One of my favorite storylines because it's so inspiring. :) They usually mostly fall under the Sports genre, but there are other non sports like Dragon Zakura/God of Study.

Yesss, villains! LOVE this article. One of the biggest dead giveaways for me for kdrama mastervillains is old rich man gardening (usually in the beginning of the drama). Writers do this far too often.

Thai female villains are fun to spot because they make it so obvious sometimes. This is mainly for melodramas, but can be applied to mysteries....the nangrai (female antagonist) will usually wear red lipstick (to show she is bold) or look super cute and innocent with soft makeup, cute curls, and holding a wicker basket. She will look super naive and innocent, but will go on to become a serial killer later in the series. For men, it's usually rich guy from rival company/farm or a member of the family (that didn't get inheritance or not rightful heir). In Family We Trust has less obvious of drama villain and is one of my favorites.

I'm gonna go ahead and call this a mild slap/kiss. ML is a genuinely nice guy, but in order to maintain his bandit image and protect the FL, there is some slapping/kissing involved. It is not as bad as most slap/kiss lakorns...it is more playful and flirty?? It's probably not bad enough to be tagged Slap and Kiss, but I thought I'd give people a heads up here.

Thanks for the article! I need to check out so many lakorns now. Out of the airing dramas, Bpai Hai Teung Duang Dao and Dung Duang Haruetai catch my interest because of the cast. I need to binge Sapai Import and Rabam Mek next. The timing of this article couldn't be more perfect because I'm currently marathoning lakorns.

For those of you who are weirded out, I don't think she will actually end up with the cat. I'm assuming he'll be playing more of a match maker role. Here goes nothing I guess.

I deleted this drama from my mind. X_X That wig was atrocious. I mean, they really tried to make it work, but the quality was really bad. To be fair, I know it's really hard work putting a whole drama together, but I've seen youtubers come out with better quality videos than Boys Over Friends. It was these two points that disappointed me. It might've done better if they had marketed it as a parody instead.

1. I'm Sorry, I Love You [2004] (totally shredded my heart)
2. Bu Bu Jing Xin (Scarlet Heart)
3. Battle of Changsha
4. Ja Myung Go
5. Chuno

1 Liter of Tears would probably make it to my list too, but I absolutely refuse to watch it.

Even if it sucks, I guess I have to be grateful to this drama for something. I randomly saw your comment, checked…
Welcome to the fandom. :)

I'm seeing a lot of mixed reviews for this. This drama's focus is heavy on law and debate. There is a lot of thought provoking conversation and dialogue. I personally enjoyed it, but if that is not your thing then skip this one. Also, this is not a romance drama so do not expect any romance no matter how much you ship it.

For Suits fans, this is a loose adaptation of Suits, not quite a remake. Although some scenes and sequences are copied exactly from the original. Luo Bin is no Harvey, but he is still an interesting and lovable character to follow.

So this isn't your typical sports drama. It's more of a hotel management/resort management type of drama. The CEO (ML) that comes in has little management skills to begin with and learns as he goes, which is unusual for these types of cdramas (where MLs are usually 'know it all' CEOs).
