To switch things up I usually watch dramas from a different country. If I get tired of Asian, I switch to western, but usually switching to Japanese or Thai dramas will do the trick since I watch majority Korean and Chinese dramas.

Also, sometimes I watch something that's completely trashy (not necessarily guilt pleasure soap, but more like something to vent your anger and frustration on). Sometimes you gotta watch something bad to appreciate the good dramas out there lol.

Love the mental health advice! ♥

Another great article! I always thought the boss/employee relationship percentage relationship would be higher since it's such a cliché, but I'm glad writers are trying to step away from that. I'm a total sucker for the Cohabitation storyline, so I'm always down to see those dramas regardless of who's in power.

The childhood connection is becoming more and more common in dramas lately. I feel like some dramas don't even get tagged because it's a spoiler/plot twist that gets revealed later on in the series. I looked at the last 10 dramas I completed. 4 of them had a childhood connection, but none were tagged as such. For example Her Private Life and Todome no Kiss.

confusing you say? :) i can explain it to you if you want I've rewatched ep 1-20 like 3 times already ahahaha
I've seen up until 23. I get what's going on, but they vaguely hint at a lot of things that are to come, but then the transition to the next scene will be so abrupt and confusing. It's so hard to read the Second Lead in the beginning and even the emperor brother is hard to read, but you know there's something going on there with his relationship with her. What I am confused about is his relationship with the grand empress. They don't get along, but WHY??

So far, this drama is okay for me. I've seen ones that are much better and this just seems to make the mark for average good drama in comparison. I think I'm not liking the flow, editing, and transitions of the story. It's pretty confusing to follow, especially in the beginning. But it does have eye candy and a brooding prince so there's that.

This would be so good if they continue to give the actions of the mother a creepy and dark vibe. I don't want…
Very true. It's a very one sided depiction of this woman.

Yes, main two characters end up together.

I've watched this at least twice and almost every single remake. Hana Yori Dango will forever be my favorite though. I don't plan on watching BOF again because my favorite version is the Japanese one.

The production conference news has already said that this drama will challenge moral boundaries, it's gonna be…
This is super helpful. Thanks!
