Let´s be honest, their story really was really NOT important so it´s easy to miss. Actually having them in S2 was weird for me because I never work in the same company as people I graduated with but in the series, they´re all together again after 5 years when they´re not technically working in the same functions and these are the guys who each were in love with each main characters of S1 and ended up together on top of it all, it made it really unrealistic and there´s not even a backstory about them to make it interesting for S2.
That´s pretty much why I noticed them and also because they were appearing so rarely for no reason -because no story - which made me pause and wonder why when they were part of activities to promote the series. Pretty sure they appears in more interviews to promote the series than in the series itself. Whatever I give up on S2 anyway, it is what it is.

Really?? I mean we barely saw them so I didn´t see the point of the scene at the end but they were together at the end of the season 1 and they talked about Shu Yi preventing them from having their date in episode 2 I think. It´s funny that the big event is about them through when there´s no focus on this couple in the season to the point their relationship is barely noticed xD

So who understand what happen between Pei Shou Yi and Yu Zhen Xuan and can explain? Because I went from Yu Zhen Xuan crying and hiving him the box (great acting btw, I felt so sad for him) to Pei Shou Yi taking the box, leaving and then telling Yu Zhen Xuan "shouldn´t you be dealing with these things yourself" and now they´re all good?? But good how? Was it a hidden declaration Pei Shoul Yi want Yu Zhen Xuan to be at his side? Just after telling him he has an "affective disorder", whatever than means, so he doesn´t feel anything? I´m so confused... Hopefully if there is a S3 it´s about them which EXPLAIN more. I was really interested in them in S2 and it feels really incomplete right now.

Yes the guy he was thinking about in S1 is in S2 but I´m not sure S2 will finish in a complete happy ending for them since we only have one episode left but their relationship is REALLY interesting. I really would like a S3 focus on them.

I agree, do we even see the third couple in the trailer? They don´t really add any more value to the storyline, it´s a shame their story wasn´t developed.
For the house, it´s in episode 4 that it´s confirmed he living alone during GSD´s talk with Bing Wei (lawyer of the third couple). There´s a flashback of an argument with his father who almost hit him and told him to move and he said ok I´m going to live alone and after the flashback Bing Wei confirmed it (if you want to see it).

I agree that he forgave way too quickly... especially when the explanation as to why GSD did what he did is, in my opinion, completely stupid. I really don´t think, like some are still hoping that ZSY will dump GSD to hurt him as he initially planned to, he looks way to infatuated by the guy and it seems GSG´s reason to disappear for 5 years was good enough for him, especially after seeing that GSD did sent him emails each week that he didn´t receive because of the father once again... I really don´t get him, he didn´t even ask who was this woman and baby in the US (even if the viewers now have a pretty good guess, at least for the baby). The season is short but they should have have him stay angry and have GSD groveled for at least 2 more episodes!
I don´t understand your comment about the house, my understanding is that this house isn´t his father´s house or where he grew up, it´s where he moved to after a fight with his dad and decided to live alone. Then the house being so cold and dead make sense since it could be a reflection of his life after GSD disappearance. Maybe I´m wrong but that´s my understanding.
I definitely want more Yu Zhen Xuan and Pei Shou Yi, they character are very intriguing and they relationship is heartbreaking at the moment. Maybe a S3 with them as the mail couple could be good.
The third couple isn´t there to do much unfortunately.. they just remind me that this series really is a fiction: they both were infatuated with each of the main couple characters and weirdly ended up together at the end of S1 and now work for one of the main characters in S2? I never work with/for any of my previous classmates, the world is way to big for that but not theirs. Their story could have been interesting through.

I agree. Of course if he has less time to train, it makes it harder to learn and improve. I still think he did amazing through but for sure I did prefer team B because the level felt more equal between all members and I didn't have thos feeling with team A. Who knows what it would have been if Yihang didn't have other shootings.. I would honestly prefer side shows to be extra shoot of they normal practice/ daily life. Last yeat, I did have fun watching "who's the drama queen" but it shouldn't be at the expand of the main show and also the side show this year, well I do lt find them that good so..

I guess they want to attract more audience by doing that, honestly I hate it, I prefer them supporting each other despite the show being a competition, it´s more heartwarming and made me appreciate the show more. I didn´t like the korean version of the show because it felt less "human", more competitive when I tried watching.

I was wondering the same, I expect it´s indeed him participating to the YWY3 side shows... it was the same thing last year. I remember during the mentor collaboration, Lisa´s team were often not able to train together because they had a lot of other shooting to do at the same time so when they had new moved they were filming them for the missing team member

Yep it was really fast but I would be surprise if he was playing game... they made a lot of efforts showing how desperate he is without GSD and that it´s all the dad´s fault. It´s like they want to show GSD has a "good" excuses to explain it all so it´s ok to forgive him (as ridiculous as the explanations were when a phone call to his bf or to common friends if his bf didn´t answer could have avoid all those issues), he even sent those weekly emails without getting an answer, so sweet (I´m a little sarcastic). I mean it´s quite ridiculous but well because of this I would be surprise if Shu Yi was playing with him. At this point I just want them to focus on the second couple, they should have left the first couple in peace after season 1 instead of creating those issues but well...

The guy is already a few YEARS late, no need to hurry to go to the airport at this point...

I enjoy the acting but the script is dumb. If my man ghosted me, I would move on, I would definitely not travel to another country looking for him or stay depressed and lonely. If I had so much time and money to waste to do it through and I found him with another woman and baby, I wouldn´t stay away and go back to my country all depressed, I would asked right there and right now for an explanation and probably dump him for ghosting me and unless he lost his memory, it will be hard to get a good explanation. If I learn that he made a deal with my dad, I would be at minimum annoyed for having dated an idiot and for my poor taste in men.

I know it´s supposed to be about true love, they can´t forget each other and are miserable without each other but come on, 5 years??? I´m sorry but if I was ZSY I probably would have gone through a few guys during that time instead of getting drunk watching a photo of us together and keeping this bracelet in a pretty box...

And GSD, what an idiot! he had to stay longer in the US than the 2 months planned but he isn´t able to text him why? If he can´t reach him, he isn´t able to contact common friends to ask what´s going on?? He know ZSY´s father is against them but he accept a deal with him but think that 5 years without news and he could get back the guy??? And he actually can get back the guy because he was pretty much just waiting for him???

In the very beginning of the episode 4 we learn his mother was pregnant when they arrived in the US and she had a tough pregnancy that´s why he stayed so long in the US instead of coming back after 2 months. The baby we saw is probably his sibling Oscar and the mother said that now " Brandon and Ashley can help". I´m guessing the women may be this Ashley... maybe she´s his stepsister

I don´t know him a lot but I´m sure he isn´t like that. Even when watching the first episode, they filmed his reaction to part of the other team performance and it didn´t look nice so I kind of felt then they did it on purpose (it was too much). In later episodes, he looks like a funny and sweet guy, he is ambitious but this shouldn't necessarily be a negative but the way it was portrayed at the beginning probably influence a lot of people.. I feel like they´re doing the same thing with the editing by creating fake tensions between Tony and Luo Yizhou for the center position, it´s really annoying because they can damage the image of some of them...

I assume they need to blur the logos because of it and maybe they didn´t have the time to finish editing the episode because of it
