My fellow Leo, don't leave me hanging! One of the things that I was holding out hope for is that the romance goes the adorable OG strong woman route!

Honestly, this is a mixture of good and cringe. I'm about 5-ish eps in, and it's not bad enough to drop but (for me) this wouldn't be a 10/10 either... For the lovers of the original that are hoping for a 2.0 of that, outside of the strong woman aspect this show has barely any similarities.
Some parts are cartoon-ish and overdone, the romance though cute is nothing as passionate/sizzling chemistry as Bong Soon. However, the crime aspect of this show seems better done, 2nd ML is a hottie lol, Nam-Soon has her own charms/quirks, and the women in the FL's family are all boss bitches which is fun to see. (I would've preferred if the males in the family weren't such losers, but I guess that's to counteract the power of the females...)
Overall it's a solid 7.5 so far. Maybe as I catch up to the current eps, and the romance takes off it'll get better.

I was genuinely surprised by the level of gore and fight sequences in both shows as well, haha! I haven't started Vigilante yet to ascertain where it falls in the spectrum, but as far as I'm concerned it sounds like another banger out of the SK Disney+ Action dramas.

Typically Korean Movies lean bloodier than their shows, it probably helped that they (Moving & Worst of Evil) didn't have to worry about broadcasting restrictions due to airing on a streaming platform.

Moving and The Worst of Evil were both really good Action dramas from Disney+. Watched and loved both of them.

Hmm, the business jargon wasn’t the only boring bit of the show for me, I also wasn’t the biggest fan of the characters or their plights. Ughhhh the struggle, I really REALLY wanted to like this! :(

Ughh that’s basically the feeling I was getting from the show. And I’m a big fan of both Lulu and Didi. :(
Agreed, all the leaked clips upped my excitement for this by 5x.

For people that have watched further, does it get better?! Put aside whether one of your favs is in this, and just objectively does the story pick up?

I can’t explain in words how excited I was for this pairing and this drama in general, but Lowkey after 4 episodes…. I’m underwhelmed :(

The fact that he “chose” to step down from his upcoming drama is practically forecasting a dreary future for his career… unless he somehow disproves the drug allegations!

I haven't start this one yet, but IMO he improved greatly between Gangnam Beauty & True Beauty. His bit part in Decibel was enjoyable as well. He's young and consistently playing ML roles, so there's plenty of room to grow!

I see that 2 episodes are out, not complaining because the more the better, but didn't they say that it would only be airing 1 ep per week?
Are they following Moving's format of one day a week but 2 eps on that day?

The sad things is that this show was in IQIYI's confirmed lineup for S ranked projects this year... smh disappointing. I hope things can be resolved properly and this show isn't a complete lost cause. ;(

I’m a huge fan Korean Action-Thriller movies, but this one was definitely lacking. This was a film without much heart, sure there were some decent action shots, but overall this isn’t a movie that you’ll think of after completing. *shrugs*
~And this is coming for someone that was looking forward to a Tokyo & Denver reunion.~
