In Bilibili, I usually just copy and paste the drama title and input the episode number next to it to find. Cannot click to enlarge viewing unless we are from the same country of this platform, China. So on my mobile, I just pinch in to enlarge my screen without clicking the platforms full screen mode. Once click any addition features/ button will trigger the platform to stop all viewing unless youāre also from China.
I believe these are called minidramas, and I also wish there would be an easier way to search for new ones to…
It depends on each personās liking reallyā¦But since itās so short, itās worth exploring. Even if not your cup of tea can just stop without having spending too much time ya š For me, it was nice & enjoyable.
I mean, who dares to speak out about big shots or superiors who sexually assaulted and/ or harassed them for the fear of being ostracized and losing their jobs. Whatās more when nondisclosure agreement is signed, will have legal implications to the victim who speaks out.
Short drama are easy to bingeā¦and itās plus point when watching this makes me smiling to myself during the sweet happy moments.
Both FL & ML is fresh (first time Iām watching their works) and FL feels more experienced in her portraying of the characters, her micro expressions are good, and at some point it appears to me she resembles S.H.E. Selinaās vibes and looks (at a glimpse). Like how her character here is steadfast, knows what she wants and pursue it at her bestā¦indeed not the kind of damsel in distress crying or waiting for knight to rescue. She can very well rescue herself if within her strength/ power.
ML has that freshness in his acting but at times his micro expressions a bit lacking, i did rewind few scenes to rewatch (best part about short drama, much more time for me to do such movesā¦lol) whereby especially his chuckles (yeah itās difficult to portray the feeling of mischievous smile yet in positive way nothing fishy or devious but yet need to express āI nailed itā sorta thing) aināt too convincing. And after watching him here, thinking maybe he could look better in period drama where layers of clothing can make his body ratio more balanced and appealing. At some point, his eyes and some moments does resembles Chen Xiao (best in A Dream of Splendor, 2022) vibes and hope ML can do better than this drama as he has the looks for it.
2MLās acting feels weird for his characterā¦understandable heās a mama boy in here but maybe his looks is so sunshiny with smiling face (yea noticed his face is all smiling bright eyes etc despite in scenes need to be showing doubtful to his wife!) that itās not convincing heās such an airhead with no self logic for his relationship dealings (7yrs with FL and just split up on a whim and marries 2FL just like that?! I know itās short drama but gotta be convincing right) and unable to decipher whatās right or wrongā¦at best, I think all his expression throughout the drama is being puzzled with everything around himā¦.glad he got the looks that kept me looking despite acting mismatch the character.
Good to watch this short production when in between errands and to get some small peaks at the end of a busy day. The villain parts arenāt lengthy hence not giving any unpleasant feeling, so itās just feel good throughout the drama : )

Probably if you like the story setting in the Republican Era (where thereās warlords, similar to Maid's Revenge) you may wanna check out Provoke (serious, romance). Itās a nice short drama, engaging story, good acting and nice OSTs : ) itās still in my head despite watching mths ago..lol

Wowā¦now that you mentioned, yeah true! Didnāt expect tht bcos the secretary guy character is well portrayed and heās just 17y/o and I do think he was doing quite a good job with outstanding expressions for many slapstick momentsā¦sometimes his expression is even more natural than his boss (ML)ā¦lolš¤£
Oh after few mths Iām still coming back here to see if any other similar drama genre is being introduced by other viewersā¦Provokeās OST is so catchy that the tune is still my head until today and I play it on & off over YTubeā¦lolš¤£

