Hello, dear Wispys~ [Whispers of Fate] has been a wonderful journey for me, helping me realise there's more to the drama than it has shown us. In a few episodes, we were introduced to the "Tuo Dragons", which look as majestic as they look terrifying for any living being to encounter. These creations in the drama are most likely references to the ancient "Makaras" and "Nagas". These serpent-like dragons are deeply connected to Hinduism and Buddhism across most of South Asia (such as India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka), Southeast Asia (including Myanmar (Burma), Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam), and also two of East Asia (China and Japan).
NOTE: We could confuse Makaras with Nagas (cuz I did :P), but there are several distinct features between the two mythical creatures. In certain traditional architectural and sculptural arts (Khmer Arts), the Makara is explicitly shown swallowing or disgorging the Naga, which symbolises a cycle of destruction and rebirth or the harnessing of water powers. While the Naga is seen emerging from the Makara's mouth.
IMHO Tang Lici had a better ending and storyline than Wang Quan Fugui. If Luo Yunxi and Cheng Yi do a drama together,…
I agree with you on that. Tang Li Ci had clear character development and found peace in the end. He fought tooth and nail for his goals before finally understanding and accepting what's best for everyone. As for dear Fugui, it was more like he found his freedom in the end (a salvation of sorts), and maybe some plots could've been changed for a better outcome. They were all deliberate cause and effects to make Fugui submit to the Demon, but even so, it's a pity we get that ending.. :') sigh~ but a beautiful tale nonetheless; it gave others a flicker of hope in the end...If they do a drama together, then it's time for us to buy new blankets, cuz tissues and towels won't be enough... Oh, somehow these two remind me of the male leads in Japanese drama [Ouroborous]. https://kisskh.at/10952-ouroboros
Luo Yun Xi's Tang Li Ci and Cheng Yi's Wangquan Fugui both have similar fates; having to carry huge burdens since birth to become perfect beings to maintain peace and ward off all evil things... The one person born to save humanity.
Hellllooooooo😍😍 I watched the finale in less than 20 mins😜.. beautiful ending for me. but Shi fu must…
Sorry for the late reply! I was adding an episode review, with tears and all, ahahah! XD 💯✨ It can be frustrating and devastating to watch, but when one's most important person leaves the world, even the most powerful person can turn into a completely different individual if extreme grief overwhelmed them. Just look at Liu Yan. I thought both TLC and LY were similar to a certain degree, and I was correct about that. There's just a thin line between righteousness and villainy with these two. If their roles had been swapped, the old TLC would've become the current LY. However, imo, TLC wouldn't walk LY's path for too long even if he were to become a villain. He'd correct his ways much earlier unlike his former friend~ And yesss!! We should!!😍🤩✨

TLC has done his best to protect those he loves and those who love him..ʕ´• ᴥ•̥`ʔ I've accepted this story as a life lesson; don't hold on to the past and move forward, and cherish the present while it lasts.. "Go find your own destiny. Some things are more important than life and de@th," Fang Zhou's words really hit hard.. 🥹
