While patriotic individuals, the ones from yuelou, from common people to lord, a one family, would do anything necessary to safeguard their land and people, will die and take lives easily in their cause. And a maiden thinking she is bound by the mountains and her village, yearning for freedom, is going through the biggest transformation than anyone in the drama, a self righteous person, living in her little bubble, stumbles at every step and is embroiled in conspiracies, power struggles and in between two most complex people. Iam eager to see what does circumstances make out of her, a clean sheet of paper, and what kind of scenery does she paints with her choices.

Shen Miao does some grey things and goes to extreme, we have past and present flashbacks all the way, donghua gives more freedom than dramas. Drama will need an extensive trimming, while novel has such a perfect revenge, it become crooked. Moreover they can make appearances of the people according to Writer, and donghua have more beautiful people than in real life. Biggest example is Jing Xuan from the Island of Siliang

They can actually design characters according to novel, and don't need to worry about so many rules and regulations, and they can also stay true to story with as many episodes as necessary.
