Apparently LBY was with the two men in the pagoda plotting to overthrow the Crown Prince, that's why he got there…
This scenes really tones down in drama. It can make us understand why CSS is afraid of LBY - he just get rid those guys, and to made the story convincing, he told CSS that he will break her arms even its ended with him broken his. Its sweet, playful, but borderline disturbing.

I don’t understand why some don’t recognize Luo Yao character πŸ˜πŸ™πŸΌ He’s so sincere and innocent.…
The broken engagement is one of my fave scenes of this drama. I have high expectation because I really like this part from the novel, and to my delight, ZLS and YCE (also drama team) can presented this out perfectly. Yu Chengen, is one of the reasons why we shouldn't dismissive or offended if a drama was put 'idol actor - idol drama' label. Because this young actor(s/actresses), even the they emerge from survival show, they delivered and acted out their roles superbly.

I think that the naive and cruel is that forcing to sacrificing one's happiness. Thats why even in the court meetings, the Emperor left the decision to Lou and Cheng family. Its been point out by one of the minister. If this forced engagement is conducted, it will be precedent for another happenstance in the future.
The act of CSS and LY waiting on the gate for HZJ, is awkward, but both of them, especially LY, is the one that the most affected by this.

Just don’t get the hype. Have tried to like this drama.
Its a matter of preference. Just watch what you want to watch. In the end, watching dramas is not about riding the hype, but what to make one feel entertained and happyπŸ€—

O.. that's why.. But I'm glad that LLTG come out. And I read somewhere on Twitter, that LLTG's airing will be dragged until September, and after LLTG there will be no Sdrama from Tencent this year. I'm just grateful that LLTG was aired, despite the bow problem.

I like LY too, seeing CSS and LY is like teenagers with their first crush. Maybe CSS didn't love LY, but she genuinely like him. This relationship is important for CSS and LY character development.

Now that I have time I am confused whether I should start watching 'Love like the Galaxy' or 'Who rules the world'…
If you want to watch CP without any relationship drama (love triangle, misunderstanding, etc), watch WRTW, for CP with lots of drama, LLTG.
But maybe I recommend WRTW first, because it completed.

Because she can act well, attract views, chemistry with her partner is top notch whatever drama she's in, and I do think that the most important thing is, because her work ethic, she seems fun to work with.

Episode 11-12 is really good. The battle scenes done well and emotions throughout the scenes convey perfectly. Comedy, intense, guilt and sadness, sizzling chemistry then back to comedy have the perfect timing.
There are foreshadowing (that 7 years), and details about shaoshang string. LLTG really bring out so much excitement πŸ‘

And she also very passionate and was mischievous when was young, same as CSS☺️
She even say that she will do worse than CSS to her enemy 🀣🀣 And I think that she snitch CSS to toughen her.

I just think that, different individuals, household, society, and culture have their own form of approach. Saying it sound 'shitty' is kinda strong word, and in this story, CSS is raised in ancient Chinese household, when even a grown adult like Wan shu was beaten by his old mother. When I say my reaction is mild is because the reason for the punishment. Different from other episodes when she was accused wrongly, I applauded CSS for talking back to her mother, in episode 10, she did endangered others. That's why old madam Wan applauded CSS to seek her grievance, but then she told her parents about what CSS did knowingly that CSS will be punished. Personally, irl, do i condone beating? Yes. But on the context of this drama, there are different lens about corporal punishment. CSS 'soldier up' to receive this punishment even that was too harsh. But this punishment also delivered the story as a reason CSS parted ways with her mom and family. Hence, it makes me had conflicted feeling.
On Love Like the Galaxy: Part 1 Jul 8, 2022
My fave characters on ep 9-10 is Old Madam Wan. A tough, wise woman and matriarch, one that praise for other witty and mischief action, after that held them accountable to owned the aftertaste of that action.

Same with you, I have conflicted feeling with episode 10.
CSS deserve to be punished because she endangered others, even involving others that doesn't have a beef with her. Her family saw how YuanYi treat CSS before, yet they choose her to act as 'the bad guy', when they know how rough YuanYi will act when she was emotional.
In another perspective, it seems like CSS was ready for punishment and own her mistakes. When she said 'its a deal', it feels she expected it, that this mother-daughter relationship is unrepairable.
I don't like physical punishment, but my reaction towards this punishment is kinda mild comparing with that table scene on episode 6.

Disagree. As a soldier, she's smart. As a mom towards her neglected daughter, no. She makes CSS felt awful and makes her distant from her. Saying its a petty vengeance, but CSS is someone that experiencing years of abuse.

Of course it will be judging from 21st century metrics, because of it realistic, the investigation itself won't happen. As a general, LBY have to report to the Emperor first, then started investigation after getting Emperor permission. If it realistic, CSS had been dead after the abuse and neglected when she was sick, because healthcare for a neglected child is nonexistent.
