Now, I'm not sure I understood the after credits scene? Is Bi Zhi working for the Time administration and remembers everything, but pretended when he came to see Su Beilu? Or did he actually forget everything but then how can he still time travel when the administration fixed everything? Shouldn't he be back in his time? I need answers in season 2!!
Edit: I was tired and got everything mixed up, I meant the scene before the credits, not after π Watched the episode again, and it's clear that Bi Zhi remembers everything, though i'm still wondering why the time administration allowed him to travel to the past again. It's probably not authorized, but he did it anyway to meet Su Beilu. I can't wait to see what happened during the ellipse for Bi Zhi if there's another season :)
I found another little gem! It's not perfect, it can still be more polished, but it was exactly what i needed when i was looking for something new and fresh. The premise is really cool and i like the Doctor Who vibes. The story was easy to follow and entertaining enough to keep me invested. The pace could have been better, though. Sometimes some episodes were slow and lacked depth, and i think that they could have mixed the episodic episodes and the main storyline better. But, overall, it's a nice little show! Now, let's talk about Su Beilu because i won't let anyone trash him again. He's so underappreciated because some people find him annoying. But he was supposed to be impulsive, childish and unreliable at the beginning, because he didn't get to have a normal childhood and he grew up alone after his grandmother passed. His growth in the show was actually beautiful to see and he really became one of my favorites! His relationship with Bi Zhi was so endearing and their friendship so important. Their chemistry was definitely there and both actors did a great job! Their dynamic was so funny to me, with Su Beilu being an excited puppy using one brain cell and Bi Zhi being too serious, barely smiling, usually being the brain of the operation and forced to manage his stupid friend.π But honestly, they have really healed each other in ways they haven't realized themselves and i absolutely love the soulmatism of it all! I was disappointed to see so many negative comments when i was enjoying myself so much, because this show is better than the comment section makes it out to be. Tumblr is definitely more fun than here! If you hesitate to watch the show, just give it a try, it's really worth it, especially if you wanna watch something that's not too complex with time travel and good bromance! It's cute, sometimes funny, and sad, and so much more! I really hope there's going to be season 2!
The Fusheng hall auction organization really has some crazy mofos like they're out there causing chaos in the past and killing people just for a bunch of objects to sell π
I'm really enjoying these last episodes, I like how everything is coming together. I think we're going to have a good finale! Well, i hope. It's been pretty great so far, i can't wait to watch the final episode!
Still at Episode 7. So far, am not sure how this drama is going. Most of the comments section lean towards negative…
Too bad! Su Beilu's great though. He's impulsive, but he has a good heart. He has learned a lot and has grown so much throughout the show. We understand him more and more and his character is actually pretty interesting! But it's up to you if you want to continue to watch or not :)
Ep 27 was so interesting! I was waiting for them to show more of the future, and i'm really intrigued by the story of Miss Ye and the organization she works for! And we know now why Bi Zhi was cold and not always expressive with his emotions at first, turns out people of his time all act like that. It gives more understanding and depth to his character, i think, and it shows how much he's changed since he's met Su Beilu!
No believable bromance as there's zero chemistry between the two, and Gao Wei Guang as Bi Zhi is as bland as Su…
Wow calm down, i didn't even criticize you. I just asked a question and was amused and curious because i always see your negative comments and wondered why you were still watching if you don't actually enjoy the show. If i have so many things to criticize, I'd just stop watching and move on, so that didn't make sense to me. You find small bits that you enjoy, then good for you. Still, i don't agree with what you said, but never said i know better than you, never said the show didn't have any flaws, you are just putting words into my mouth and speculating on my intentions. And calling me immature because of this? c'mon now!
Ep 25 was honestly cute, but i don't understand the rules of time travel in this show. Why would Bi Zhi change the past again? Bro didn't you learn anything? π
May be different for people who watched the donghua. I started out at a 10 but Su Bei Lu is an immature idiot…
I don't understand the hate either. I think that people who dislike him don't understand his character at all. Su Beilu had a complicated childhood and you can clearly see that he's sensitive and very empathetic. He can be naive and childish at times, but that's because he didn't get to really enjoy his childhood. However, he has grown, and shows vulnerability and self-reflection. He's less impulsive and calmer and his personality balances well with Bi Zhi's. They actually did a great job showing why Su Beilu is the way he is and all his layers!
