This feels like this drama was used as a draft or smth to write the 16 episode-long drama My Roommate is a Gumiho,, even the lead here is 2nd male lead in the latter I mean, the concept and main plot ideas is the same
This drama was interesting, so many cliché were smartly avoided. Lady Hae & General Go really were amazing to watch, I shipped them with my life. The first 6th episode with Jisoo, I loved On Dal but then Na In Woo took over and I couldn't really get used to him. Well he did a good job overall yet I couldn't. Consequently On Dal's character started becoming pathetic which really didn't help. In the end, I really coudn't stand On Dal, fortunately the story revolved more around the other characters. 8/10 thanks to Lady Hae & General Go, the Princess's bravery and family relationship, and the refreshing take on the story. Funny that the story is based on the chronicles of On Dal, he was really oof, 6/10 at best, thanks to the deer
can someone (who already watched it) tell me what happened from ep 14-16?! I'm just bored to watch the drama
ep14: FL is mistreated by ML then finds out he becomes invisible as he disappears in front of her, then she googles it, afterwards she collapses on set due to stress/fatigue. ML is still a dick but rushes to hospital to check on her and leaves as FL grabs his hand. She escapes hospital to run after him and they kiss in the rain after FL convinces him to share the sad fate.
ep15: lovey dovey watch it and skip scenes you don't like
ep16: lovey dovey as ML and FL prepare for ML's death. Then midnight of 49th day comes and he vanishes. sobsob Then 1 year after his death, FL lives her life without ML fine af hahaha preparing for 2nd season of Killer guitar written by the writer assistant btw. They got ML pretending he is alone on vacation somewhere to loved ones (disc shop owner, FL's mother, agency, etc). FL's mother spends time at disc shop and has alzheimer all the same, FL is fine with it acting the part. Then she receives the letter from last year they mailed together. END

I don't know what they tried to do with this 49 days as it was not the focus I mean really idk hahah I recommend you watch the first eps until like ep7 or 8, then you can skip or fast forward until end of ep 14 and watch the end. That's actually enjoyable this way haha or like me watch the whole thing, it's not a waste of time, it's just... well the plot was not so good

Well this is so bad but let me give you my interpretation: he had already died when he got hit by the truck. Afterwards he was alive but not really, he could see his dead father and also he became invisible. In korean culture there is a belief when you die you have 49 days on earth to relieve any regret or something before really going to Heaven or wherever. I think they used this belief, giving him 49 days to do what his father (man in white) couldn't do (=fall in love, accompanying the sick mother,...), So basically he was a kind of ghost, which is why he vanished when the time was up.
