Believe it or not, I liked the drama the Yang Dynasty (oldie) because the casts ensemble was 'unreal' (The Who's who of the Golden TVB era). Beauties and handsome TVB stars.

Speaking of Wu Ze Tian, do you remember the one with Fong Bo Bo? lol 🤣 My beloved mom who lived in HK for a few years watched that one.

Its good to see some TVBs stars in China's productions.

Definitely like historicals/ancients c dramas but can 't get into the Republican eras one.

At first I couldn’t understand why she keeps addressing him as erlang when there’s only two of them present lol 😂 However at times I would address others even when there’s only two of us present prior to talking to them, Especially my elders. Therefore I think it’s a respect thing.
Furthermore I’m not sure what age her character is supposed to be in this drama So her demeanor can come off as unattractive to some. 👌😂 Oh well.,,

I caught on late but I actually liked Goodbye My Princess. There are always flaws in every dramas but some are better than others! I also liked Ashes of Love, The King's Woman (Believe it or not), etc. Even at a young age, I have heard about WZT from my beloved mom as well as watching HK and China dramas about her(instead of his) story. ;)

I'm watching the Red Sleeve as well but I have girl crushes on KJY and KHS (Love Alarm) so I'd recommend Lovers of the Red Sky. Hometown Cha Cha Cha was meh for me. Sry! 🤷🏻‍♀️ There is a u tube video of YB's dance off in a BTS of Gank Your Heart; you'd like it.

I saw in an interview with SY; she mentioned even though she appreciates her character and being part of this production, she feels enviable towards the other leads since they are always in 'adventures/etc'' and get to film at different scenaries/outings. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Thanks for sharing and I agree with your subjective opinions/reviews! I'm just appreciating the quality of this drama and how it will, hopefully, raised the bar for other dramas.

I find that I tend NOT to forward any scenes; in fact, I also rewatched some episodes already. Not being a novice to Asian dramas, I feel that this drama deserves a higher rating on here since there are a lot of k-dramas (which I can't seem to get into or finish) with higher rating! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ Don't misconstrue; I like both C and K dramas but there are a lot of 'nonsense' dramas these days. 🤣

I'm rooting for LR because she deserves some feelings to be reciprocated. I actually adore Yibo being a troll in real life towards girls and how aloof he is. Therefore, this is the 'right' role for him. He really lucked out with his other leads and to be able to be part of this.

Sigh...have to wait till next Weds. Not sure why iq didn't offer some accelerations for $$$ so we can finish this. Keep on enjoying...

I really enjoyed WZT's delineations of her children's strengths/weaknesses/etc today as well; she is by far the most toned down and calm WZT's depiction I've seen in dramas (liking it). It derived from an angle of a 'mom'.

As for LR's character, there is a reason why James Bond or any agents cannot have 'loved ones' near because they will turn out to be their weaknesses. If you do not mind my candor, I do like a bit of romance.
