Title No Secrets Spoiler
I was super excited when found this drama online as i enjoyed watching the Kdrama, I Hear Your Voice (IHYV) back…
Hmm…I quick rewatched IHYV clips and realized there’s more feel in the origin despite the romance content much lesser than Cdrama adaptation..probably bcos of the attention to details.

For instance, the scene where main leads sweet moments of sharing hospital bed…yes it’s more logical sense in Kdrama whereby ML to climb onto same bed with FL for quick hug together instead of in Cdrama whereby ML gets another bedding (for overnight stay!?) next to FL’s bed to hold hands (this is no-no regardless of which hospital bcos in reality at most only get the extra bedding that’s much lower than the patient’s bed!)

There’s also the part where ML informing FL got some markings on her face and FL just use her finger to get some saliva from her own mouth to wipe off the marking…this could be seen as unhygienic but hey it’s quite usual for ppl to do that when on their ownself or could be casually doing in front of anyone they are comfortable with, so this movement shows how casual she is with him (not as love interest at the time). But in Cdrama adaptation, she only rubs it with her fingers and for all we know marking (pen marks) on face will not be erased by simple rubbing,

Like how Kdrama whereby ML purposely misunderstood FL when she’s gesturing about his face having markings or dirtied and he just kiss her on his cheeks and oops he just made a face to show he innocently mistook her message. Whereas in Cdrama it looks a bit awkward when ML did it…bcos he doesn’t have the face that looks innocent enough to get away with this trick! Lol..it’s like sometimes someone looking innocent can easily get away with a crime but Cdrama’s ML looks more maturity & level headed that won’t be convincing for me.

Title No Secrets Spoiler
I was super excited when found this drama online as i enjoyed watching the Kdrama, I Hear Your Voice (IHYV) back then. However, I must confess the first half of the drama im a bit skeptical of the drama execution bcos the Korean version’s ML is still very strong in my memory…sometimes I feel in this China adaption, it seems like ML Jin Han is trying to imitate the pose, eye expressions (even the blowing of fringe…I remember Lee Jong Suk did a lot of it back then bcos his fringe is covering his eyes and he looks cute when blows it up really moves like he’s showing his playfulness yet during some helpless situations…but for Jin Han his hairstyle for this character although fringe is covering his eyes but when he blows, it doesn’t move a bit…so it’s quite obvious is copying the movement but to me, it didn’t create the attention or effect😅) hence I didn’t quite follow his portraying of the character but instead tend to seek my memory if this is another one of LJS’s best movements that director trying to imitate again.

TBH, I think first impression does create a bias…so for anyone who hadn’t watch IHYV before this Cdrama, pls just carry on watching this first so won’t have the craved memory of the original version, unlike me! But ofc, do check out the Kdrama version for its worth it!

Personally I do feel LJS suits the character more bcos ML is supposed to be younger than FL and LJS looks obviously makes it way more believable than Jin Han as ML in here. FL Qi Wei is very fit and well preserved that when she’s beside ML sometimes it doesn’t occur to me he’s younger than her at all…I can accept that FL seems childish when alone with ML (sometimes lovers will show their true bubbly self when with someone they fancy/ love) but when ML’s appearance is somehow more matured so when he makes those cute looks it doesn’t quite suit him…when LJS did those cute looks it is really cute ya😂

Only when second half of the drama whereby the script is slightly different than the Korean version, I sorta feel ML got his own aura (away from LJS’s shadow) and the story begin to take off on its own tracks. However, the law cases seems a bit lengthy maybe bcoz it wasn’t as exciting as the Kdrama version…sometimes I find myself fast forwarding the cases as I kinda know what’s it about. However, I enjoy the case summary where they wrap up for final judgement…especially when arrive to the point about giving benefit of doubts to the defendant! It was very well said and touching! FL’s emotions and expressions are very well executed! And ML’s teary eyes (especially when being provoked by the bad guy) with red blood shots also evoked very strong emotional scenes for me!

Romance part is good..got quite a lot of good kisses between main leads (at times it makes me feel wow…can FL’s husband accept this, bcos I’ve watched FL & her husband’s sweet couple reality show previously…btw, her Korean husband is really cute & talented…he went on Call Me By Fire S2 and was awesome performance!! For a second, I did think why didn’t the production team invite his husband to act as ML here as he looks good looking as well as even much younger than JH…lol..😂I hope JH fans won’t loathe me for saying this..)