As usual I opine ZX never disappoints on portraying her character in this dramaā¦Like how she (and director) slowly reveals her past emotional wounds when she faces this case with similarity to her younger self.
JL seems well portraying her character here, being the wishy-washy victim that couldnāt speak out her mindā¦I do think this character despite flawed (with insecurities and moments of greed on the luxuries, stability that the rich boss tempted her with, causing her crossroads and uncertain of her true wants in life) is somehow what a lot of people are facing in society day in day outā¦our voices can seem so small that even if spoken out loud may cause disbelief or being disastrous results to oneself, hence dare not speak out at allā¦thinking of burying true thoughts bringing it to the coffin!
Many different characters stories of being oppressed and abused in this drama, regardless emotional and even physically and yet unable to stand up for themselves to defend whatās right or wrong. In the eyes of law, most grey areas/ points is often seen as insincerity or deceitful of the victimā¦although thereās the clause of giving benefit of doubt to the victims but other factors does contribute to this ābenefitā being stripped off from the victims.
Voices of the public is another strong point being brought up in this dramaā¦given todayās society many public voices are overtly concerned being morale police despite only having pieces of information gathered from online discussions and/ or unknown source leaks under the pretense of intel from justice aboveā¦.may unknowingly harmed the victim itself by itsā viral strength! Glad the director or script writer has this point included into the drama as somehow a mental note/ mirror effect to audience to be more skeptical on information found online, not to overtly react on it.
Appreciate how this drama is plotted and at some point it does makes my heart cry for our few female characters for having to go through such scarred life experience despite in todays modern world. We have evolved much more than our ancestors but yet thereās still unspoken rule of discrimination and abuse happening at some workplace, some homes (places called home but could be a hell to live in!) and anywhere around the worldā¦Hope more people can get exposure to such genre not only for entertainment purposes but to have a glimpse of how to have somewhat empathy onto othersā¦as we will never know what others have experienced hence not to play judge onto anyoneās life.

Short watch of fluffy romance (at some point FL seems head-over-heels with ML) with reversal role (FL is left/ right hand of the emperor, so she holds high rank position and supposedly level headed when on duty).
First time Iām seeing works of ML and indeed upon checking this is actually his debut drama and so is 2ML. But for debut am quite surprised with the many kiss scenes and skinship with FL (usually actor/ actress cld be unwilling to be more revealing on screen especially not when first time debut!)ā¦.and at times I think itās kinda unnecessary to be so cringey touchy (itās period drama so a bit weird especially the scene whereby FL put her hand into MLās loosely wore top to caress his chestāokay it was seen just placing hand inside his top while pretended caressing and it is the thought/ message sheās trying to showcase onlyāwhile trying to fool the guards with the alibi to keep him) but am thinking if for this scene the director/ producer is trying to attract more fan base and get attention to boost ratings!
Rest of the background story isnāt detailed nor with general sense of rationale (yea, just close all our morale police or logical sense and sit back to just enjoy the drama!) but okay to overlook it for the sake of this is a short drama and we get to watch pretty boy MLās clingy & loyal love to FL..being a fan of romance genre, thatās probably the reason I stayed on to watch until the very end. Ending is rushed, what the heck, itās short drama so yes can understand. Just wished it could be longer and more development but hey what can I say moreā¦itās considerably good for newbies as debut.

I think this is the latest trend that nowadays city folks are rushing to work, busyness in lifeā¦so they came…
Undeniably city folks are being overworked to the extent of losing themselves each dayā¦i too have friends who migrated to other western countries (somewhere that the herds of cows and other livestocks are even more ratio than human population!) thatās more laidback to have slow pace in lifeā¦but then of course not everyone has this luxury to be selective in their pace of life, given the background (both family and financial related) weāve been born with.
Strangest thing is that we humans can be very adaptive to life to the extent of creating such super short drama to have momentarily perks in lifeāaway from the hustle & bustle of city pressures and work stress, etc. I donāt blame the current culture as this is how evolved our human population is, but I do appreciate the effort that different types of drama length is created to fulfil the needs and demands of the society, as though itās a new norm.
I do agree that itās choppy editing (at some point Iām glad we have the same POV) however itās acceptable for me and guess this is the likes of current society with short clips postings, reels etc being daily dose of momentarily enjoyment being created not solely due to low budget but highly likely itās the todayās trend of the newer generationsā¦lolš¤£š¤£
P.S. Actually I lived by the generations of watching super long episodes of drama (i.e. A Kindred Spirit with 1,000+ episodes) those whereby camera position is very still & uprightā¦but am glad Iāve also come by to accept this new changes in drama production worldā¦it seems weird at first but along the lines only if we donāt measure/ compare these new against the older methodology, it isnāt too bad at all!)
