Yeah that one long clip of Hyeongjun and jaehas date on the YouTube was so informative and really changed how I felt about them as a couple

It would’ve been nice to see snapshots of the others too

Yeah people are denying obvious chemistry! Hyunjun seemed so open and happy. He could still have a great date and get together with Yunjae BUT it’s a fact that date went really well

Only one ep this week

Loved this ep I think it was the best of the season so far. For one, because the jenga is always a really wonderful moment for them to bond and share experiences. I liked getting insight in their histories or preferences and the hand holding was so dramatic I loved it!

I love that Hyeongjun seems to have made the decision to go on a date with Jaeha, and that Jaeha continued to pursue him while finally saying that he would give space if truly rejected. I do have a feeling they will reconcile and we will all be crying when it happens… otherwise I don’t know why the producers would show us that clip of their date from the first shoot.

I like getting a bit more insight into Hyunjun. He seems like a pretty chill and simple guy, kinda cute actually! Him and Sunwook had great chemistry but I’m excited to see him and Yunjae get a chance for a one on one date too! I’m glad Yunjae worked up his courage and that Jaeha kept pushing him along as an ally. I really respect Jaeha being honest with Yunjae on their date too.. I know Jaeha messed up with his relationship but he seems like a good person who is very open and straight forward which is always a relief on shows like this

My two beefs this ep
1- Eum Hyeokjin got zero screen time (I guess he slept all day but still)
2- taichi! Yes he’s sick but if he is feeling overwhelmed by Hangyeol I wish he were honest cuz Hangyeol has two other people pursuing him way more actively that he isn’t really giving a chance to cuz of taichi. I really hope Hangyeol picks Eum Hyeokjin for his next date I feel like their personalities and everything actually mesh a lot more

Anyways I’m excited and nervous for next ep! I have a feeling Sumin will be eliminated but maybe that’s for the best so he doesn’t have to sit around he hous alone

I love him too! I actually feel like his bubbly forward vibe matched Hangyeol really well I’d be happy if they ended up together

There is no way yunjae will be eliminated? That wouldn’t make sense. If contestants are eliminating each other based on bad blood or lack of romantic interest there are people like Jaeha, Sumin, little Hyeokjin, etc who would be eliminated first I think

Personally this season feels the most promising season since season 2. You’ll have to deal with the uncertainty of not knowing if anyone’s love story will pan out til the end so if that’s too hard then wait til the season is done, but it’s fun watching week to week!

My hope is that like junseongho they will chose each other for a date soon and because we and they had to wait the pay off will be that much better

I could be wrong but I remember in season two he maybe also said director but apparently that meant receptionist ?

Also their reaction to Jae Ha choosing to come back was helpful to me contextually. They seemed to really understand his choice to want to be on the show again to come out to his family

They were both on set for both shootings of this season as Seongho does the makeup, plus it seems they socially know some of the contestants which is funny. Also, call me crazy, but I feel like their micro expressions and commentary have some clues about what happens but I could be reading into it! Definitely seems to confirm who the new guy is? Or at least what season he is returning from?

My guess is that Jaeha will only go after his ex. I suspect he said the other guys in ep 1 cuz he didn’t know his ex would be on the show and had to pick someone. But if as he said the only reason he came back was to come out to his parents and he still has big feelings for his ex I think he was planning to half ass the dating aspect.

Good point! It kind of makes it funnier that everyone was so awkward and silent at the table in episode one cuz I almost think the were so afraid of seeming like they knew each other rhat they just didn’t say anything

First off I just wanna say ALAN! I don’t know why people aren’t taking about him. He’s such a sweetie, and he’s come through so much and is so thoughtful. As an extrovert I totally do what he does in group situations, trying to make sure everyone feels comfy all the time and it can be tiring! It seems his forward nature was a miss for Kazuto, but even then Alan was like “thanks for telling me!”. I hope he finds someone else in the house to connect with.

I wish Taeheon got more screen time. We didn’t even get context for him asking kazuto to work with him. Is he interested in him? If not then who? He and gensei really don’t get much screen time and I’m curious about them

Personally, I’m rooting for shun and dai. I see all the people frustrated with Shun and I agree he is really sending mixed messages. But I think I can understand him. I’m a lot like dai, especially when I was their age, and as a happy go lucky type I was drawn to and dated many depressed ppl with complicated backgrounds who would be and up and down like shun. I think it’s a matter of needing to be willing to communicate a lot to understand them and why they behave the way they do. Through the confessional interviews shun really nailed things I think- he is overwhelmed by clinginess and it turns him off in that intense triggered way. Obviously it would’ve been ideal if he had clearly said to dai- I need you to dial back a bit so I can have space to figure out how I feel. Because dai just heard “let’s be friends” and what else is he supposed to think than… I’m friendzoned. But now that he had some space to figure how he feels shun clearly is into dai. I like the introduction of the new guy I think he will be a catalyst between shun and dai to get them together, and it’ll offer the other guys someone new to pursue :-)

Definitely not. When we talk about reality shows being manufactured that relates to
-producers who see interesting “storylines” naturally pop up between participants, and producers then try to fan the flames with prompts, dates, games, or asking questions about specific things in confessionals.
-producers then edit the massive amounts of footage they have to further the narrative they like. So the fake part might be that sometimes they will take a reaction shot of someone and edit it into a different moment to make it appear more dramatic etc
-they are not lying and following a script, for example shun telling dai about his life is completely genuine, what they say to each other and their reactions are all real

I feel like hanmin and minseon are real mvps of these last two episodes. They both are so supportive and understanding of the guys they like despite the drama.

I feel bad for both youngjoon and MG to be honest. It’s like a worst case scenario of misunderstandings and different communication styles. I understand where they both were coming from but whew it’s thrown a wrench in the vibe of this season!

As for the love triangle… I really don’t get seongmin. Does he straight up not like hwi anymore??? Why does hwi make him so sad? And why does he wanna go on another date with JS?? Like your first date I feel like it became very clear they don’t make sense together? So why?
