1. Kyung Ho said he developed those abilties while he was locked up (probably as a child). Maybe it was through intense meditation/concentration that he unlocked it?
2. The wife left to save the child because she knew Kyung Ho would be after it no matter what. She was gonna fake that she miscaried so that maybe Kyung Ho would think child is dead, but obviously it did not work cuz he still found out child was alive. And the only way to protect the child then was to leave it in his care.
3. I just assumed that father couldn't get rid of his cult ways. Some people like to be in power and cults are one way to achieve it. The father/daughter fought over it cuz she disagreed with the idea of a center being created again. She probably knew what happed at the old one. She also hated her dad anyway.
how is the horror in this ? jump scares? music? does it have the "what's going on" vibe to it ?
No jump scares, but it has an eery, creepy vibe to it, especially with the sounds. Music can be creepy or upbeat for thriller. It will def keep u questioning.
Yay for cdrama love! This was a really interesting article. Out of the top 10 ranked, I've seen 9/10. Love and Redemption was my least favorite, but the rest are quality dramas. I'm surprised One and Only made Top 10 Historical Ranked just because it is so recent. I've seen all dramas from Top 10 Popular Overall and Top 10 Popular Modern. Some of my favorites are definitely on these lists.
I enjoyed most of these dramas, but i agree, they were all overhyped. π Move to Heaven and Navilerra were still kind of refreshing. Actually, I thought Hot Stove League was overhyped as well. ^^;; When it comes down to it, it's an average (but enjoyable) business drama. Doom at Your Service was really meh. I've been trying to build my tolerance for slow paced dramas. I guess it's a personal preference for a lot of people? Anyways, the first thing I do when a drama is being hyped is check to see which "oppas" are in it. π¬

First of all, congrats on your first article! I really enjoyed it, especially since I'm a fan of urban fantasy and love supernatural dramas. I've seen plenty of uncanny business dramas. The case per week thing can sometimes get annoying since I'm not the biggest fan of episodic type plots, but I generally know these dramas will always hit the spot. I wouldn't mind more of this genre as long as it doesn't get overdone, which would ruin the appeal of the genre. There's already a lot of diner/restaurant ones out there.
p.s. Taste of Cat and its sequel (Cat's Bar) is a cute series. It's uncanny business, but on the lighter side. Not as dark as the ones typically found in this genre.
As you can probably tell from the cover, it's basically a smut drama. ML may ring off some warning bells since he wants to be dominant and controlling, but this basically comes with the territory for this genre. Β―\_(γ)_/Β―
