, you start getting drawn in. By the 6th episode, any doubts I had about whether I was wasting my time were gone.
To be honest, I barely got through the first three episodes they felt like a typical, slow-paced rom com ghost shaman Korean drama with nothing exciting that made me want to watch happily or stay invested. Yes, this is a regular, typical Korean drama which is probably why it took me a while to get into it. I’ve watched a lot of Korean dramas, so this one initially felt a bit repetitive and predictable. It didn’t feel fresh or new. That’s why it didn’t grab my interest right away. But I was curious to see how the FL (female lead) would save the ML (male lead), and I also wanted to know more about the ghost storyline. So I told myself I’d watch just two more episodes (4 and 5), and if they didn’t pull me in, I’d drop the show.
Thankfully, I gave it that chance, and I’m glad I did because those two episodes changed everything. They engaged me enough to keep going. Episodes 6, 7, and 8 made me realize that while this may still be a typical Korean drama in many ways, it’s also entertaining. It doesn’t feel frustrating or boring anymore.
Episodes 6 to 8 are the turning point they mark the real beginning of the story’s emotional depth. These episodes are beautiful, emotional, cute, funny, and meaningful. When I was in the middle of the first three episodes, I wasn’t even considering recommending this show to anyone. By episode 5, I was still unsure 50-50. But after watching episodes 6, 7, and 8, I can now recommend it without hesitation.
now i can say it is definitely good. You’ll enjoy it, and I think you’ll grow to love it.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The Drama Finally Had My Attention ,Then Lost It Again
From Episode 9, the show falls back into its earlier tone and pacing the same average, okay-ish feel it had before Episode 6. But Episode 10 takes a complete nosedive it’s ridiculous, illogical, full of errors, and riddled with plot holes.
Take General Dongcheon for example. She’s trying to save Yeom Hwa, someone who, in her stubbornness, is causing destruction to everything around her. And what’s the justification? An emotional connection? Seeing her as a daughter? That makes no sense. So you're willing to put the lives of many at risk just to save one person you're emotionally attached to? What about all the others you’re also connected to? Is loyalty to one individual worth endangering the majority?
And then there’s Pyo Ji Ho why he involve at all? He knows absolutely nothing about magic or shamanism, yet he put himself right in the middle of it and even he take the ring to deliver to the evil shaman. What purpose does that serve, other than creating unnecessary risk?
Bong Su’s erratic behavior towards his classmates and coach also feels forced and out of place. Whether Bong Su or Bae Gyeon U dies, it shouldn’t affect them so deeply they were never that emotionally connected to him or i say they don't know about the two personality so how can they connect with it . His extreme reaction feels unjustified.
Also, didn’t the General already perform a ritual to strip Yeom Hwa of all her shamanic powers? Then how is she still able to summon the Grim Reaper? That completely breaks the internal logic of the show.
And why are they all still tiptoeing around Yeom Hwa? Why not just end her story once and for all? Instead, they’re acting like it’s some kind of casual domestic drama, letting the enemy freely come and go from their homes, staying in contact like everything’s normal. It’s absurd they’re literally playing house with someone who has caused immense harm.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Filler
Ep 11 is filler, last few minutes matter.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Mixed Feelings
In Episode 12, I found certain elements to be poorly written, with unnecessary filler scenes that dragged the narrative. For example, the entire sequence where the female lead tries on girls' clothing felt forced and out of place. If the soul inside her is that of a man, any experiments or behavior should logically align with a man's perspective, not a woman's.
Additionally, the way the female lead and her friends constantly live or move in and out of one house felt unrealistic. It’s as if none of them have their own homes, families, or responsibilities. They’re portrayed almost like orphans who have nowhere else to go, which weakens the believability of the story.
That said, some parts were meaningful and did support the overall storyline. There were some emotional moments that were genuinely well done.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Overall
This is an okayish drama overall. It's played K-Drama by the Book, and like many such k drama, it plays things very safe. The show is filled with draggy fillers, unnecessary scenes, and at times, illogical writing though there are a few good moments and decent writing scattered throughout.
The rituals portrayed across the series were initially fascinating and intriguing, but after a point, they became confusing and lost their charm. sometimes the spirit would transfer from one person to another, sometimes powers would vanish suddenly only to reappear without explanation. It felt like every character was either a protective shield for someone else or making a sacrifice, like they were all just playing a game of “passing the ball.”
And honestly, the rattle the shaman uses during the rituals? That’s the kind of toy kids play with in our country couldn't take it seriously, lol.
At first, I wanted to give this drama a zero. But since the platform doesn’t allow a rating below 1, I reluctantly gave it one star. However, around episodes 6 to 8, my interest genuinely picked up, so I changed my rating from 1 to 6. But by episode 9, I found myself reconsidering again. i'm giving this drama higher ratings are doing so purely because of those 2–3 good episodes. Beyond those, everything else felt like filler to me nothing before or after them stood out.
I personally don’t think it's fair to rate an entire drama based on just a few good episodes, especially when the rest of it didn’t work at all. Unfortunately, there's no way to rate only those specific episodes, so I’m stuck giving the whole show a number I don’t feel fully reflects my opinion.

