Absolutely yes. Don't listen to haters. The acting is amazing, the chemistry pretty hot, and the story really good. Also the setting and the visual are beautiful. Just watch with official subtitles to make sure you understand everything. Both male leads have deep personal stories and traumas that many audience members don't get and thus they hate the show....🙄

They have confirmed they end up marrying each other. It is also pictured in the opening song so it is not a spoiler at all.

It isn't boring. The slow scenes are actually so interesting that you don't want them to end. The only issue is that if you're in a difficult period of your life and you can't take sadness and painful plots... maybe you should skip this series till the right time comes for you to watch. It is very beautiful. I can't deny that. But it also very raw (not in the NC way ...) .

Of course dear. I have watched a few episodes as I mentioned but i can't complete it at this moment of my life. It's not the series fault. It's mine. I'm not ready yet. The series is very beautiful and shows the happiness and sadness you experience in life.♥️

In simple words, in this drama there are a lot of d3aths, even d3aths of kind of main characters. There are also break ups and in general even the strongest audiences are gonna cry their eyes out. So if you are not in the mood, avoid it. When you feel ready to experience a lot of ups and downs, extreme pain and sadness and finslly catharsis, you may come and watch this show. Personally, even though i love the acting A LOT and the cinematography is FASCINATING, the pain is a lot and I'm currently goung through a lot in my real life too so i can't keep up with this series. But i do appreciate it a lot and i will come back to watch it as a whole when i feel better and ready. It is a beautiful show though.

LuQing cares a lot about XiaoFan. But he is emotionless due to the trauma his mother caused him. She didn't allow him to show emotions and she didn't accept him as gay. That's why she harmed his previous lover. And that's why LuQing had to push XiaoFan away. He was trying to protect him but he couldn't say "XiaoFan, I love, but you have to leave for a whole cause I don't want you to get hurt". Also, sometimes LuQing doesn't take XiaoFan's side cause he is trying to make him independent and strong. He is trying to help him find ways to protect himself. LuQing is very kind and in love and we can sense it when he asked XiaoFan if he is ok in after their very strange first time. He was feeling guilty. And he loved XiaoFan a lot. That's why he allowed him to cry on his shoulder and even encouraged to. He is emotional but forced to act as an emotionless person.
On the other hand, XiaoFan is a poor village boy with no specific educational background. His was of showing love is by making soup and taking care of his lover like a maid or a mum. Everything in the rich city is new to him and he doesn't know much about it. He is innocent and his family had told him that he kind of had to serve in order to succeed. That's why at very first he thinks that sex is the way LuQing wants to get paid by him. But as time goes on he realises that the body desire they both share has nothing to do with payments and credits. It's their love that makes them want to stick together.
