Hello again. A little update on my thoughts:
Have watched the original series on iQiyi now (1st season, and half of 2nd), and at least that one wasn't with episodes meant to make viewers cry.
Some stories were ofc a bit more heartbreaking than others, but mostly they were interesting, and some scenes had humor to it.

Have checked ep 3 and 4 of this remake, and so far they haven't really added anything new to the story.
The remake isn't that bad for a reboot, but personally I found the characters to be more charming (better actors/actresses?) in the original. Esp the ML.
Here he feels a bit "wooden", so to speak.

Finished this series, and rather liked it.
Will continue with 2nd season.

Based on his performance in Ferryman, I think I'll like this actor.

Np. Hope you'll find another series that's more up your alley in that case. ^^

Can't say for certain as I've so far only seen 2 episodes of this remake, but those two episodes did deal with one 'dead' person/case per episode, so I guess it might be kept like that.

Found the original series on iQui, so am watching that one simultaneously. ^.^

Agree about the subs, and I think it's a pity you can't download it.
Would be nice to be able to watch the series even without wifi connection.

Have seen two episodes of the remake, and now watched ep 1 of this one.
and while I don't mind the remake thus far, I still prefer the ep 1 mother here than in the remake.
Not that the actress in the remake was bad, it was just something about that story I didn't enjoy as much.
Anyways, will keep watching both versions, though I think I'll finish this one first and then watch the rest of the remake.

Haven't seen the original series (seems impossible to find too ㅜㅜ), but liked the first episode of this remake.

Well, at least his creepiness factor has been somewhat consistent throghout the series. lol

What is with Kang Hee and giving bracelets back? Dunno whether to laugh or cry, really.
But since they'll prolly make up again anyhow, it only serves to make her character annoying.

My native language isn't English either, so I do know where you're coming from.
There are still plenty abbreviations and sayings I have no idea of their meaning.

When watching the first episode, I couldn't tell there was that much of an "age gap" between them.

Well, if she was born in -94, then yes she is 27.

So if you haven't watched it yet, then how can you write a "review-like" comment?
Cuz one could erroneously think that you had seen it.

Yeah, shortly after posting my comment, I made an edit to this page to change the status from "airing announced" to "ongoing".
So, I think that's why...

Have seen ep 1 now, and like it so far, but why is it not possible to have the drama on "currently watching" on this site yet? :o
