I dropped this when it aired 5 episodes before the end b/c I did not like how his dynamic with the FL changed…
No wonder so many short clips lately on YTâŚI also got hooked with just few mins of the YT clip and scouting ard on reviews just to see if this is worth watching.
Noticed you dropped this drama at first but resumed watchingâŚcan pls spoil me if the ending is good and the romance pulls a string in your heart? (Am hopeful) : )
Wow this is a gemâŚsweetness overload regardless when ML & FL are having underground love and when they have openly announced their love!
Feel good chemistry that really makes my heart skip a beat when watchingâŚactually I just watched 2mins of the 8mins trailer-cum-spoiler and I got hooked with the storyline and their expressions right away to stop the trailer and move on to the real thingâfull mini drama! Itâs short (abt 5hrs long) and I binge watched it within a day (weekend)âŚ.the entire storyline flow doesnât feel long at allâŚjust like a 2hrs movie for me. And does hope it can be longerâŚsince itâs a low budget mini drama still acceptable for the wedding to be no staged out in the drama but verbally done.
One thing isâŚam happy to see the mindset shift in terms of how relationship and love is viewed in todayâs societyâŚand poor mama no need to sacrifice her own love to give way for her daughterâs love. (A bit storyline of family backgroundâthe love between both leadsâ parentâquite similar to the Taiwanese drama, Devil Beside You, which tht was also niceâbut in here the FL seems more independent in terms of her career dare to resign and say no to bad bossy boss, and she does try to take control to be less submissive in the relationship, which I appreciate that todayâs lady shd be less submissive as it takes two to tango!) Should have more drama like thisâŚless conventional restructure family, i wld say.
Enjoy watching the second leads although at first wasnât liking them much but along the lines their existence is good as contrast of how other romance path could be, and eventually main & secondary characters also have their own growth & character development as the story unfolds. Guess it wld be better if slightly longer for more background story of secondary leadsâŚbut ofc then it might risk being lengthy and not the mini drama nowâŚlolâŚJust nice for now, short & sweet ^^

Sometimes I would first watch the trailer before decide to begin spending some hours of my life in watching it fully (without any fast forwarding). Instead of trailer, this time I chanced upon the 30mins-says-it-all clip and after thinking I could fascinated with the storylineâŚbut alas, arenât interested to invest time (10hours in full) to watch episodes by episodes. Probably bcos it doesnât capture my heart and attention.
No offence, I do think FL had made a lot of effort to dress, make up and make herself plumper looking for first half of the series but itâs just weird that itâs so cliche and their story doesnât click with me.
Hope others could have better luck with this drama.

Iâm really dying to know if the ending is ML unable to be with FLâŚbcos Iâve been watching all the BTS clips to keep my anticipation going (I know his character somehow become demonic but itâs a xianxia romance so really hope scriptwriters did something good by turning the evil to kindnessâŚas noticed you wrote they didnât live togetherâŚso are they separated by different realms although still alive so itâs open ended ending or is it one of main lead died?) while waiting for the finale to be out before I begin to watch it as just wanting to make sure all is well in the end?
