First episode was a little bit flat with a lot of clichés, but the second episode really interested me! Lee Jun Young is doing a good job, and i like the father-daughter duo. I hope she'll know soon who he is, it's going to be fun!

Right!! I don't understand why it bothers them this much that we don't want to see any romance in this show? It's not allowed to have different tastes now? Even if it's just a little, sometimes we just don't want it at all lmao it's not a crime

I agree. I don't mind a little bit of romance when it's done properly, but here it didn't bring much. It's like they just put this trope there for no reason. The show is fun though, i hope they don't use these romance tropes too many times!

I was specifically answering to @moonchild's comment, to say yes it's possible to lose interest of a show because of that. But we're all talking hypothetically here, even OP. From what i understood in their comment, they're wondering if there was any romance in the original work and if this new character was a potential love interest. Sure it seems a bit dramatic, but some people just want to make sure before going any further with a show. I agree though, that we don't know yet, and it's too early to tell!

It's hilarious! Their reactions remind me of Food wars but without the sexualization which is great 😂 I'm really enjoying it so far, looking forward to the next episodes!

I mean if you start a show not looking for something with romance and there's suddenly romance in it, it could make you stop watching if it's not what you like. Everyone has different tastes, it's not that deep.

The people complaining won't admit it, but this is exactly what's happening here. The BL fetishists were expecting something explicit, a "heated rivalry" kind of show, when it's just a queer story about two men who fell for each other so hard, they can't live without each other. And still these people are saying this is not a love story? that's crazy.

What a masterpiece! It was a really beautiful queer story and the acting was incredible! Both actors gave a great performance. Though i loved it, i'm tired of sad endings, especially when it involves same-sex relationships. That's my only criticism, the rest was so so amazing!!
I'm not even surprised that some people think it's not lgbt, but come on, it's pretty clear they are in love with each other and you don't need steamy kisses to show that. If that's not a love story for you, then we didn't watch the same show!

The rating is lower than it should be. I wouldn't say it's a masterpiece, but it deserves at least more than 8! I think some people didn't get the show...

Lmao, don't take it personally... It's just a subjective point of view, not saying it's bad. I'm just disappointed for now 'cause I've seen a lot of praise for this show and it just wasn't what i expected after watching episode 1. I was bored because it didn't excite me or intrigue me enough, not because i was distracted and on my phone. I was watching on my TV and i was very focused. Episode 3 is very slow and not very engaging to me, i couldn't finish it. Not saying i'm dropping the show, as i said, i'm only putting it on hold and probably watch it another time. I just expressed my disappointment, as i love suspense, mystery, psychological dramas. I'll give it a chance, though!

Ok so everyone's been saying this show is good, i've watched two episodes so far and currently watching episode 3, but i'm kinda bored? I've seen crime shows more engaging than that. Also the tsundere personality of the high school girl is hella annoying. The episode is more than 1 hour, it's too long! It drags and nothing really happens as of yet. I'm putting this on hold. Maybe i'll be back into it if i have nothing better to watch...

Sure, that could be an interesting outcome if it's done this way. But redemption or not, it doesn't mean there's a need to have romance. That was my point. Ji Sung is using her to get his revenge and fix his past mistakes, and i think it's fine like that. Even if she does change, their relationship will be complicated because of the past that still exists for him. And as of right now, she's really annoying and acts like a child. It's a tendency in kdramas that i'm starting to get tired of...

I was enjoying myself, but his ex-wife is ruining it for me... she's really the average annoying fl in kdrama, it's always the same types of character and it's so annoying. And now everyone wants romance in this show when i just want him to fix his mistakes and get his revenge!
