I really like how, despite this drama being a romcom, it is very deep and has a lot of deep messages about work and life. It hit me really hard and I could relate to a lot of things in this drama, which made it so much more enjoyable. I'm glad it wasn't just a "silly" romcom plot, but the plot was really well thought out and was supposed to hit you right in the feels <3

I guess my view is based of of my upbringing and Culture in Europe, but the whole the woman is a wife so the husband can do what he wants thing - is very strange to me. I try to understand it as a cultural difference but...it's just so odd xD anyways, I find thai lakorn to be very difficult for me because of the cultural aspects. I'm happy I gave them a try though, because I feel like one can't judge without giving it a try, but it's sadly not for me xD

I remember watching my first lakorn a few years ago and I don't remember the name but I do remember how the male lead raped the female lead to GET REVENGE on her sister who was madly in love with him (but she was a real b*tch) .HE USED the main female and raped her over and over again. She was clearly not enjoying it, and yet it was protrayed as something "romantic" in the drama. The scriptwriter even tried to explain and justify the male leads rape and behavior with "he doesn't know how to express his emotions. His father was violent and so the poor male lead never learned how to express love" ....wtf?? O_O I was shocked but apparently rape is a big part of the "romantic plottwist in Lakorns" Mains dislike each other, male lead rapes female lead, suddenly she falls head over heels in love with him. Kind of odd because in the scene Before she fell in love with him I remember that she cried and said how she hated him (which is understandable) and then the next day she was in love with him....okay....xO Did I mention that I wanted to punch both the male lead and his father in the face a few times though-out the drama? They were despicable XO

She's an amazing actress in White Christmas and in Because this is my first life! She needs to get more roles! Hopefully a main role too! :D

I see xO Hm...perhaps I should give The Disguiser a second chance then! It'd be cool to see two dramas to the same take on the time-period xO I Think that will help me grasp a more "complete" Picture of the situation that occured back in China

I personally loved the characters and story of Sparrow a lot more than The Disguiser. I love love Hu Ge but I just couldn't get into The Disguiser, I almost fell asleep during the first 2-3 episodes...X_X

I couldn't get through Descendants of the Sun. Dropped it and watched the last episode....it was so boring (in my opinion) X_X

Hm...I'm kind of sad. They looked cute together, however dating and breakups are people's private stuff so whatever reason they had to break up, I'll respect it. With that said, I do kind of ship Lee Jong Suk and Suzy xD

Not a big fan of investigation police dramas but I'll watch anything with Lee Joon Gi xO I'm a big fan of his action thriller dramas like Two Weeks and Time Between dog and wolf <3

Omg I felt so freaking bad for Tae San through-out the drama D'X Lee Jun Ki pulled this role off so so well! I love this drama to bits! It was so intense and emotional <3 10/10

Zhang Ruo Yun is so charismatic and talented <3 I loved loved his acting in this drama. He was so hot as the Emperor of tge wingkind. Those blue eyes made him 100 times hotter *_* best actor in the drama in my opinion!

While I lived everyone, he was myy favorite. Yes he dies in like ep 49-50 I believe. Quite a sad and brutal death T_T so you spoiled the ending for yourself? Will you still check it out?

Thanks! :D I loved Sparrow because all the characters were morally grey in one way or the other. I really liked the ending, since it made me question some information we got pretty early on. I had my theories and I liked that some parts at the end made me question the main character's honest and intentions. As for the romance, Sparrow isn't very romance centered so I didn't really have an issue but I definitely think you should continue it! The romance isn't really presented at the end. That is all I can say xD
