I'm a sucker for rom coms but don't think romance needs to be forced into every genre. At least make him a simp for the right person. I agree with others. It’s giving The Impossible Heir vibes and the fact that it has 16 eps makes it even harder to give it a try.
yes tho if those people are webtoon readers then I can understand because there’s a whole arc of hanul which…
I don't think many people have read the original tho. Forget about redeeming qualities,I haven't even seen any of his qualities. He hasn't had enough screentime yet for me to connect with him.
Five episodes in, Idk why I’ve only seen edits of Han Ul on Instagram and TikTok, with people saying they can’t hate him. I mean, there’s no redeeming or impressive quality about him so far. People seem to prefer rich characters for no reason.
Never in my life have I liked action movies. I've always skipped action scenes. But here, I keep rewatching those scenes. Huge respect to the editors of this drama. They took their time to edit it and it shows.
Two episodes in, and I want to stop watching because it’s so good that I don’t want it to end. I knew I’d like it, but I didn’t expect to love it this much
Unlike popular opinion, I'm actually glad they showed the FL's POV in the second episode. The scenes weren’t the same at all. However, it was quite slow, like some movie types. A cinephile who enjoys that kind of movie might like it, but for me, I can watch a bad story with an engaging screenplay but not a good story with a slow screenplay. It took me one week to watch two episodes.
This is the kind of drama you'd play in the background while doing something else. But I can’t do that since I have to read the subtitles too. I guess I’ll still stick with it since it only has 10 episodes.
Someone please tell me honestly, is the screenplay slow? I'm already watching one slow drama and don’t want to start another. Even if I do, I’d just like a heads-up
I'm going to watch it for the second lead couple. They're going to be so hot together! I hope they get a decent amount of screentime because, these days, second couples barely get any. I don't know why they don't do age appropriate casting like this more often
