I kind of understand everyone's frustration with Yoon Jae but honestly, he isnt a bad character. He definitely…
Yeah i agree, but that's just people reacting to the show and his behavior, and sure it doesn't make him a bad character. I personally think he's a little bit of man child and he needs to grow, so i hope we're gonna see him be more decisive in the future!
This show is so silly ๐ Yun Jae is on thin ice, i'm watching him too! But overall, i love how this show is light-hearted and at times hilarious, and despite the premise, it's more queer-coded than i expected. It adds a little bonus to the typical straight romance, i'm really enjoying it so far!
Yun Jae is so annoyingly passive, it kinda pisses me off ! Can't you just be firm and establish some bounderies? Like dude come on... But yeah, other than that, this new ep was fun!
I didn't think i would like this show, 'cause it's not the type of shows that i usually like to watch, but i actually enjoy this so much! It's easy to watch and fun. I'm looking forward to the next episodes!
I didn't expect much from this, but it was pretty fun and light-hearted. there are some clichรฉ moments and i'm not a big fan of romance, though i enjoyed these two first episodes. Let's see how it goes!
The actor for Kim JiHun needs to loosen up. He looks funnily weird when he tried to act like a girl doing cutesy…
I thought he did pretty good actually! Usually when gender swap/bend happens, the guy has to do too much to convey he's a woman inside and it's pretty cringe. I expected that it'd be like that too with this show, but the actor didn't exaggerate his mannerisms or facial expressions. I liked that, in her male form, she still smiles and blushes, tucks her hair behind her ear or how she held her boyfriend's finger, or even that she was shown to be vulnerable even as a man, idk it felt natural and her personality was still there. These little moments were enough to show that it was JiEun without going overboard with his actions. I wouldn't say it was perfect, but it was definitely credible!
I have to be honest, i was about to drop after episode 1. Everything was so cringey, cheesy and corny, but i gave it a chance. Second episode was way better and i found myself binge-watching the whole thing! Overall there were some good moments of acting, emotional scenes that were well delivered, and the relationship between the two main leads was so cute, genuine and sweet. I couldn't bring myself to hate this show even though i found it so cringe, and i didn't like the production, but i guess they had a low budget, so i can understand the limitations. Anyway, i'm just confused, i kinda liked it and i don't know how to rate it. 8.7 seems a little bit high for me considering its flaws, but honestly it was cute and funny! I think i would give it a 7.8 at best!
This second season was so good, better than season 1! It was emotional, suspenseful, and hilarious, i was never bored. I love the team, their chemistry is amazing and i'm a sucker for the found family trope. Everyone was great as usual, especially Shin Jae Ha who did an incredible job with this role, i think he was an interesting character. There were some weird moments here and there that could have been developed better, but i'm not gonna be difficult, it's definitely a 9,5/10 for me, it's such a fun show! I can't wait for season 3!!
It's not the type of shows i would usually watch, but overall it was pretty great! A few episodes were a little bit slow and the FL's acting was so bad, i couldn't stand a scene with her making the same expression every time. But other than that, i really enjoyed it! It was entertaining, and you cannot not love Hansu, he was such a sweetheart. I saw that people found him annoying, but he didn't bother me, he was idealistic and naive, but it showed that he had still a lot to learn. Watching this after One high school heroes made me really impressed by Jungha's acting skills, i'm going to follow him closely from now on, i think he has potential! Shin Ha Kyun was really great too, I loved him in Beyond Evil and i loved him in this as well. I wouldn't say no to another season tbh, it's an 8/10 for me!
I was thinking why this season and its ending didn't hit and i think it's simply because a sequel was not supposed to happen. The writer took his time to develop season 1, the characters, their motives, and show how capitalism is the cancer of our society. He did that without saying it, but by showing it with this ruthless game. Sure, a sequel could have built the story more and sure why not add more characters, but it's hard to actually mean something through your writing when you're forced to produce by capitalism itself. The story was over with season 1, everything that came after that was for me a "what if" and only displayed further how the desperation of people is used for entertainment. But they already showed that before, so season 2 and season 3 didn't bring more to the table. I get why this ending is criticized, and I guess they wanted to show us that the cycle never ends with this sequel, but i wished it was done better, it lacked some depth at the end, like the writer didn't have time to tie things up properly. Even though, i'm disappointed myself, the show still did what it was supposed to do, entertain us, just like the vips watching the game...
Wow - can't believe how much worse S3 was than S2. What a let down. Also there was no need for the cop storyline…
All this build-up for nothing, bro just went in just to shout at his brother and then went out like he did something i'm dead ๐ I mean, i get the point of the show, it's just impossible to stop the game, but the execution could have been way better imo!
Haha well, player 246 wasn't hanged either and no one questioned it. Gi-hun was too busy losing his mind too, so don't think too much about the logic of it all ๐