Personally I do think if the episodes is shorten to 16 or 24 would be much better than 32! Lol

P.S. I think in China recently the general public prefers ML characters to be more masculine-like handsome guy, unlike Korea tends to prefer fair-looking-skin, pretty looking guy that even when they wear cutesy aprons of feminine stuffs won’t be intimidated at all. Hence, LJS is suitable for the Kdrama origins as it shows the age gap of love between a boy & a woman, while JH for adaption in this Cdrama more like a guy and a woman.

what happens to that professor? is he found to be the reason why that male student committed suicide?
yes, the professor is the reason (abusing his powers to make students overworked for his research apart from their graduation FYP) behind the student’s death. Must watch the case summary/ wrap up being well done by FL…it’s touching the way she said the points and all.

Fluffy & light-hearted romcom with on-point chemistry. Both leads gave excellent & organic performances that made…
hmm…may I confirm there’s only 3 kisses for main leads for this entire 24 episode x 30mins each? Bcos I just chanced upon this drama from YouTube and that’s where there were 2kisses (one during in sofa rolled to floor, one outdoor under somewhere looks like miniature of Paris’ Arc de Triomphe) displayed already…oh my, then that’s all is it? 🤔😅

I’m a fan of romance genre, hence looking for good chemistry dramas : )

Agree, K-dramas could learn from them how to kiss and ending was strange and felt unfinished.
Mind sharing if the ending is a cliffhanger? But even if so, was it happy ending or sad ending (which I hope not!)😅

Ohh I didn’t know LLTG’s origin is time traveling novel. Actually I haven’t watch it despite it’s in my bucket list for ages! The ending was HE right? But I heard the romance part isn’t much as a good balance of other stuffs.

Title From Past with Love Spoiler
Hmm…it’s okay to watch…there’s story background, travel from novel world (wuxia) to today’s modern reality world…I do think the director and scriptwriter had been doing their best to bring the story to live but alas, it still feels lack of something…which I think is probably the passion of both main leads. Yes they did all the stuffs that most couples should do, or should I say there’s parts whereby period age ML picks up the tactics to make modern world FL ‘s heart skip a beat…poses are right, sequences seems fine, kisses are there…but just the something that I couldn’t describe wasn’t quite there yet.😅 Comparatively I’ve watched quite a lot of short dramas and some can pull through the romance part with passion despite short & low budget production but for this just missed that.

Anyhow, this is okay to watch if you wanna have some light hearted short drama (just 3.5 hrs in total) with love story to tell...

P.S. At some point I think FL looks a bit like Liang Jie or with her vibes…and maybe bcos Liang Jie is my bias so I’ve watched this until the end : )

Ohh okay..,will try to see if resume MQ😅

Yea…they banned time travel drama but it becomes rather strange when producer tries to get the pass the censorship and ban so they just slot in to say it’s all a dream etc…making the drama ending weirdly done just like the recent drama I’ve watched. Oh well, to avoid youngsters from jumping off bridges or doing all sorts of stuffs to harm themselves (killing off this life to make way for alternate life etc) with the thinking really can time travel…Actually same goes to reincarnation..maybe soon Korean side might ban this type of scripts to avoid people from being delusional 🤣🤣

Never Give Up seems like a good watch but is there any romance for Dylan in it? I seen a few short clips on YouTube but it seems like the storyline is a bit scattered here and there…Btw, is the ending happy? Just hope no cliffhanger 😅

Can’t wait to know how’s Only For Love’s ending if HE or SE…Yea, strangely why so many hate reviews..puzzles me..thot of watching this once the ending is out as wld like to binge it only if it’s good : )

Now tht you’re pointed it out..oh it’s so true! I didn’t realize too…maybe it’s more challenging and…
Ohh thanks for the heads up…will wait for Season 2 before starting any of it…as couldn’t bear getting stuck halfway when no proper ending 😅

Sometimes I can withstand dead-fish-kisses or peck-on-cheeks-feather-lite-kisses…if the story is pretty good or something else to focus on (aesthetically pleasing leads or good background scenery) but TBH most of the time lacking of romance could kill off the urge to continue especially when it’s not short drama…

