There are many of my favourite scenes to count, but the drum scene and Li Shi Liu's (& his Wanning River Crescent gang's) entrance scenes are at the top of my list. I can't sit still whenever the song "God of Night/ Night Walker" starts playing. I was WOWED every time. Another memorable scene is the proposal scene and snippets of their married life! They are so heart-warming and natural. Oh, and that iconic "jump off the cliff" scene! LOL I can still remember Nan Heng's scream XD! Both Liu Yu Ning and Li Yi Tong nailed their roles. Despite the harsh criticisms towards 'Song Yi Meng', I think she is one of the most relatable characters in comparison to all the heroic and sensible main characters we see all the time on-screen. Her character is like a breath of fresh air.

I think what Nan Heng wanted her to translate means, "To grow old together until their hair turns grey, and always love each other and stay united"; but she directly translated each Chinese word into English which sounds funny XD

I've been wondering the same thing every time I watch this. In the preview of the upcoming episode, where the 2 main leads are lying on the bed, Nan Heng mentioned that Song Yi Meng may also be a 'paper person' like him, and that her original world, in which she was an actress, might also be a world inside a storybook. This may also be a possibility, and as another person has mentioned above, the title of this drama itself is a HUGE HINT. It's just right under our noses.

When the drama ends, we're all gonna become philosophers at this rate. 😆😅

I watched that clip too. I didn't know he has married once. I was like, "What really??", and that was about it. He bravely confronted the people who dragged in two innocent and unrelated (as of now) human beings. That made me remember another famous public figure, Yuzuru Hanyu, who's a figure skater. Not long after his marriage, his supposed fans went after both his wife and her family, which later led to their divorce. They tried to settle things but didn't go their way I suppose. It was really sad.

They are too cute!!! My heart is gonna burst just watching them, both on-screen and off-screen XD

I've never been so invested in any discussion or commenting sections before (cuz mostly I watch them after all episodes have aired), but ADWAD is different. Despite all the contrasting views among the watchers, it's so fun to be part of it. It's like I'm not in this alone 😊. I'm also the latter.
