I don't think the point of the show was to give our deductive skills a workout. Especially for those who've read the novel. What I took away from it was that it really highlighted the unfair portrayal of female victims in the media, which unfortunately still happens today. It also touched on the importance of embracing our differences and being aware of how easily we can be influenced by what we see in the news.
That being said, I liked it enough to finish it. If you're looking for a heart-pounding thriller, this might not be it. But if you're in the mood for a visually stunning and engaging production, then I say go for it!
Yes. It's about the portrayal of female victims in the media during the 90s, and a detective who is disliked by many due to his "different" approach. Despite this, he refuses to tolerate injustice and corruption and with the help of a journalist, will restore honor to the female victims.
I have not read the original novel nor did I finished the drama yet but this is what I grabbed from the first 5 episodes.
It's 2$, let's not be cheap now. It's amateurish and indeed all over the place but it's still enjoyable. And you can just wait for all eps and pay 2$ once.
"For a Thai series is quite the compliment" Yikes. Your culture is not the standard. I think you should use another…
I did not. I'm half European and lived half of my life there. Don't worry about it. I know perfectly what "you" are used to. I never said comparing wasn't ok, you just don't have to be condescending about it. Respect is free.
It's already insane to me that they never revealed important names officially < I would say this is exactly why…
I didn't say the names since they were never revealed, just the kind of people involved, it wasn't only random people on internet. I find this info very important to remind people to never blindly follow celebs etc.
I hope not... There are like 50 this year alone already!
Oh, I forgot about this tbh lol. All good here.
I'm noting what you said about my delusional comment. It's something we use as a joke in my culture, I had no idea it was considered name calling so I won't use it anymore here.
The "BL fans are crazy" was a joke to her comment "Thanks for giving me an opportunity to be as petty as ya'll". That's why she replied with "Don't be too hard on yourself. XD" because I, of course, do watch BLs. The vibe matched that's why we knew it was all jokes.
Anyways- Yes, misunderstandings can happen all the time behind a screen and it's always hard to tell. Though I still think it was a funny exchange when we realized how ridiculous this all sounded XD

Breaks my heart to see them gone, again.
