In the drama timeline they met when she was 15 and he 25 (she’s giving him the pasties in the cage) and it’s now 8 year later so the FL is 23 a not very you g and not very old. BaiLu has a very mature looking face (bold beauty I like to call it) and in some scenes seems young and on others ‘older’, but to me the ‘older’ is from the pain and wisdom she carries in her eyes - this added with the realistic aesthetic means the eyes aren’t tricking the brains knowing. That said, I really appreciate watching ‘older’ and ‘old’ folks in dramas - we all are y ou no and if we are blessed, we all get old and it’s refreshing to see this in the drama.

I was thinking the same thing - but that it reminds me of post Xu Kai and I can’t help think it might have something to do with the ZL mess (she snubbed him at the last awards I think). I am noticing that she is a hit maker for her male leads and this tends to bring her hate if their fans are intensely jealous😅