Writting Ruinned The Show
🎭Why I Hit PlayI had previously watched another drama featuring this pair, so I was curious to see them again in this one.
🎭Plot Summary
The female lead (FL) is killed by her fiancé and stepsister. She is reborn and meets the male lead (ML).
🎭What I Liked
The romantic and intimate scenes between the lead couple were good.
Their on-screen look good and chemistry is good.
The ML’s character is the only thing holding this drama together. He has the style, attitude, and charisma to dominate the screen.
His character is well-written: he’s smart, emotionally mature, and completely devoted to the FL.
He’s the only truly lovable character in the drama, showing strong decision-making and consistent loyalty.
🎭What I Didn't Like
The writer made several major mistakes. The story felt meaningless and lacked a clear motive.
Too many themes were crammed into one show rebirth, child exchange, toxic greedy families, hidden identity/CEO, one-night stand, evil second male lead (2ML), and the scheming stepsister etc.
Things kept changing every 5–10 minutes, it didn’t even feel like I was watching the same drama.
Because of all these subplots, the narrative failed to stay focused or make sense.
Repeatative plot.
The FL was bullied, kidnapped, almost raped, nearly assaulted, or harmed multiple times, which made her rebirth feel pointless. She didn’t grow or gain control over her fate.
Her family appeared in the beginning but then conveniently disappeared from the storyline.
The ML’s family was just toxic and greedy throughout.
FL have trust issue, and give unnessary tantrum.
The ML tried to punish or even kill the 2ML 5–6 times, but the FL kept stopping him every single time making her character seem frustratingly naive and irrational.
Main leads are good performer but writting ruinned the show.
🎭Final Verdict
The drama had potential, especially thanks to the ML and the lead couple’s chemistry. But poor writing, chaotic plotlines, and an overly victimized FL ruined the overall experience.

Booked for passionate romance game , Landed in family drama
🎥 First ImpressionsI clicked on this drama mainly because of Cheng Cheng. And honestly, the very first scene and its description were enough to hook me. It starts with an intimate moment and immediately reveals that the female lead is sleeping with her boyfriend’s twin brother. That twist alone raises so many questions why is she doing this, and how did it happen? Definitely an attention-grabber from the start.
📖 What to Expect
If you're into passionate romance, this drama offers good kissing scenes and an intense love game dynamic. The early episodes are bold, emotionally charged, and full of tension between the characters.
🎭 Characters & Acting
The male lead delivered a strong and convincing performance you can clearly feel his emotions. The female lead, on the other hand, felt a bit lacking in some scenes. However, their chemistry together was still enjoyable and believable, especially in the romantic moments.
❤️ What I Loved
I especially loved the male lead’s performance and the bold, well-done kissing scenes. He carried many of the emotional moments, and his expressions were on point. The romantic tension was one of the show’s strongest elements.
😐 What Didn’t Work for Me
The biggest letdown was the shift in the storyline. It started with a thrilling love game between the two twin brothers and the female lead but halfway through, the plot suddenly changed to a completely different angle involving family rivalry and a lost daughter. That shift felt disconnected. Also, the scumbag twin didn’t face any real consequences or even show guilt in right amount , which made the something incomplete.
✅ Final Verdict
Overall, it’s a good drama at least in the first half, when it sticks to its original theme. The love triangle and bold romantic tension were gripping, but the sudden plot change in the second half took away some of its impact. Still, worth watching for the performances and emotional drama.

