@jamila 🤦🏻♀️🤣 Did you see the scene with the conversation between stepmom and her elderly mom? It will make you understand a little about her behavior and why she is not supportive of this marriage (this is a courtesy that the novel did not not include). I feel like she might come around in time. They need someone like her to drag it to 30 eps....I must admit; I have been ff on the family scenes in this drama. The side players/characters are not as fascinating as O&O for me. Sry but I do like Wen Xing, Ren, Uncle Lin, Lin Fei, etc.

YES or at least watch it simultaneously! I consider myself lucky enough to enjoy O&O first and waited to watch this drama so I can CHEER for the MLs: ZSC and SY because they are so deserving of a happy ending.
Furthermore, the boy, I meant Allen Ren, looks so GOOD in O&O. lol 🤣 The side characters were good as well and added to the show with their good acting skills, dynamics, and added comedies.

@AlilaNguyen I was like "WHAT?!$(*' but it became comedic after reading the posts from people on TLB's board. For me, a hopeless romantic at times, I like the build ups, the precludes or any insinuations/gradual feelings build ups....i.e. how ZSC asked the boatman that he can see SY's affinity towards him? awww...🤩
