Of course it is a Chinese propaganda movie, but as China has now made a vey successful comeback to the world scene…
Reading your share actually encouraged me to be more forthcoming so I would like to thank you again! 😂😀
We live in fascinating and dire times politically 😀🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Most of the time I like to cheer for the underdogs, especially those who persevered! I’m especially proud of how Singapore pulled through after being kicked out of Malaysia in the 1960s since my beloved father was originally from Singapore! 👍😃

Thanks and the feelings is mutual on your shares; hundred percent in agreement! Well put; I’ve enjoyed reading some of the posts and commentary, especially the ones who are not from China, but are aware of the histories!
Right now, the US is focused on global appeal with fundings on wars efforts; Meanwhile, people are struggling here (in the US Especially in the rural areas) without insurance, jobs, food, medical, etc. 🤦🏻♀️
I especially liked how you wrote US always portrayed themselves in the right/good side! Hope to see you around! 👍🌟😻🪷🙏
I actually don't mind the main Hua family so much. Mostly cause when they make a mistake, the realistically learn…
🤣😂👍🙏🏼 Post/share likes yours, comedic and yet candid, is why I like reading comments! I am also liking this drama and look forward to each new episodes!

Thank you for this and for recognizing 'leap forward', as well as US's depictions, etc! I've enjoyed the War of Faith's MDL commenters (especially the political discussions); refreshing to see educated opinions. I have never liked republican era dramas until War of Faith; it was really good/entertaining! 👍🌟
As an American, I'm not sure why people often say these type of shows from China are propaganda; is it because China is a communist country? I actually think War of Faith is more nationalism/patriotism. I'm not a proponent of communism but I learned from my beloved mom that in China's extensive respectable long history, it has been really difficult for them to 'unify', therefore, I believe that their governing structures have to different than the western world.
Hope you do not mind my candor. i.e. When Hollywood or Disney produces movies/shows such as: - Miracle (how US Olympic team historic win agains the Russians...) - Rocky winning against a Russian fighter... - Shows/movies on US winning against England in Revolutionary war...depicting historic events (which is what War of Faith also mentioned/depicted...)
Why don't people say that Hollywood or the US are pushing propaganda or portraying these other cultures and people in negative lights? Thank you my smart MDL peeps! See you soon.
This is one of the most frustrating drama I’ve ever watched. I loved watching 100+ Korean family dramas back…
💯 in agreement with what you wrote above especially about enjoying the hundred plus episodes dramas from past days!
I’m surprised nobody commented about how they prolong this drama from 120 episodes to 132! 🤦🏻♀️😂 This definitely exacerbated our frustrations! 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ wondered if the actors themselves wants to pull the plug on this project?! lol 😂
😂😂😀😃🤦🏻♀️ Since this drama is only half way through 120eps… she might! lol
For the future watchers of this drama, just watch episodes 1 to 10 and then skip to episode 58! You won’t miss anything and will not suffer any angst or say to self…wtf?! 😂🌟 lol
The poor FL, she has a lot of dots to connect or uncover! 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
I'm sorry but I'm going to have to rant here because I've watched A LOT of dramas and I'm soooooo sick of the…
I actually laughed @ your post/share because when I read, 'rant'...I was thinking "Oh no...(wait for it)...," and to learn that it was a cute candor! 😁 I got the logists of your share; repetitive since I saw something similar in Goodbye My Princess, The King's Women, etc. I used to think this of some sayings (historicals> modern days > family usage) and then it dawn on me that it is figure of speeches.
Off on a tangent: This inspired me to make some of a medicine herbal soup today that my beloved Chinese mom taught me to make! 👍🙏🏼 Some may be bitter so at times I add dates!
Keep on enjoying & sharing! I enjoy reading posts/comments (especially the 😁🤣 ones)!
What's with that new airing schedule calendar?I don't understand even a single thing );
I removed it! I looked up the Chinese site!
I’ve always relied on others posting the calendars and so appreciative of them. Let me ask the experts/my Mdl friends if they can locate an updated one!

After today’s episodes, I’m very disappointed with this drama if you don’t mind my candor! 🤦🏻♀️😂
That’s not forget KSR‘s mom! 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ this drama wouldn’t be a drama if she didn’t overreacted over a non-existing affair! lol 😂 smh
Keep on enjoying! I like the leading actress on in cold blood! She was in twinkling watermelon! 🍉 🌟👍
