Bro I am at ep 10 around 50:46 and there's Lee Ik Jun from Hospital Playlist!! I didn't realise but Ahn Jeong Won (Daddy Longs Legs) and Kim Jun Wan had cameos there too!!! I love the Easter eggs as Hospital playlist is one of my fave all time dramas!! T_T no wonder though, cause both these dramas ( and the entire Reply series?!) were written by the same screenwriter!! Lee Woo Jung is officially my fave screenwriter ever!! I love the homey vibes they put in all their dramas. Big oof, I hope RP gets a season 2 as well like HP did. Omggg this realisation made me so happy!! <3

I admire your self-awareness on this and appreciate your honesty. And yes, I agree that genAI it is rotten and should not be used for or in entertainment industry. There are thousands of talented people out there just waiting for their chance to prove themselves. Taking a wild guess, but as you say, I think that tvN might use this "trend" as marketing to get more diverse audience based on whatever messed up statistics they got. I am not blaming the actors or the director/producers but I would not respect them either for choosing to be part of this project knowing or at least being aware of the use of AI... it's pretty obvious that they might as well be valuing money over talent, so what makes these actors think they can make a good dime with this project? Especially Bae In Hyuk, he is probs the biggest name in here and yet he chose this random project. His acting is a bit plain and he chooses characters that are a rough around the edges, maybe just the type he can portray no judgement here, but really wondering what made him choose this type of role knowing he usually play the emotionally unavaiable persona. Meh, it's really up to you if you want to continue watching it. It just makes me sad seeing how the trends affect the industry like this.

oh is it an adaptation from a webtoon?? I like the concept but this adaptation is poorly executed... I usually don't watch live action series after webtoon i read or want to read but damn, they did this one dirty so imma go find the webtoon now. If you want to watch a nicer one go look for Hi Bye Mama! It's on Viki atm i think

I agree with this,I do not get why exactly they did not film a proper into/outro instead of gen AI. The casting is kinda odd too and the script is all over in the first ep. Newer k-dramas do not have the same flavour anymore...

It looks fake and unatural, as if it was a poorly edited video and someone slapped a Snaptchat filter on it. The angles are odd and colors are too bright and not going well with each other. A human animator would not use this type of graphics/style due to possible copyright issues. Also, gen AI is known to be copying animation styles from big animation studios like Pixar or Ghibli. I do not think you have to be "working in the field" to see this, sure there are stuff I cannot tell either, but this looks just weird and fake to me. You have free will to think what you like, but please do not use terms such as "i'm a little blind to...", that's a poor choice of words. If you know what gen AI is capable of and what it takes for to function, then you wouldn't say such silly things.

Let alone the gen AI stuff, the concept is not new and the actors are an odd combo. But let's see what others think too. Also, you have as much free will as I do here, you don't have to listen to me and you can continue watching.

As much as I love Bae In Hyuk and wanted to see more of his dramas (loved him in Check In Hanyang and At a distance spring is green) I draw the line at the horrible gen AI usage... Why couldn't they hire real animators bruh?? There are sooo many talented people out there in SK waiting to showcase their talent and they chose to just use gen ai ?? CAuse it cheaper?? Less fuss?? Idk but considering the amount of money that a network line tvN has, I do not think they lack resources. The story is good ish, apart from the FL being a big dull and the overused cliche love triangle and the "do you have a child?!" misunderstandings. If you really want a good drama that has co-parenting, great actors and an even greater child actor go and see Hi Bye Mama! But I must warn you that you'll cry your ass out so be prepared so you don't end up a dehydrated raisin!!

Bruh the description must be wrong cus 16 years does not make sense?? 6 years time jump, yes. But sixteen?? So they met when they were 15 and 19 ( or 14 and 18 without the Korean age system leap year) and even in ep 6 FL said she is 4 years older than ML and that she considers him "her lilttle brother"??? So realistically they should be ML - 20/21 and FL 24/25. (NOT THEIR REAL AGES, IN DRAMA AGE). So wtf is "sixteen years"??? Pls that doesn't make any sense. Can someone edit pls?

I mean, the plot is kinda absurd to begin with and if you watched anything like "Secret Garden" or "You who came from the stars" or anything like that you'll deffo find similarities in this one. Alas, the main theme in this is "rich boy poor girl" so it will always be the "i am the alpha male/stronger than you and you must obey me cause such and such". Chaebols/ CEOs dramas are always like this. I mean he was legit breaking the 4th wall ish by reading a novel ( in the drama idk what ep is it) called "Domineering boss". What were you expecting lmao?? I see the problems you are poiting out here and I totally agree with you, but this is a fictional plot and moreover it just seems to be a corny love interspecies love story written by sexist people ( probs a mysoginistic too) and if you really got mad over this, you're silly. You can just drop stuff that are not interesting to you, let others enjoy if they want to. Even I finished it, gave it a score of 7 and called it a day. I won't watch s2 cus story wise it's stupid, there was no character development whatsoever, but alas, you decide what to watch, friend. Just no hate :D

Yeah can't say i was impressed either, i ignored it for awhile cus it wasn't entertaining/plotwist-y enough. And they were never enemies to begin with, it was just a big ass misunderstanding taken to extreme. But they wanted to do the "cat vs dog" kind of silly fights and the sound effects were just goofy - in a bad way. He has a nice face, he should get more chaebol/business themed roles.

Have u watched his short drama called Love your enemy? Where he plays a chaebol with a high school sweetheart love story situationship/ enemies to lovers but not really? It's kinda silly and not that deep, but he kinda looks nice in suits lol

jeez u're right! Why does she keep accepting roles like this I wonder? Even the actors who usually play villains try on a good guy role sometimes. Makes me wonder if it's just her choice or she finds it easy to portray this type of role?? Idk, there was a saying somewhere that sometimes actors do not actually act, because the roles they choose are similar with their own mindsets or personalities. So it would make sense??

Honestly, idk about that. He was foolish enough to confess in front of the damn Chief of the Police and complicate things when he was deemed as "well raised son and reliable" so not sure what is for him to be praised for here
