Reposting my old comment because I still have the same thoughts:
Me: omg Nana and Min ki. Me: checking screenwriter's work. Me: realising all his work is under 8 expect fated to love you. Me: realising fated to love you is a remake of Taiwanese drama, so the rating shouldn't count since its not original work. Me: realising that actually all his work is under 8. Me: trauma flashback to Record Of Youth screenwriter. Me: checking his last drama. Me: realising it's Lonely Enough to Love. Me: rising blood pressure.
I still won't keep my hopes high. Just hoping they wont fuck up plz.
How is episode 8 viewed in Korea? Like what is the reaction of the audience on forums ect.. since it includes gay scenes. Wondering since Koreans are generally homophobic.
The people from the plaza are getting worse each episode. And their comedy is a big no. So annoying that I pray Vincenzo won't share the gold with them. Expect the agent, of course. He can have all the gold. No, what I meant is that he better gets all the gold. PERIOD.
Shibukis role was intresting to me, I wanted to see her endgame with she becoming an master seducer who sacrificed…
shes a hero for not letting Chota die as virgin xD
But I agree. When she told herself that she would survive, I thought she would until the end. But let's be honest. She was useless, no skill or whatsoever. Same for Chota. They were really made for each other LOL
Both Alice in Borderland and Sweet Home are very similar when it comes to psychological, drama, horror, thriller, and surviving. Both dramas have a group of people. However, how is this has a higher rating than the Japanese one when the Japanese one is better?
The pacing of Alice in Borderland is better. Every episode is a thriller that leaves you in surprise. The characters have more emotions for each other. It makes you cry. Simultaneously, everyone is emotionless in Sweet Home (hello, a pandemic is going on?), the special effects are better, it has fitting sounds. At the same time, Sweet Home plays a fucking League of Legends song during a thrilling scene. Hello? It has no comedy tag. You want me to laugh in a scary scene? Well, are they scary? No. Maybe if you're 12. But Alice in Borderland makes you sit on the edge of your seat! Netflix invested all that money for Sweet Home, but you couldn't create better SFX?
I've realized that this one has more ratings than Alice in Borderland on MDL. Do you guys give Japanese dramas no chance because Korea over everything, or did you not find out yet? Because how come you don't watch a similar show? Well, I recommend you to do so anyway...
