What do you think? I've seen two comments here that the FL didn't consider Roy anything other than a friend. She wasn't attracted to him at all. Personally, I didn't get that vibe at all. I felt there was a definite connection that went both ways. I'm curious to know what other people think?

Woah!! I hadn't even realized that bit. You're right! He'll be the selfless husband who gave his liver to a wife who left him omg!!!!! How I detest the writers let me count the ways!!

She wasn't divorced yet. And she hadn't closed fully the chapter on her ex husband. It's understandable to need time to recover in order to move on. But there was a definite connection between them and it wasn't one-sided.

Respectfully disagree. She definitely connected with him. The emotional connection was more overtly shown but the attraction was there too. She gave a copout reason for turning him down.

Exactly!! If they'd treated the show as a woman coming into her own and succeeding as a single, strong woman then fine. Do that. But they didn't!!
The deliberate buildup of a romance that went nowhere is an insult to viewers and to the FL too!! I don't buy that she wanted to be alone forever, and she definitlely connected with the SML. No idea what the heck the writers were thinking.
