I will also add for future watchers that despite its Wattpad coded plot and maybe even because of that, you are…
I tried to stay away from that site because they are just pure hating.

X/twitter has majority of the hype and many people are still enjoying it. Except for those fans of the other pretty popular dramas last year who can't accept that a new one is gaining traction.

Also, there are YYS fans and irl shippers of the two who are quite not getting along.

But as long as many are still enjoying this, I guess it is still a win.

honestly I find it a bit inconsistent with the real Sa Eon's character that he'd have the forethought to lie to…
He said he know his family will kill him so he did not go to them right away. Maybe that is also the reason why he did not disclose his identity to PDJ. He was just desparate to have someone to team up with in order to target fake BSE.

I remember a comment asking about a certain question. The answer was pretty clear on that specific episode, but it appears that they've skipped the part. Like, why would you even skip it and then complain that there was a plothole.. smh

For the future watchers and those starting the drama right now. The ways you can actually enjoy this drama.

1. Always think of the drama logic. The show is for pure entertainment, a guilty pleasure. If you are here thinking it would be a realistic drama, then you won't enjoy it. Abandon the technicalities and your personal projections.

2. It is a thriller romance, so both genres are entertwined. You will feel the angst and frustration, but you will also feel the intense chemistry of the leads.

3. Plot-wise, your questions will be answered as you go along the rest of the episodes. Any other "logic" you are thinking of, please refer to number 1.

4. Instead of thinking "how/what will I do in this situation" it should be "how/why did Heejoo & BSE do that". Then you will enjoy this more. Again, point number 1.

But seriously, as a long time drama watcher, I am easy to please. As long as the leads acting are great, intense chemistry and good communication are present, idrc about the craziness around them. So for those who are like me, you will enjoy it. ๐Ÿ˜™

you know, I kind of wonder what fake Sa Eon's original revenge plan was. He had obviously been working towards…
good question. Hope they would not waste the episode with both leads separated and a time jump.

I have two kdramas off the top of my head that did this and they are both pretty famous
I was not a fan of those trope so maybe that's why I don't have a clue lol

There's a famous Japanese drama that has this trope (actual siblings)... and a famous Korean drama that has something…
Anything can happen in the world of dramas/movies so I understand that it is not entirely impossible for that trope to happen.

I was just wondering how can the viewers think that this type of trope will fit this particular drama's narrative.

From where I was understanding the plot of this drama up to this point, it just does not make sense if they will insert that both leads are related.

I'm not saying they are but I thnik that's what the real Sae On told the fake one. He called his father a sinner,…
he spent 20 years enduring being part of the Baek household and I was at the impression that he's been planning his revenge for quite some time now. That means he knows all their families' secrets.

I would be insulted as a viewer if fake BSE will believe the real BSE (assuming he really said that)

I just hope for a clean end for this drama and this will be one of the best for me should that happens.

Ahhh maybe that's where the speculations came from. I'm speechless lol
On When the Phone Rings Jan 3, 2025
The best LOL moment I am seeing on this page right now are the viewers speculating that Heejoo and BSE are related.

Is it a normal trope on other countries' dramas? Because I've been watching kdramas and cdramas for the past decade and I haven't encountered that type of plot twist.

Like sure, maybe step siblings or a set up where the leads grew up together in a single household. But biologically related? We only have one episode left and there's no way we can squeeze that angle.๐Ÿ˜…

Why would you stop the car when someone is trying to kill you with a gun ? Make no sense to me. Just run over…
If he's only thinking about him and Heejoo's sake, he would have done that. But that psycho is involved on this grand scheme around the two families and the four murders from the orphanage. It would make sense to keep him alive and pay for his crimes than risking him being injured or died. Fake BSE is also not the type to do that and was more rational on his overall "revenge", unlike that psycho who's mental thinking is to just kill and eliminate everyone.

I appreciate the way you highlight each points. I donโ€™t understand why many people are hating ep 11.
Because they are projecting themselves on what they will do if they are in BSE and Heejoo's situation, which would not make sense story wise. We are watching THEIR story, not the viewer's "logic" thinking
On When the Phone Rings Jan 3, 2025
So instead of pondering and preaching of what Heejoo and Sa Eon should and should not do, I will just post the things that I liked on this episode because *surprise* it was actually a pretty good episode.

1. His reporter friend shoving that recorder on the speaker to reveal PDJ's statement. He was one of the few people who was consistent with his support to BSE.

2. The second leads are quite cute. Yuri appealing to the public to help find Heejoo was touching.

3. The only question I had previously, about how PDJ and real BSE met, was answered properly.

4. Mr. Kim the assistant was consistent in being somewhat a good guy. Glad that he had the conscience to let Heejoo escape.

5. Heejoo's mom being sad after the news of her daughter's disappearance. It was not a "redemption arc" but more on the fact that we're just being shown of her other side. If she was really an awful mom, she would have abandon her and not bring her to the Hong family.

6. The mom and BSE showdown. Kudos to both actors for their impressive acting.

7. The kiss. Atleast the writer is finding a way to give us sweetness despite the intense scenes.

Why does real Sa Eon keep calling HHJ "older sister" from female level?
He's being sarcastic. There's no sane thoughts around his head.

why would he run him over?
I'm not a law expert but he will probably get charged for that. Also, they would need that psycho to be alive and be sentenced for all his crimes. It was risky, but he have no choice but to get out of the car to pacify that kidnapper. They will eventually get hurt if that bitc*h pulled the gun.

Does it make any sense why he'd disappear for 6 months?!I'm onboard with a mini separation for a sensible reason…
I answered you because you said they have a good communication only to be thrown away when he disappeared. So yeah, part of their "communication" is for him informing her thatbhe will be missing.

few episodes before, he already said that if ever he disappears, DO NOT find him and he will reach out to her. She might be clueless of the reason (which might be explained on ep 12) but he gave her a heads up and she's probably just waiting for him to come back.
