KH, the most annoying girl on campus. Srly, I don't care whether they break up or not, but I really can't stand it with characters that won't even listen before making decisions.
If they were gonna change pfp, why not change it to a better one? There's so many good pictures of Jun-ho they could've chosen, and they picked this one....
I think it's likely that Gong Myung is playing Sejo's brother Anpyeong that was first exiled and then executed…
Yeah, is just, the crown prince in the drama is described as ill already, so that's why I thought from the first episode that the crown prince is Munjong, which would only leave Anpyeong for Gong Myung, as it is clear that is not Kwak Shi Yang's role.
With the disclaimer that the drama is fiction and not based on real events/persons, I thought that maybe this was a coincidence as I haven't read the novel the drama is based on. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Time will tell...
I know this is heavily fictionalised but Kwak Shi Yang is playing the guy that eventually becomes King Sejo (and…
I think it's likely that Gong Myung is playing Sejo's brother Anpyeong that was first exiled and then executed on Sejo's orders, as Sejo's older brother Munjong (who had fathered the nephew you mentioned) was ill and passed away shortly after becoming king. But, is just my own theory atm.
yeah, it's a pity. Had watched maybe 20 mins(?) of the first episode but had to stop cuz the subs made no sense (and I'm not even talking about the rapid pace!). So although I held little hope there would be better subs available, I thought one could always ask here just in case. ^^
'It's different with dramas that are "original works", rather than based on preexisting material as is the case with this series', was simply that I was trying to convey with my first comment. But perhaps I interpreted the "expect too much for this drama" part less positively than what you had intended. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The eps are getting shorter and shorter... It was supposed to have just 10eps before but now they add 2eps more…
eh, no. it has had said 12 eps on mdl all along. and other than with the release of ep 1-2, the episodes has been 1 per week, so nothing strange about that.
Can't say for certain as I've so far only seen 2 episodes of this remake, but those two episodes did deal with…
Well, I loved the original (one I def could rewatch), but so far this remake isn't that interesting for me. Suppose it is partly because I already know what to expect.
Ok, look. I loved the original Ferryman (3 seasons, I added them as recommendations). But I'm really trying, here.…
yeah, have seen 4 episodes of this, and so far the only major difference I spotted was that they changed the order of ep 3 and 4 (the story in ep 4 was originally ep 3), and that Dong Qing was 8 when he entered the orphanage in the remake instead of 5 like in the original series.
Will try to finish this one, but I suspect it'll take some real effort for me as Zhao Li seem to be the only interesting character here.
As for the white eyes... isn't that due to the shaman woman (whose name I couldn't bother to remember) performing some mind-controlling dark magic?

Maybe I'll eventually watch it (despite current subs/will have to practise my pitiful Chinese), but not anytime soon I'm afraid.

Though, I'm not overly worried. Am looking forward to ep 11. ^^
Like, it's inevitable to feel sorry for some of the characters, but it's not like you're going to cry your eyes out.

Ah, that must be why I find him wooden.
