So whats the ending?should I watch this?(place a spoiler tag for the response)
The ending was a letdown. There was a buildup from the begining to the middle of show, leading us to expect things to be resolved in a certain way, but towards the end the writers did a 180 and our expectations were massively let down. I'll spoil this by saying the "bad ppl" mostly get away with being bad, not having suffered any major consequences. And the female lead who has suffered a lot has a....somewhat...happy ending, with a big caveat.
Everything will be fine only if cha doesn't slept with inho even after knowing he has girlfriend.Everything happened…
I think at some point it was mentioned that the original gf was out of the country, they were on a break. Dr Cha might not have known they were still together. Either way, in the end, all they had was a one night stand while she was lost and recovering from illness. The events that followed being "Karma" is too much for something so relatively benign.
Started so good but ended so badly. 1) SHE COULDVE STAYED WITH ROY , I dont understand why would they include…
1= totally agree. they set us up with Roy. first half to mid part of the show was a nice buildup of them connecting, flirting, catching feelings. then towards the end they did a 180. completely disengenuous and not in keeping with the characters.
I wanted it to be publicly known as well, with Dr Cha's mum blirting it out at the hospital, i was waiting and…
for me the biggest disconnect was that they didn't stay true to characters or the storyline. from the beginning to the end, the difference was so big, it was like two totally different stories. im highly disappointed. the buildup of the start and middle of the series was meant for a completely different ending.
1. Dr Roy Kim had the best ending. He met a new woman and started a lovely relationship with her. 2. She had to…
A woman we don't know. She's shown in the last five seconds of the show as someone Roy meets up with at a store and they greet each other warmly. The best friend of the FL tells her that she heard Roy has a gf and it's serious, to which the FL responds that she knows this and is happy for him.
Really? The way he was looking at Dr Cha before getting into the car at the end of the medical mission and him thinking of her being in his office with the kids- that finger heart, idk....
What do you think? I've seen two comments here that the FL didn't consider Roy anything other than a friend. She wasn't attracted to him at all. Personally, I didn't get that vibe at all. I felt there was a definite connection that went both ways. I'm curious to know what other people think?
I think the thing i hate most about this show is that nobody knew about the affair other than their families and…
Woah!! I hadn't even realized that bit. You're right! He'll be the selfless husband who gave his liver to a wife who left him omg!!!!! How I detest the writers let me count the ways!!
Dr Cha never had any feelings for Dr Roy. She was never attracted to him. I agree the ending was underwhelming…
She wasn't divorced yet. And she hadn't closed fully the chapter on her ex husband. It's understandable to need time to recover in order to move on. But there was a definite connection between them and it wasn't one-sided.

Respectfully disagree. She definitely connected with him. The emotional connection was more overtly shown but the attraction was there too. She gave a copout reason for turning him down.
How did the writers honestly think this was a satisfying and deserved ending 🤔. The whole romance build up…
Exactly!! If they'd treated the show as a woman coming into her own and succeeding as a single, strong woman then fine. Do that. But they didn't!! The deliberate buildup of a romance that went nowhere is an insult to viewers and to the FL too!! I don't buy that she wanted to be alone forever, and she definitlely connected with the SML. No idea what the heck the writers were thinking.
