This is probably one of my favorite makjangs and the only one that I've rewatched.

I liked this remake better than the original. They took out a lot of negative character traits and plot elements I didn't like in the original. However, they also removed the comedy aspect of the drama. It's not completely devoid of humor though. Instead it's more of a realistic, heartwarming drama.

I'm finding the talk show super cheesy so far.... *hides from fangirls*

It's a blockbuster drama with top notch stunts, action choreography, and cinematography...that aside the plot really sucks (and has many plot holes). I hate 90% of the characters. I wanted to drop it so badly, but luckily it's getting slightly more interesting in the second half for me. I can't believe this was written by the same writers as Empress Ki and History of a Salaryman. I had higher expectations for them.

That first sentence had me cracking up. xD This seems like a great family drama. Can't wait to check it out when it's over.

This movie is meant for little kids, so I'm probably too old to appreciate the comedy that was in it. It has absolutely freaking adorable little kids and monkeys in it though.

This had really great writing, but was very difficult for me to get through due to its episodic nature. I'd recommend watching no more than 2 episodes at a time.

I always thought the acupressure beds were there as product placement. xD It's either that or someone opens up a fried chicken store.

I'm excited for a ton of these remakes, but also low key worried the some of the cdrama remakes of jdramas will be turned into something super fluffy in cases it would not really be appropriate (judging from the posters).

OMG what a shocking turn of events in episodes 9 and 10!! Things were so fluffy and then this happens. This might explain a lot about the vague synopsis.

Better late than never! Great article as always. ♥ What an eventful year. I think the most shocking for me were the Chinese Hip hop ban, Fan Bing Bing's arrest, and Dramafever shutting down.

This is kind of a gender bender. Chu Lu deliberately hides the fact that she is female from her classmates and teachers for an ulterior purpose. She could also be considered a tomboy or trans, but she wasn't up until she joined the school. There was an event that happened that made her change. It's still too early on to tell though and this messy writing isn't helping.
