Woah chill... I posted here because I just read about him parting ways with his agency and was excited for what his future projects could be. Not to get into a spat with a fan whose entire profile is paintings of him. It's not a bad thing to stan someone, but be able to listen to other's opinions that might differ from yours without responding in such a passive aggressive manner...

Also, rather than getting all worked up, realize that my comment wasn't bashing on JCW, it was directed towards the questionable and less than stellar stuff he's been in in recent years (in my opinion). While stating that I thought he was handsome and a skilled actor as well.

EDIT since my post is *controversial*: I will not be going back & forth with people in this comment section. I said what I said and and I stand behind it. This is MY opinion, and YOU are free to feel differently.

Yoooo thank God that he parted ways with his agency because all of his post-military dramas were either majors bummers or flops *side eyeing Melting Me Softly, Backstreet Rookie, and basically everything else too!*

Here's hoping that he puts out more bangers like Healer. Hell, even a makjang-style Penthouse/Sky Castle type of drama would work because he's got the looks and the skills to back it up!

If you look in the popular lists section on this page the one titled "Chinese Dramas that Aren't Out Yet" is mine, and I try and put rumored upcoming shows high up on the list. There's a bunch of S produced dramas that iQiyi confirmed will be airing this year. :)

As for modern dramas, the most hyped that's been announced is this one (Road Home) and then Gen Z starring Rosy (Zhao Lusi) is rumored to be coming out late March or mid April! Hope that helps. :D

Fair enough I'd agree with that sentiment. For some dramas that I've watched in the past, all that I've seen is a favorite of mine is in the cast, and then I'd just jump in completely blind without even reading the summary lol.

I’ve heard about the CGI being less than ideal, so that doesn’t come as a surprise. From the feedback that I’ve gotten about this show, I’m not expecting a masterpiece, but I do hope that’s it’s some lighthearted fun!

I mean considering the premise is a priest that transmigrates and becomes an idol I'm happy to hear this drama isn't taking itself too seriously, and actually allowing for some humor. Seeing how general consensus is that this is a funny show, with a likable ML, I'll definitely be giving it a watch! :)

Wait so for people that have bought the fast pass and saw the ending PLEAAAAASE SPOIL ME!!!! I'm completely caught up on this trainwreck, and honestly at this point I don't like either of the main 2... lol. So I want to hear how it ends, since I've invested 34 eps worth of time, is the ending worth continuing for????!

True Beauty (The visuals on the main 3 are EXCELLENT!)
Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo (College-setting, but a really cute romance where the leads actually dating in real life!)

Typically after watching the first ep, one gets a feel for what to expect the vibe of the drama to be going forward. I definitely do enjoy watching light-hearted comedy's that don't take themselves too seriously though, so what you've mentioned sounds like a complete plus in my books! Thanks for your response!

You know what... I'll be needing a breath of fresh air with nice characters type of show after The Glory S2 airs this Friday. So thanks for your response I'll give this show a watch! :)
