Let me get this…No kiss…Absolutely, no kiss…Not even 2 yellow birds…This was drier than “The Long Ballad.”
oh my…mind sharing if 39 episodes until final now that’s if no kiss at all? just wld like some heads up to know what to expect if totally no skinship, no kisses…this drama could’ve been abt subtle love for each other? even lovey eye gazing, hopefully if any? 😅else won’t know how it can be two sided love for each other…lol
1. Happy Ending, : Yes. just too much sugar for me.2. Good Acting : Yes. the main lead really nail it. and so…
Hi @danny_ang, I’ve just finished binge watching the whole drama…it’s nice drama but am a bit puzzled in the last episode. As I noticed you’re the only person who mentioned #4 acceptable for it’s good logic…mind sharing why all the rest of the people whom FL met before can retain their memory of her but only she herself doesn’t remember a single thing not just the past but current life as well?🤔🤔 it beats me to know…
I tried thinking hard if I’ve missed out anything but the 1st life man frm the shrine did told her once she does this move (to untie the knots within her heart, to resolve the curse and put a stop to erase all her past memories of previous lifetimes and future ones won’t be remembered exceeding her lifetime) then the rest of the people whom she had approached as belong to her previous lifetime will be spared of misfortunes (or sudden death due to unknown reasons). How come all of them can remember what role or things she had been thru with them, whereas her memory is completely rebooted like a PC…
Very strange…as most of the reincarnation genre I’ve watched will have somewhat logic behind tht we audience can easily pick up the storyline. However, this drama seems different in this logic sense.
Any idea if this will be released in cinema/ theater for Asian countries? Seems like only Netflix and online has it…was thinking it’s Jackie Chan’s action movie hence wanting to watch on big silver screen😂
Can someone pls pls share if this drama is… 1. Happy Ending 2. Good Acting 3. Good Chemistry (focus main leads, if other supporting roles are good is bonus points) 4. Good Logic (since it’s tagged as flashback to past & reincarnation, hence gotta make sense…lol) 4. Romance (is it cringey? lovey after watching? or awfully not make sense?)
Hope to have some heads up before diving into it for 14 hours…lol. Thanks : )
Wow…sounds intriguing that I really need to to watch this ya! It’s sad if they can’t be together but from realistic pov could be more believable in this sense.
Thanks so much for your spoiler, now the more I feel like watching it to see for myself their journey together.
Hope you can share more if have any good recommendations of good + happy time traveling genres.
Why are so many recent Chinese dramas only 10-15 minutes long 😞
Probably city folks nowadays are getting lesser time for entertainments and some could be on the rush to work or something and just watch it between stuffs…I seen people watching shorts (production in vertical display) while on train…guess it’s short and sweet to have one episode in one journey. But I’ll rather have all the episodes available and binge it altogether…lol
And ofc another important note is shorter episodes are usually lower budget productions (comparing to those 40, 50, 60 episodes) and easier to produce without having to burn investor pockets!
I’m also looking for happy ending time traveling genre. Thanks for sharing…since this isn’t happy ending so might delay watching. But can give a bit more spoiler if FL & ML will die in the end?
Anyways, just my personal view when sometimes feeling too over the cloud, then pick sad endings to balance the life emotions…lol
I’ve watched the 30mins tells-it-all short clip that summarized the entire story (usually I will just watch short clips for movies I’m not too sure I wanna invest all my time into it) and indeed this movie is very bleak but has a true meaning to it, just that no proper ending to it bcos that’s what’s really happening in Korea society now (it’s all over the internet, can google or find on YouTube for documentary real life stories to understand more…even happening in China some crazy companies make ppl work their ass off (no more 9-5 jobbers as those are usually for higher positions of white collars while lower levels of society as suffering) and getting paid measly, also happening in Japan and other places across the globe!
IMHO I think it’s good that whenever a movies tells real storylines like this it brings awareness to the society abt such matters and in hope of some action taken in real life after watching…not solely for entertainment nor solely for artistic representation of life.
Indeed it’s saddening how much pressure today’s generation is going thru…all fresh grads needing to get hold of a good job, then earn to feed themselves…sounds like easy but isn’t especially when battling not just worker’s rights but human rights and earning lesser than the rise of inflation…AI taking over the world by storm now that some occupations also getting replaced by technology and automation, hence human as workforce or labor doesn’t seem as promising as our great grandfather’s era whereby any effort or hardwork will equal to good pay off…now is only the rich getting richer and poor getting poorer era…
After watching this (eventhough I only took ard 30mins) but I’ve entered into deep pondering thoughts of future, what future beholds our generation and the generations after us. But of course the next thing need to do is, find a way for survival amidst all these 😅

If all is released, can someone pls share if the ending was happy? or at least good for the main leads?

Btw, the subtitles are in Mandarin as original language is Cantonese.
