But she was not considered to be a noble I think and she was only 15/16 when she got married so don't think she had a coming of age ceremony. Her ex was poor so he definitely wouldn't have been invited to parties. And when she went out she used to wear a veil. So it is very plausible that no one in these noble families would recognize her. The only person who did was the shop owner.

The ML doesn't look like he is in his 20's - he looks more mature so it works. In most dramas the ML is much older than the FL and people don't mind.
