On My Girlfriend Is the Man! Aug 27, 2025
I was actually waiting for the plot to thicken to write this under the comment section, but this episode was pure queerbaiting at this point, like what do you mean the mother reacted like if Jieun x Yunjae were actually together while she was in the boy's corpse?
Yunjae doesn't even dare touch her while in her man body. Why does the show need the mother to react like she ACTUALLY saw two men together? His son is the insecure one in the first place.
The fact that he can't say a deliberate 'NO' to Minju as well, is kinda crazy too.
Are we actually frfr with this drama?

The story is deranging, in a sense that nothing really makes sense and every action is palpable.
Why would someone leave their door open for anybody to come in, and why is Natsuo so creepy? 😭
Also, after so many years, if you personally consider someone in your past a 'bully', why would you let him in your salon as if nothing happened and even agree to date him as 'revenge'? Are we okay? That is exactly why I think this story gives the whole thing away and is absolutely bullocks.

Day 1 of agreeing to date ...and ur already univited coming to the house, no message no nothing..I just wake up and ur there... DAYUM. I'm calling the police.

I had no hopes diving into this series ngl (personal preference), usually I don't indulge into thai productions, but I wanted to give this one a chance since I really liked Keng in 'Paradise of Thorns' alongside Jeff Satur.
The trailer was promising, the storyline was fresh and unique.
Episode 1 gave me an unusual feeling of a new start in Thai productions. Domundi really spent MONEY on this project. The visual effects were clean, the sounds not to over the top, the actors were IN their roles, everything unfolded naturally in this first episode at least.
As I like to believe: 'The morning sets the tone for the day', I won't be too quick to judge but as a first episode..it just hit different.
A super praise to Namping's acting as well, his eyes have that 'natural' spark of emotions that you can definetely feel through the screen. That is an inborn quality that holds a lot of power, if used correctly.

I hope we can continue to enjoy this series! ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀

I am enjoying the story as of now, but I keep thinking that the format is so much wasted potential.
If the producers were more perceptive, they also would have thought of a better delivery system.
The vertical concept is making the short series a painful watch. To be honest, all of the vertical framed projects are difficult to watch.
I wish this particular story had a little more rearranging.

This show is easily one of the best produced series in the whole thai industry imo.
It has everything, from the cast to the quality of the scenes and story follow up.
The original story manga readers will adore this one, it's the main characters coming to life. The ost, the songs, the beats used are well thought of, the scenes highlight the real deal too. They even changed some parts of the original manga for the better, and did not forget about the storyline.
The reviews are well deserved, and hopefully they rocket up more to inspire other teams with their work.
GG to everyone involved.

Everything about this series so far is exceptionally well thought of. From the actors, to the style, to the production, quality, characters development... finally something good from thai gods.

I will never get why producers think it's okay to give us queer adaptations and forget what it means to actually…
While I do think Ji Ho and Sang Jun are very much to be praised for taking unconventional roles for a drama, I must say...the serving wasn't served.

I will never get why producers think it's okay to give us queer adaptations and forget what it means to actually portray GAY characters. This show started slow (exactly how I expected it) and milked Chanyoung's and Ji Yu's relationship while totally missing actual development between the two MAIN characters which are Heesu and Seungwon (not Chanyoung nor Ji Yu whom are side characters). They rushed those 5 minutes to Seungwon finally smiling and them holding hands in the bus. That was it....what about the development?? I was expecting a slow burn not a blackout blank ending ;-;.

Also what were those whole 'steal the scene', 'Chanyoung plays tennis' moments? Am I even watching Heesu In Class 2 anymore? ˙◠˙

This was everything back then, and I think it should be remembered.
Sarawattine laid the path to the real bl industry. If this had the chance to be be produced today, obviously things would change. They would have had more intimate scenes and expressions of feelings. The producers would not hold back in the scripts, nor the actors selected.
I still appreciate the original actors who have a connection to their characters to this day, that means they were passionate while working on their craft. They remember where they come from, and that's always heartwarming.
This said, I love how far we've come with pairings and projects, but sometimes...nostalgia hits. In the back of my head, I always wish Sarawattine had an update little series, where we see how far they've come.

So far, especially in episode 2, i'm loving the dynamic between Heesu and Seungwon, it brings me back to the good old days when I was reading the manhwa! ꒰ᐢ. .ᐢ꒱₊˚⊹ ᰔ
Though, I still think that the way Ahn Jiho is portraying Heesu is not what I was originally thinking, it's a fresh viewpoint i'm adopting right now.
Lee Sang Jun on the other hand, is definetely in tune with Seungwon! I love too see it!
Overall their chemistry is building up!

U're brutally honest as much as u're brutally incorrect .
Classifying ain't mean anything in here, I'm clearly going with the development direction type of viewpoint.
Good luck backing eachother up, I'm out -

Again, whatever you wanted to explain here isn't clear and distances itself from what I reasonably explained...why in the first place I responded to ur comment.
Regarding the other comments, of course I wasn't referring to your explanation but to the other people, assuming ur position regarding the matter.
Age of consent is not age of development (still barely legal at 18), but it seems like it's easier to put things how you want to, and point your finger at me.
Try writing sentences in a better, non-argumentative way next time, so people won't criticize you in a 'cringey' way lol.
The jokes write themselves.

So dear Perry, first of all make it make sense.
Second of all, this was your phrase : 'hopefully it's just makeup and not plastic surgery' which explains itself (If you might wanna check the answers to ur your comment, I might have not been the only one assuming this was targeted against the use of plastic surgery..I smell gaslighting...)

To correct you, he WAS barely legal, he was just 18-19 when he filmed for and acted on 'Don't Say No', so get all of ur facts right before raging.
All the cringe you talk about is right there in your answer to me, don't get too offended if you don't know your facts.
Your comment on his plastic surgery or not, should be held accountable, righfully so.

The answer I wrote to you was regarding what I assumed was backlash against plastic surgery, thats a whole point you missed, on your part...and yes I will refer to his age when talking about differences in the years he has made physically.
5, 4, 3 years is a lot for a teen-adult growing up, it's not only him growing up it's us too, we see those differences too..from when ur 19 or 20 to when ur 23.
If you now you wanna go back your words and make it seem like your phrase had a whole different meaning to it, okay. But what I interpreted, was the viewpoint of many right under your post.
P.s. 18 is still a whole child (I don't know where u're from but 18 is a whole child, right there..)

For a thai-production quality adaptation, this has surpassed many's expectations.
The actors have good chemistry and the plotline isn't too far off the original story for now.
Perfection doesn't exist, even in homeland adaptations, so we will see how everything goes in the future episodes.
I also wanna add that the soundtrack and special effects are something very attuning for the series, they did a pretty solid job.
In my opinion, something 'fresh' to see. Keep 'em coming :))

I heard about Japan's 'will' to broadcast all the series that never got a chance to air in mainland China!
Hopes are to be held high, maybe they will broadcast this series too...maybe we will see the light through Japan.
For now, I've heard 'Justice in The Dark' will start this month through 'WOWOW' a japanese platform. https://www.wowow.co.jp/detail/200492
'Chasing the light' (which is another one of my faves too), is rumored to be broadcasted soon too...
For Duomeng... i'll leave this edit here made by @lovelyuhao: https://x.com/nanimedias/status/1785706397797425164 , I wish we can see this soon!
