In my opinion, PhuKao is keeping this series alive (that´s the only explanation I have)

After this episode, I can officially said I´m only watching this serie for Phu Kao (I love both characters, both actors are great especially the one playing Kao).
When it comes to SolGuy, it´s just so awkward and unnatural, when they speak, I just want to sleep and let´s not talk about the Dr "I don´t remember his name because I don´t care", the really weird girl who really needs therapy and now her brother (Khim, Khem or is it the opposite? whatever)... like WTF are they doing with those characters??? It was already F up but this episode... I´m skipping all their scenes!

Um... Ep 7, I have sooooooooo many questions about Jay. And because of that, I don't trust him
In the novel, Jay is definitely a good guy but it´s not portrayed well in the episode

Not that it justifies anything but from what I´ve read, Tul was really mistreated, like REALLY bad. He is the…
For sure that´s why I can only "guess" Tul´s way of acting with Tin based on big events I found out from those translations which could be off. What is your take on Tul? Do you think he really hates Tin? Maybe it´s wishful thinking but I feel like "maybe", when younger he pushed his frustrations and anger on Tin and now can´t back down since he´s done terrible things to his brother and just continue to be this way. it´s like when Tin is present, he switches back to asshole mode but is not that way otherwise (not that we saw him a lot). I don´t know I hate what he´s doing/has done but I feel like he is more complex than just being a bad person, he just seems very "poor" if you see what I mean.

What an asshole of a brother Tul is. Why? Just why?And the ending song, is that the song Plan was talking about…
Not that it justifies anything but from what I´ve read, Tul was really mistreated, like REALLY bad. He is the son from Tul and Tin´s father first marriage to a British woman and was HATED by his grandmother, he also was pretty much abandoned by is mother. He was also kidnapped younger and his grandmother wanted to let him die because Tin was born and was, for her, the real heir (second marriage to a thai woman from a good family if i remember correctly) and despite all he´s been through, his father asked him to forgive his grandmother which made him resentful of his father also (I read that from a translation). I can only guess he used Tin as the object of revenge or something which sucks... To be honest from what I´ve read I feel like Tul is also confused about his feeling for his own brother but after what he´s done to Tin, he just continues to be a bad guy, There´s a book about Tul and Hin´s story (it´s about their past, Tul´s childhood, it´s called breath but there is no official translation of it. From what I´ve hear it´s quite messed up through)

I´m sorry but no I can´t bear Khim and dr Petch... I don´t think I´ve ever watch characters who annoyed me that much, I try to watch them but they both piss me off (especially Khim but the way Petch was during this episode him too) so I have to skip their scenes! Also I definitely prefer the second couple (PhuKao). I really enjoyed both couple in the books and as of right now their story is quite similar to the book -except for the timeline- but SoloGui is just... I don´t now, kind of awkward.. each time Gui is talking to Solo he speak in a very monotone voice with always the same background music and it makes the scene "flat". I think the actors are representing quite well their character but it´s not that good watching it. I love PhuKao through, all their scenes are great, the actor playing Kao is amazing in my opinion!

Looks like the series will be a lot more fun to watch starting from ep 7. I was also confused at first but I had…
I think so too, since around episode 5, I started to enjoy the TinCan parts so I´m looking forward to next week for them!
Episode 7: I´m really happy they put TinCan rejection scene in the same episode that their reconciliation. The last scene was very cute. I like Perth acting also.I´m looking forward to see more of TinCan

That being said I need to say it, It´s annoying/ confusing from episode 1 that they modified TinCan timeline compared with S1 but what is even more annoying now that I got used to the new timeline is the plot holes:

Pete: I know why Pete is not there in the series because Saint is not there and I know it´s not farfetched from the book since Pete leaving Thailand because of his father happened (thank you Wattpad) but we went from a happy ending in S1 to this in S2 without a clear explanation. Since TinCan is the main couple I don´t get why they didn´t do the series as if Pete was there but with only showing Ae. or at least give an explanation somewhere in the beginning of the series instead of dropping information like Ae almost getting kicked out of the school because of Pete´s dad which we learn in episode 7.

Klano: This is who I called the F up couple in both the series and book (I´ve read the book and it´s as F up if not more since the book is only focus on them). From S1 i had an issue because, well, rape. Seems like they change the book since they have Klengla being kinda remorseful and admitting he "started it" ( at the end of S1 Kla said to Techno that Techno took advantage of him).
Well I´m not sure If I can say it´s "better" than the book since what happened happened and nothing can change that but if we have to continue on this romance starting with a rape (I mean come on, why??? Jail should be the end of it) could they at least explain how Techno learn that Kla took advantage of him? It´s kind of a big thing in the book that they put earlier in the series but no explanation, Techno just know..

