Will watch Rising Lady (thank you 🙏🏼); there are few trio good friendship between ladies show. Another one was Love like the Galaxy; it was a rarity to see the Empress liking the consort, etc. Vacation of Love has Qin Lan and Cheng Xiao so I'd recommend that.

I love this site because I used to watch Asian, US, Latin, Indian, African shows and now, globally, many different nationalities/cultures are watching cdramas! I enjoy reading others' candor/rants/comments; can relate or find humor!
I like some interesting side characters as well! They can 'add' to any dramas!

I'm not a novice to c-dramas; this drama production worked diligent to deliver good content. This is effective storytelling.
i.e. LMX's character making such efforts for HH's family.... .......YY sticking up for herself and rejecting the proposal (she finally saw her worth which HH has been trying to tell her). .......BY's character finally got someone who is worthy of her love and attention! She has been a good friend to HH with financial and emotional support...vice versa.
***I'm normally a private person but today's episode was poignant and very emotional because my beloved wonderful mother passed away a few months ago (I spent the last few years taking care of her). 😢

She was pretty good in Palace of Devotion (slow costume drama) and Vacation of Love (with one of my other favs Cheng Xiao). I like her and Qin Lan (more mature ladies).

I've been soooo looking forward to LOA; didn't read the novel so my subjective opinion is a mixed bags filled with other novel readers shares and my own. The scriptwriters and multiple directors might be the caused of some angst with the drama. It has been meh for me because I enjoyed other costume dramas due to other characters (besides the leads) in a drama. I've fast forwarded a particular character's scene (fake DZY) & rarely rewatched the eps (uncharacteristic of me particularly if I like the drama). Dilraba, Gong, and LMX are making it work.
