I think that's because the fights mirror how Eui Gyeom is feeling. At first he lets all his bottled up emotions out and go crazy and then, he gradually loses himself in the process, making the fights lack all their meaning as well. Because he doesn't find any purpose in them, he just wants to hurt like his brother was hurting him when he was depressed. There's actually something really interesting here, and it could have been even better with more time to develop everything!

I'm confused by the rating and the bad comments to be honest. The rating is actually not that low, but i hesitated to watch it because of the comments. Though, i decided to give it a go nonetheless, and i'm so surprised by how much i liked it?? I'm never gonna trust people on here ever again! It wasn't perfect, there were a few issues here and there, and the production is nothing out of the ordinary, but it has a nice storytelling and compelling characters. This was so touching and i really like how it dealt with mental health and the harshness of the music industry. I just felt so much for Jin Woo, i wanted him to be happy and to succeed so bad. His story was really appealing to me and i was so invested and rooting for him. He deserves everything in the world honestly. Ryeo Un did an incredible job by the way, he really impressed me!! The show focuses mainly on the relationship of Su Hyeon and Yoo Jin Woo, but the highlight for me was his friendship with Shim Jin Woo and Ji Yeong, it was so cute and refreshing! The characters' development was really interesting as well! I've seen people complaining about Su Hyeon but her growth and her moving forward from her guilt was quite good. I don't know if it's a problem of media literacy, cause i think they did great with her character. We start not liking her and grow to understand her. She made some stupid decisions and she was selfish, but she genuinely learned from her mistakes. Ultimately, she saved Jin Woo and he saved her. I think that's beautiful. I don't know if it struck a cord with me because i love music and family oriented shows, but it did something to me. For what it is i think it's a good and inspiring show and i recommend it if you want to watch something easy to follow with drama and realistic life struggles.

I have to say, i have thoughts about these two eps. There's definitely a big shift and a change of tone compared to the first four episodes, but i'll wait next week when it's completed to give my final opinion!

It's not surprising though, some scenes were really similar, and it's not just about being the same genre. It's not even a bad thing, both are good shows and the high school action dramas are getting pretty popular. But One High school heroes appears to be quite different in its storytelling despite having a few similarities with WHC and i really appreciate it!

I can't believe I watched the new episodes with such bad subtitles. Bro said "cool" in english and it was auto translated to "exorcism" i'm dying 😂 It's my fault for not being patient, but oh well, I still enjoyed it! Looking forward to next episodes, but it's way too short! I have no idea how they are going to wrap this up in two eps...

I mean this is something that happens all the time in American teen shows as well! I don't know how it works in SK, but i think it's because it's easier to work with adults than minors. By hiring 25+ year old adults they can work longer hours, do more intricate stunts, and i guess they have better acting experience too. But I kinda agree, they could have least casted actors only between 19 and 25 to make it more realistic 'cause there's no way you can make people believe they are 17-18 year old kids when most of them look like grown ass men 😂

He may look younger than the others, but i agree, he definitely looks his age 😂

Seemed like a Weak hero rip-off at first, but it actually has its own flavor! I really like it so far, i can't wait to see more. Eui Gyeom is even more unhinged than Sieun, how is that even possible? 😂 But jokes aside, my boy really needs therapy and a good hug, i hate to watch him suffer like this 😢

I honestly wasn't expecting the rollercoaster of emotions this was going to be! At first, I almost stopped watching because I thought the beginning of the first episode was a little corny. But I kept watching for the comedy which was really good in my opinion, and then I just gradually got invested in the story. I love how the show talks about guilt, grief, love, friendship, family, in such a beautiful way. I teared up so many times. Also the little trio was so fun to watch, i loved them together! I had a great time watching this and I really recommend it if you want to watch a show which balances well between comedy and drama!

It was interesting, but something was missing for me. I wasn't that invested in the story, but i like the training arc, the mc's development and how he never gives up, this trope always works! I gave this movie a 7.5, it was alright overall! There's apparently going to be a series as a sequel, so i'm kinda curious how this will go.

Nothing to do with age. It's pretty simple, people are going to rate stuff based on what they've seen. No need to be condescending about it, it's just one opinion among many.

I feel like people are going to be more critical with this season, but honestly i don't care what anyone says, i ate that shit up! It was so entertaining, the fights were good, Jun Tae was my boy, the friendship, the chemistry, the emotions!! That's all i need to enjoy a show! Was it perfect? No, but it really did the job and i definitely want more! Season 3 when??

Well, it's 2025, BUT South Korea is still cautious about anything LGBTQ in mainstream media. It doesn't really matter if it's a GL or not, though. It's a show with queer elements which is not the same thing as a GL which focus more on the romance aspect between two girls. Doesn't change the fact that the characters were attracted to each other... The kissing part in the dream was to show us Seul-gi's sexual awakening and her attraction towards Je-Yi despite being in competition with her. They became somehow friends who gradually got obsessed with each other sexually and romantically. I would have loved for them to confess and kiss, but I think they didn't need to, their actions speak for themselves, loudly throughout the show. Their relationship is the catalyst for the mystery and drama unfolding around them, but it is not the sole focus and is rather used as a way to put into light school rivalry and elitism, and show the consequences. If people were looking for a GL drama with all the romantic tropes, this is not the show for them, I guess.

Yeah, for me it's about the pacing, i think it's probably a problem of budget, some things must have been cut and the whole thing ended up not as it was supposed to be. Whatever the reason, they still managed to finish the story as well as they could i guess :/ Still liked the show personally!