Abt My Queen (MQ) …actually I’m a fan of humor, time traveling and most of all romance genres…I know it could be a bit challenging bcos some drama either with humor but no good romance, or vice versa so it’s not easy to find a good combination in a single drama. In MQ I remember now tht I didn’t feel the romance of FL maybe bcos she’s a he and while watching the drama, it feels weird to ship for them as a heterosexual couple but if to think they are homo it isn’t the case either…so not too sure how to position my thoughts to get into the romance part of it. Pls don’t get me wrong I don’t have any bias on hetero or homo or LBGTQX…just strangely I didnt feel it’s so enticing to finish. However, i did watched the Chinese adaption (Go Princess, Go!) whereby ZTA & Peter stark contrast as main lead couple was fun to watch and the obvious low production of background and costume was funny for laughs (imagine short yet flowing like silk/ scarf like material for the men’s attire…in the age of period drama…what a sight! 🤣) Btw, was MQ ending good as well? Happy ending or cliffhanger ya?

I enjoyed everything of this drama, romance included! Best cdrama ever! If you already like Dylan Wang, after…
Wow you’re right! LBFAD was awesome! I’ve just updated my phone wallpaper with the artist impression of both main leads captured moments..😂 so sweet…I noticed although their kisses in this drama weren’t those passionate to the extent of rolling in the sheets but the chemistry is great enough for me to feel the story and feel sad (especially tearing up when they part ways) when they cannot be together due to various burdening reasons and yet silently yearning for each other…suddenly I forgot Dylan’s character in UL and immerse in this character of his…the power of good script, acting and editing works…Am happy I didn’t give up on this drama🤣

P.S. Also liked the off-drama-chemistry both main leads have during variety shows, social media LIVE and other promotion campaigns of this drama…can see their hardwork while enjoying the job together! Good pairing!

Hey thanks @Suz_Suz a lot for the encouragement…At first I couldn’t quite bear with her voice to the extent of finding it annoying but when I got hooked up with the story (and you’re right—Dylan is really glorious in this!!) and all i practically binge watched this within 2 solid days! OMG…it’s awesome! After getting into the story, at some point (almost 30+ episodes if not mistaken) seeing how FL suddenly matured overnight and no more jumpy little fairy around it was a bit too not used to it really! 😂 FL seems much better being the bumble-bee-like-character that brings humor and joy to everyone around her (even if with high pitchy voice!lol) At tht point really wished for her bubbly young fairy self to return to ML’s side once again!

Now it’s been just two days after ended the whole drama but am feeling the void within! Any good works of Dylan can recommend? Am checking out his latest drama but seems like it hasn’t been finish airing yet.

This season is honestly the best season for me. Everyone has such nice personalities and always supporting each…
IMHO last episode was the best for me…I am trying to get into the groove to follow this season’s episodes but somehow I feel something is lacking from the Season 2 in terms of brotherhood, strongly forged teamwork, after work (stage performances) connections among each other, emotional support cross teams, seeing their off screen personalities also as great (martial arts expert can do embroidery sewing, some are warm at heart despite a heavy metal like rocker image on stage, their motivating perseverance despite various hardships, 360degrees involvement as most of their wife’s (even participated as guest star, guest host and encouraging attendees) and family support, etc etc) some indescribable on screen chemistry (brotherhood) they have shared together with us audience also able to sense it.

I couldn’t speak for this season 3 as I haven’t watch most of it. If you don’t mind, can pls share which episodes in this season it’s more ‘best’ like you mentioned…as really hope I didn’t missed out on something that could be equally as nice as the last one : )

Mr Queen was nice at the beginning but I haven’t managed to finish it…couldn’t remember what was stopping me back then but it’s been quite a while so didn’t really wanna rewatch from start…will probably continue whenever can when the urge comes again🤣

Title Mr. & Mrs. Chen Spoiler
If you want a drama that resembles "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" much more than this one, try "The Killer Is Also Romantic"!!…
Yaya… The Killer Is Also Romantic an awesome watch! I came in here to read some reviews…hoping this is another similar genre of couple being lovers and yet spies or undercovers…a bit worried when seeing the review of many saying it’s not exactly up to Mr & Mrs Smith level😅and with little romance. Is there really nothing that makes heart skip a beat ya?
