✅ As mentioned in my earlier comment, I've always been a fan of atypical, naturally beautiful Zhang Jing Yi and her performances.!🌟 Her parents, male lead, her bro, teacher, and other side characters gave good portrayals of their respective characters. A new fan of male lead and his deep voice!

✅ So glad that Beiyu is as beautiful as she is on the outside (as she is on the inside); even at a young age, she self sacrificed by staying (even when given a chance to return to live with her parents) because the &(*& aunt & grandmother wanted Qing Yu (if Beiyu left) in her place! It's wonderful to see Beiyu (so deserving) finally got some quality time with her parents! 🥰

✅ Love, love, love reading the commenters who understand and so sympathetic of the Chinese mom (like many) who didn't grow up with lots of loves/cares/etc! 👍 Very indicative of how much MDL viewers have matured and progressed through viewerships and personal experiences! 🙌🏼

When the aunt said that Beiyu got what she deserved, if I was Beiyu's mom (even as a non-violent person), I would personally beat the (&*(& out of aunt. lol 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

FL: I've been a fan of Zhang Jing Yi since her 1st movie debut to the recent Legend of Zang Hai; she is an atypical beauty (sans makeup and 'different'). Her different/unique look sets her apart from others!

Plot wise: I enjoyed seeing how FL stuck up for her sister after learning how much her sister had suffered/endured and how she cared for her. Sad to see how society/communities/families ostracized Beiyu when they should have supported/cared for her. I'm looking forward on seeing the progression of the romance between the leads.

Once, someone commented on how I didn't update to 'currently watching' a drama (in order to be able to comment) 🤦🏻‍♀️and I chose not to justify it with a reply. 😄

On MDL, I noticed that some people, sadly, are afraid to share at times because their viewpoints/shares might be construed as 'negative'/going against the current if it differs. No matter on the 'likes' (on comments, etc) or ratings, do share accordingly/respectively (maybe others feel the same way). 🤷🏻‍♀️. At times, I even find the trolling/antagonistic comments to be comedic (I'd say to myself...are they (trolls) for real?) lol 😆

Same on not updating until I’m done!

I had a lot of dramas that I left as ‘currently watching' so nowadays I just don’t update it to currently watching! 🤣