TarTum: no idea what is happening there.. there is a guy who seems interested in Tum while Tar is still in France it seems but honestly I don´t even care... no idea where this is going

New actors: nothing against them but why? We have a new Tul (who seems way too young but didn´t age between when Tin was like 10 and now) and Hul who both intrigued me (like their story seems also F up but interesting). I´m not sure about the other actors through, I´m not thinking anything bad about them but what are they bringing to the story..

Anyway I´m continuing for the Tin Can storyline, btw i´m not saying it´s "bad" just not the best and if anyone disagree, I respect your opinion, this is just mine

Weirdly enough I prefer the scene of season 1 with the shitty editing where we could see them not kissing because…
I don´t disagree that they always feel uncomfortable even in S1 for Can (which also made sense because of Can´s character so I´m not judging that in general) but for this particular scene, if i had to chose which one I prefer, it´s season one because it felt like Can was warming up to Tin but not really in S2, that´s all. That being said, I do prefer the new scenes of S2 - I like the scenes about the new phone at the coffee shop, really love Can and Tin´s interaction. I absolutely loved the last scene of episode 5 which continued in episode 6, I feel like it really shows how loyal Can is and vulnerable Tin feels, it was beautiful and it´s where i feel like the couple made sense. I posted on another comment about it but I feel all the new scenes are quite nice but the old scenes redone in S2 are just not that good. About this kisses, contrary to a lot, I´m not going to go crazy if they don´t have amazing make out scenes, I´m happy with cute and loving scene between the 2 (i´m easy) but from what I read, they are supposed to kiss and more after so then Can is not supposed at all to be that way so I just hope that or they don´t make the scenes and the actor are uncomfortable with them or that the scenes are done well but we will see!

People who complain about the kiss: at least the editing was better as in s1
Weirdly enough I prefer the scene of season 1 with the shitty editing where we could see them not kissing because Can kinda seem into it than this S2 scene which was cringy AF from beginning to end. At this point, I would prefer them not to kiss at all, it feel way too forced and uncomfortable
Ok episode 6 finished so we almost reached the end of season 1 for the TinCan storyline (FINALLY!!). I do appreciate Tin and Can's characters more - especially Tin- since there's more character's development but since there are only 13 episodes, that means 50% of the series is a recap of season 1 for them which is a "little" too long for me...

Now i do appreciate some things like, as i said, the characters being more developed, also Tul (I don't like HIM but the character is definitely interesting, I read a little about Tul and I would actually like to have his story with Hin).

I think the main issue of S2 is that we have to consider that S1 didn´t exist for TinCan (even if no big changes happened when you compare the scenes..) but S2 has to follow S1 for the other couples. It was quite disturbing when I started, I´m barely getting use to it ... I honestly would have preferred them to continue S2 from S1 directly, maybe a 2 to 3 episodes recap for TinCan but that´s it, and to not move the timeline... I know they have to do something about Saint/Pete absence but since Ae/Pete is not the main couple anymore, I´m sure they could have done without him (as much as I like Saint and would have preferred him in S2) but let´s be honest, with TinCan as a main couple, it would have been ok to have a recap on S1 in 3 episodes max -to introduce the new actors like Tul - maybe even using scenes from S1 and we wouldn´t need to go through all the Ae thing (i don´t want to hide my comments in spoiler so I won´t develop more but those watching know). We could have done as if everything was well for them but no Pete´s scenes. I´m only kinda ok about this because it follows the books but I hope it won´t stay unresolved.
I don´t know what to feel about Techno and Kengla because what happened as the end of S1 is just WRONG (well actually I know what I feel, I hate it) and i have no idea about why we´re having Tum Tar´ storyline.

Overall it´s quite messy. Now It´s no the worst and I´m pretty sure I will enjoy the second part because I want to see the rest of Tin Can but I don´t know who wrote the script and I really don´t like what was done... But I´m still going to continue watching for Tin Can story only.

Exactly! Now everything have a meaning or logic, something like that ...??
I feel like for the first time i can understand the reboot of TinCan even if the timeline with the other characters is confusing. Like both characters now have more emotions and texture if that makes sense . Can's reaction to the gift saying he just want to hear Tin saying sorry, not a gift., o feel like Can was more adult when it comes to friendship instead of always being cute ans silly and Tin looked more "human", he's trying to be better. I also loved the last 2 scenes of TinCan, it made their relation more profound and meaningful than season 1 and than the first episodes which were confusing for me! I'm looking forward to the next episode!

Ok im confused with the first episode are tin and can just now meeting again why are they reenacting when they…
Yes, instead of continuing directly from S1, they reajusted how they met.. Maybe to introduce new actors (Tul is not the same) maybe to slightly change the timeline because of Daint not being there or maybe for new fans who didn't whatch S1..
