So I know they intentionally don’t show certain peoples confessionals / reactions sometimes to keep us guessing and invested (like with changmin last year when he didn’t pick JH as a roommate and we all lost our minds) but I’m SO curious about sunghos reaction to

- overhearing that convo between SW and JS
-his reaction to that convo with SW where SW was like “I’m so upset that JS likes you / I’m gonna stay away today”…

SH May very well have sent SW a voicenote bc SW kind of implied that if SH doesn’t pick him he’s bouncing PLUS SH knows JS has unshakeable feelings

But I dunno guys I feel like SH may be swayed by those two convos I mention above going forward… i hope they show us his thoughts on them

This is interesting! There’s only one reason I think the theory could be wrong I’m curious to know your thoughts - Seonwoo says in this convo that someone has been calling him (yH) and he wants to give that person a chance and go on a date. But if the convo happens post bbq then Seonwoo all ready rejected YH in that definitive way…. So that makes me think this convo is from the previous night

Really? I disagree! After he said he felt fully 50/50 split between them and that he thinks the guy he calls will call him back, I really got the vibe he called JS… plus in the teaser seonwoo says “I think I got called by yeonhee” which may be a trick to make us think he only got one call but…. Maybe he did only get one?

Ok time to add my 2 cents hehe

-these two episodes were really interesting because there were no dates (which didn’t happen last season). I almost feel like these two episodes were all about gaining insight into people’s feelings and I realllly liked how much the guys were talking to each other about their thoughts. I feel like we didn’t get much of that last time and it helps me understand their thought process a bit better!

-I feel like we missed something or something was left out in editing; because SW had said he wanted to go on a date with YH and seemed excited to have solo time during grocery shopping… or at least he wanted to explore that connection. then we didn’t see what happened in the store, and suddenly SW is rejecting YH in a way that feels very definitive?

-It’s funny people in the comments are barely mentioning the second love triangle, but I’m really intrigued! It seems like MS likes HyeonJoon, and HyeonJoon obviously likes him (obviously to us lol) but something about Hyeonjoons awkwardness and difficulty communicating keeps making MS waver towards Hyeonjin. I feel like one date between Minseong and HyeonJoon where they talked openly could really solidify things for them.

-I love how Hyeonjin is such an opportunist! Lol. Seonwoo opened up to him about the dynamic with Sungho and what he wants in a relationship and Hyeonjin was like… noted! He will buckle under pressure im going for it! Haha. Seonwoo seemed uncomfortable with him though so I have no clue if he’s into it.

-I really feel for Sungho. What a stressful position to be in! These last few episodes I have been thinking about this triangle in this way- you know how when we use dating apps, or people go on these shows, we often gravitate towards people based on our most superficial types, right? Like who we immediately think is hot or fits our type. This is how sungho felt towards Seonwoo from the start- oh I’m interested in this person. And I’m not saying that’s not genuine! But from my experience, junsung represents the other type of relationships which to me are more grounded in reality- when you meet someone, you feel neutral, but when you come to know them and they show their character through their actions, you come to have feelings for them slowly. Junsung has quietly been by sunghos side, doing little acts for him, quietly flirting, saying how he feels, and this has gotten through to sungho- something who in ep 1 said he loves to be loved. I think that after eavesdropping, Seonwoos affection might feel a bit more unstable and junsung might seem like a better option.

Long story short- I think dates between sungho and junsung, and minseong and hyeonjoon, and yeonhee and Seonwoo, could move everything forward and give them all clarity!! Excited to see what happens!

I got the impression he left it for JS actually, because he said something like I am pretty sure he will call me too. If he was calling SW with all the uncertainty he wouldn’t necessarily be sure to get a call back, whereas he knows JS will call him too. Plus if he called SW I think his message would have been longer or possibly referenced everything between them. His short smiley message made me think more of the way he communicates with JS… might be wishful thinking on my part but that’s how I interpreted it! :)

But then who called junsung in that scene? And why was he confused about yH right after?

