Really loved these characters, OST, and the overall message of the drama. Only thing I'll critique is how the ending seemed a bit forced and rushed. There isn't closure in some areas I feel although they tried. Def watched for Coming Century, love them so much. Def rewatchable.
Really bingeable season of this drama. I was glued from the moment I started it to the moment I finished it. Very wholesome and at times sad. Def recommend! On to watch the next season ☺️
I have no idea why this drama is rated so low here.. I’m a fan of Shun Oguri so that’s how I was brought to it. So glad Amazon Prime has it. I think this is a drama that is worth watching because not only is it a feel good drama, but it also was cute and brought comfort. Yes.. Kazumi can be dumb.. but I think his overall personality was cute and I loved him. He’s so sweet and kind, and our little “victory” squad always helps keep him in check 💀. Last ep with Kazumi and Shiraishi made me cry 😭idk it was touching. Def would rewatch ❤️ if you have doubts just watch it.. I almost didn’t watch this underrated drama because people here didn’t want to give it a chance and had me think this was ass 😑 8.5/10
Watched this for Sho and he was great in it. The story was good, but I think this as a drama didn't work very well though. I think if it was a special it would've been better paced, and thus I would've rated it higher. The eps are pretty short and little happens in each ep .. so that's why I say this. Will say ep 17 was a bit of a tearjerker, it was the only ep to get a tear out me💀 Do I rec to watch? Maybe if you are on a binge of Sho's dramas, I'd say go for it. But if you're just coming across it, it's nothing special. This is a dated drama in a way, so keep that in mind if watching.
So I'll start by saying I loved this special, and it's message to be determined! In my current semester, I'm working with clients with cerebral palsy (although nonverbal in my case). I just felt what a better time to watch it than now. I have to give props to Nino for playing Hideo so well, not making it feel like a mockery. Definitely something to watch whenever I need encouragement. Life is short, and you should put your best forward doing the things you want to do.
Wow... that's how I can summarize this. It is an emotionally heavy special. I never knew about the Kobe earthquake before this, but seeing all the damage done and lives taken really made my jaw drop. I liked how this special was filmed in a sort of documentary/biopic style, and how they showed some of the real images. But I will say, that one image with the boy holding the bones of his mother is really heart wretching. I would definitely recommend to watch this, especially to know what happened, and for Sho's acting !
