The ideal woman for a powerful man, not for a nobody fighting to survive. She is perfect for the Duke because he is already powerful and doesn’t need to form an alliance. An ambitious scholar would have no way to progress without a back up.

Princess doesn’t share the same mother as emperor so she most likely has a powerful back up (I assume strong family on her mother’s side). Would be different if they had the same mother. Every clan protects its own interests

They did her dirty - she is such a stunning woman and did not do justice to her beauty. On some posters they used beautiful peachy/pinkish shades that look gorgeous. Yellow is horrid

I adore the interaction between the leads as although the ML is overpowering he’s never been disrespectful to the FL. He’s actually the person who’s been the most respectful to her. And he never gets upset when she challenges back. You can tell he doesn’t expect anything in return but just love her company. That breakfast scene looked like a honeymoon scene - darling, i let you sleep in late and asked the maids to buy meat buns. LOL Duke is not fooling me - he’s whipped. In tomorrow’s episode He’s invited her to watch a play. Like dude is literally grooming her to become his wife by organising these cute « dates ». I’m dying