While I was totally hooked last season, there is something about this combo of people that is so much more interesting! Maybe it’s simply that more people have interest in a wider range of people whereas the first season didn’t feel so varied

Anyways! I love them all! Ep 5 was a really nice insight into their experiences, and woof I am soooo consumed by the junsung-sungho of it all. The way junsung has been showing affection is so romantic… and I am a total seon-woo myself, so while I definitely think his behaviour would be confusing for those in the house, I think I sort of understand his unwillingness to make a choice for fear of confrontation..:. However!!! I hope he goes in another direction bc it seems he may be settling on Sungho as his choice???

I know everyone is saying the same thing, but even if I wasn’t a jay fan I would have been shocked by this ep. When he is ad libbing they crop the shot of the stage to exclude only HIM? the person singing?
From what I’ve read here and elsewhere on the internet, it’s not a stretch to say that there is some real racism / xenophobia at play in the decision making of voters and audience members. And I can’t help but wonder if jay, who objectively had a voice that suited that song best and knocked it out of the park, is being treated this way because of his ethnicity and appearance?
I honestly feel for him. We’re frustrated as audience members but imagine how he is internalizing it??? Would be enough for me to give up on being in the kpop industry if I were him

Never thought I’d find myself teary eyed over this CURSED show (which I do love….). I have so many thoughts about this ep.

I’ve been team Haruto all the way, but this ep reallllly solidified him for me. He’s so young, but was so strong and managed his situation and team so well. Plus he is talented and fun! I would love to follow a group with him as a member, he sort of reminds me of my ult bias Han from stray kids in his goofiness

The glimpses of their interaction with mentors really makes me feel for all trainees and idols out there. Kpop culture is the way it is, but I really hope it changes and evolves as time goes on. I can’t imagine the mental health of some of these (sometimes extremely YOUNG) people who have to diet/ work so hard/ negative feedback SO extreme it feels far more punitive than constructive…

This ep I feel like Jiwoongs value as a leader / older team member (if he debuts which it seems he will) really showed itself. It seemed like he was the only one brave enough to make a fair suggestion, and I really admire that he brought it up when sung Han bin seemed to also want to but was too nervous to do so.

Anywayyysss, yet another day where Park Han Bins smile makes me fall in lovvvveeeeeee

Okay! For the first comment, yes they are both out of the closet to at least some extent. To each other, their friends, etc.

For the second comment, I’m not sure. I can’t remember it being a thing in the webtoon, I read it more as, taejoon is conscious of wonyoung romantically so he reacts to touch because of that.

As for your final question, ho tae saw cafe guy kiss a ex boyfriend and reacted homophobically: they were very close before, and I think Ho tae had always liked cafe dude, but had repressed it to some extent and seeing him be gay let to inner turmoil!

Later in the show the whole CEO potter thing comes up again, so maybe they plan on explaining it in more detail then? Also maybe relying heavily on how many BL premises are illogical ? Lol. Like being lazy about it? I dunnooo but I’m glad my context helped

I love the web toon so much and I’m just delighted seeing it brought to life! Wah! I know everything that’s gonna happen and I still can’t wait

So from the webtoon I know the situation is that the CEO wants to sign a contract with the potter to show his work in galleries, to represent him basically, and also maybe sell his stuff and get him to do pottery lessons. So it’s still a stretch but it is for business reasons

A lot of romance stories end with the leads getting together, but what I really love and am interested in is this- two people in a relationship dealing with their own baggage, trying to make things work. Rather than an ex, a blackmail plot, family drama, it’s the nuance of two people trying to care for each other that I lovveee to see. And these two are tricky- they seem doomed, with Hiras unbelievably low self esteem and skewed perspective of Kiyoi, who is just trying to have a normal relationship! I love when he says that he can’t sulk or give clues, he has to communicate directly… this kind of realization is so key. I can’t wait to see how the movie portrays their hopefully evolving dynamic!
