Yes you can give The Tunnel a try…good acting skills as ML having almost 85% of screen time…similar to the likes of Tom Hanks’ Cast Away kinda movie…excellent solo acting : )

I’ve suddenly become a fan of Dylan Wang after watching a few of his drama (Unchained Love, then I moved backwards to watch The Rational Life) and now am still having the aftermath syndrome…am thinking if shd watch this, Love Between Fairy & Devil…I’ve checked out the trailer but FL’s voice is a bit disturbing for me…too high pitchy dubbed sound (she didn’t sound like this in real life, as seen in most variety shows) and ML is so cool all the time…is their romance passionate enuf to make us like the drama? Anyone can pls share if you enjoyed the romance part of this drama…as I’m a fan of romance genres…hehe

Equally happy to see Wang OK and Li Tian Ze being real couple after the competition…at first I’m a bit slow to catch their brewing passion for each other and was feeling weird when she talks to him a bit girly (at tht time I thot why is she talking as though is his gf kinda style) and then voila about the ending few episodes and special editions then only I can see & feel their expressive love for one another! Lol 😂 Just saw the Tik Tok clip whereby they kissed during dinner (I think it’s the event’s appreciate dinner or something) to officiate their relationship to everyone in the event…which was so sweet…Even more, during one of their social media LIVE they keep kissing each other to fulfil fan service (public request) and it was totally sweetness overload! I don’t really bother that others (even the team of sideline judges or producer I think) was questioning why is she doing this onscreen (meaning expressively on their romance during the competition) as though for publication and fame bcoz at the end of the day, love sometimes happens when we least expect it to be….and only time can tell whether it’s worth it and only the couple themselves can know! 😊

Wow…really dramatic…I mean it’s basically karma…ML killed this random jealousy guy and ending he got killed by the guy’s revengeful gf…hope I got the plotline right😅 Hmm…it’s a dark movie. Bcos ‘The Tunnel’ at least the ML is someone positive and upright worthy of our vouch to watch…but this ML is negative character, am undecided if I wanna watch it as didn’t really wanna support a negative character as might end up feeling bleak…lol
Yes, it’s sweet story but ain’t those whereby sweetness overload..😅 IMHO there could be even better chemistry…certainly the story is simple sweet—about young nothings budding love during high school—and I do enjoy the background setup and all. However, the main leads even though couldn’t have any kiss (yes I can understand since their love story are type where pure first love with minimum skinship) but couldn’t there be a peck on the cheeks for love expressions, or at least hold hands can’t they. I mean why the 2ML & 2FL (class monitor) can come visit ML while both holding hands together once confirmed their couplehood but yet our main leads are showing such reserved personalities🤔 I do notice the movie setup is in much earlier years maybe 1999 as about China’s first rocket launched to space…but people back then aren’t exactly Stone Age era…lol
Probably I might’ve been brainwashed by Kdrama world whereby watching a movie will also cause my heart to skip a beat…as this isn’t the case for this movie.
I did some quick search on FL past movies (then remembered she was in Jackie Chan’s recent movie as his character’s daugther) , she seemed quite fresh and new while ML I’ve seen him in other dramas (Go Ahead is still nice as i rewatched, and Find Yourself) before whereby there’s good chemistry with his co-acting FL back then with nice kisses and skinship. Hence, I’m just guessing maybe this movie’s FL is still newbie and didn’t really wanna have her first on screen kiss yet (yes that’s a big thing for Asian celebrities)…
We always love a happy ending. But I guess the FL was just so hurt so many times in the past so she prefers to…

This is indeed a sad situation and helpless family background for FL but I do think she got this Stockholm Syndrome…although ML didn’t capture her but he was trying to molest/ rape her which is also considered under this syndrome once she likes him

Not to sure if you’ve watched Tunnel (2016) korean movie, it was good for me although the main actor carried the entire movie almost 85% alone…but yes, it’s nice to watch and doesn’t feel boring at all. How about this Manhole if comparatively is it something like that, one main lead carrying the whole story and not boring to watch?

There’s love triangle at the beginning as I can recall the 2FL being a fan girlie towards ML and chasing him around everywhere he goes..but in the end she realized ML’s heart isn’t for her and she still remains to treat him and his beau (FL) with good mannerisms. No worries, it isn’t any of those heart wreaking scenes where get on audience nerves…it’s very mild and I guess just to show how popular ML is! Lol
The chemistry between both leads is worth watching, alongside with the rest of the supporting characters : )
