anybody watching glory and unclouded soul at the same time? which one do you prefer?
Each has its own strong points and beauty. Personally, I love The Unclouded Soul more, cuz I find it to be more endearing both plot-wise and chemistry (i.e. not only between romantic chemistry, but also about friendship and other bonding). Their journey to search for the Kunlun Mirror has many obstacles, it's delightful to watch how the leads overcome them and mature as they do.. In short, the whole drama is like a breath of fresh air.
Glory, on the other hand, has various smart and cunning characters, scheming for their own benefits. What I found especially intriguing was the tea production knowledge and their culture, which we usually won't see in other dramas. Visually striking, with good pacing.
Both are visually aesthetic and have interesting plots, but in the end, it depends on what type of drama (or genre) you feel more inclined to. :3

We'll wear "Hong Ye masks" π€£π€£π€£ He wouldn't know.. To be more believable, we'll step on a stool to match his height.. π€£π€£π€£ (Cuz I'm not sure my high heels would even workπ« π€ͺ)
I'm hesitant to start this (still seeing previews tho) cz we can see that he was betrayed in the past and yet…
I'm sure we'll get to see more about their past lives and understand why he acts that way in the current timeline. I recommend you to watch this not only for the leads but also for the beautiful cinematography, CGI and excellent plot twists. Although the drama starts with a light-hearted tone, there are many ups and downs in the story. However, I guarantee that even if Hong Ye and Xiao Yao had certain misunderstandings, they would quickly reconcile and would always look out for each other. Xiao Yao isn't a damsel in distress, who always needs the ML's protection, while the ML isn't also a domineering type of Demon Lord we usually see. The separation arc is minor, imo, cuz their sweet moments only get sweeter as of the latest episodes~ ^^
Please don't feel discouraged about the ML's absence in between, cuz you'll miss out on various other great things in [The Unclouded Soul]! You'll be able to watch various other beautiful, emotional and also fulfilling moments as we follow Xiao Yao on her journey~!