ReverseTwist, Some Flaws and Newness not a bad combination
📝 Summary:1. The story is a familiar one: A scumbag character believes they are fully capable of building their own future independently, dismissing the main character who loves them blindly and supports them silently. This support, however, is never acknowledged. The twist begins when both characters are reborn but this time, they choose paths completely opposite to their previous lives. The scumbag remains one because they think they don’t need anyone, and the main character realizes they had misplaced their love and wasted their passion on the wrong person.
2. A reverse twist is used here: unlike typical dramas where the Female Lead (FL) and Second Male Lead (2ndML) are reborn, in this story, it's the Male Lead (ML) and the Second Female Lead (2ndFL) who get a second chance at life.
3. The drama introduces refreshing elements: especially through the FL’s character an emotionally intelligent, independent woman who refuses to be bullied and knows how, where, and when to invest her energy and emotions.
💭 What I Liked:
→ The entire cast delivered strong performances.
→The chemistry between the main couple is genuinely compelling.
→ The family dynamic is heartwarming , supportive and loving.
→ FL’s character stands out: she’s practical, emotionally mature, and strong-willed, a true modern woman.
😕 What Could Be Better:
→The ML feels like he's orbiting around the FL without a life or identity of his own. As a businessman, we should’ve seen him at his workplace, cracking deals, making bold moves, something that adds depth to his character beyond just being a devoted husband.
→The rebirth trope can be tiring especially when it gives the scumbag character repeated opportunities to disrupt everyone’s lives.
→ It would’ve been more satisfying if, post-rebirth, the two leads never crossed paths again, and the scumbag learned their lessons naturally through life not through being corrected or “fixed” by the main character. That would’ve made the story feel more realistic and grounded.
👍 Final Thoughts:
Overall, this is a good drama if you're willing to overlook the repeated interference of the scumbag character. The chemistry between the leads and the warmth of the family keep the story emotionally engaging.

puppy love
Mild spoiler! There seems to be a major inconsistency regarding the lead characters' ages, either due to a writing error or a subtitle mistake. The male lead is currently 22 years old, while the female lead is 32. It's mentioned that they first met 10 years ago, which would mean he was only 12 and she was 22 at the time. However, this doesn't match the storyline, as their past interactions clearly depict them as being much closer in age, not a child and an adult.
It's the classic concept: when someone is in your life, you often fail to value them. But once they’re gone, you realize their worth. Unfortunately, this creates an opportunity for someone else, someone who has always loved them sincerely and wants to cherish them for a lifetime, to step in and win their heart.
I believe both male leads are of the same age, so the dynamic of seniority or junior status doesn’t come through naturally. The casting should have been done more thoughtfully to clearly reflect the intended age and hierarchy differences.
Overall, the drama is quite enjoyable. The couple shares a sweet relationship, it's that innocent, heartwarming kind of puppy love.
Mentionable things : FL and ML mother is good.

Parents : Guardians of Guilt and Extend of Love
Movie Summary: IN FEW POINTS1. Perspective on Justice: As long as wrongdoings affect others, they often go unnoticed. However, when the tables turn, it suddenly feels like a grave injustice.
2. Karma's Play: The movie emphasizes that you will inevitably reap what you sow.
3. Unconditional Parental Love: Parents' love for their children knows no bounds, even when those children have strayed down dark paths.
4. The Power of Influence: The film illustrates how bad company can lead even a good person astray.
5. Cost of Meddling: Never interfere in others' affairs, or you may end up facing the consequences.
6. Unexpected Twists: The story unfolds in a straightforward manner, but two pivotal twists elevate it to another level: one involving a parent’s encounter with a store lady and the other being the twist at the end. These moments transform the movie into something truly memorable.
7. A Critique of Professional Portrayals: One lingering complaint is the film's portrayal of professions or organizations, which often disregards the actual rules and regulations tied to them.
Overall, this is a compelling movie that everyone should watch.
