What I liked about your post was that you candidly shared your perspective (i.e. chemistry).

Once, someone commented on how I didn't update to 'currently watching' a drama (in order to be able to comment) 🤦🏻‍♀️and I chose not to justify it with a reply. 😄

On MDL, I noticed that some people, sadly, are afraid to share at times because their viewpoints/shares might be construed as 'negative'/going against the current if it differs. No matter on the 'likes' (on comments, etc) or ratings, do share accordingly/respectively (maybe others feel the same way). 🤷🏻‍♀️. At times, I even find the trolling/antagonistic comments to be comedic (I'd say to myself...are they (trolls) for real?) lol 😆

Same on not updating until I’m done!

I had a lot of dramas that I left as ‘currently watching' so nowadays I just don’t update it to currently watching! 🤣

I also love the Emperor, Empress and the consort from love in the galaxy! I always feel like having a strong supporting cast also heighten the pleasure of the drama for their viewers! 🤩✨🙌

I won’t take away from this drama but I haven’t been paying full attention! Joy of life will always have a special place for me because I like dramas/novels done intelligibly and it looks like it’s the case for you as well! 😀 take care

Before I get inundated and get the plots all messed up with the four periods/historical dramas, I thought I’ll make this post… lol 😂 🤦🏻‍♀️

The only similarities between this drama and joy of life are the time travel, comedy, and a little confusion regarding the female leads identity in the beginning! That’s about it!

FL: as I shared with my MDL friends, I was hesitant to watch this drama because I didn’t like her character (off putting) in a drama ‘in between’ ! I’m glad I gave this drama a chance because Iam enjoying it starting episode 15 and the FL is pretty & 👍 in this. She actually looks good ( especially without that headdress, even though it’s necessary)! 👍✨

😂 Juvenile middle aged father....lol It was hilarious when he shared some tips on a 'happy' marriage at the wedding...I'm like "really?" lol 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

I feel pretty safe traveling in Asia, especially in Singapore, China, Korea, Japan, etc., with all the CCTV!

Another component is the courtesy component because when you put a bag on an empty chair, especially at a busy restaurant in Asia it can be construed as you’re saving it for somebody! At a busy crowded restaurant every seat counts! 😸

I find that a lot of people reminds me to zip up my handbag when I’m traveling in Europe because of all the theft that result even when you’re riding public transportation or walking around! 🤦🏻‍♀️

This is why I like MDL; I learned something new about Germany today! 👍🤩

LOL You're NOT being rude at all; I like directness as opposed to going in circles or passive aggressive (typical of US west coast) lol I'm direct and went to school on the east coast of US (among other things) , therefore, I'm acclimated to people who are straight shooters (funny at times). I have affinities toward old people and young Childs because they talk sans filters at times and I find it comical! lol

I like(d) how you also experienced the 'something' with your parents lol

Wow, you even invested 3 eps. They are introducing in other characters in eps 10. Tbh, I've been disappointed in many asian dramas but overall, it is still more entertaining than US movies/dramas for me. I understand some of what you're writing because I find myself even fast forwarding on some female/male lead characters in a few dramas.

Understood on not needing extension!
